Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Malden – 2024

This place was recommended to me by my good friend John from Salem. John is the kind of guy that knows a thing or two about restaurants and he didn't miss on this one. Stake tips juicy,flavorful and cook to perfection. Buffalo tenders moist and not overly spicy. My wife had the loaded nachos and loved them. Great atmosphere,clean and very fast and friendly service. Also Keno and cold beer. And very very good prices. Highly recommend.

Went around 4:15 Thursday night, plenty of seats to choose from, since it was seat yourself. There is no sign that says seat yourself though! It was very stuffy inside could and needed to be a lot cooler. There was a year expired ketchup bottle on the table, definitely not using that. The staff were nice and friendly just took awhile to get our food and drinks etc. The food was delicious very good! Everything we ordered was good. They do bring you complimentary bread and butter. The refills on soda are NOT FREE! Also the prices on the website online are cheaper than the prices at the restaurant! We left around 5:45 and it was PACKED, and a 30 minute wait time! There were people everywhere, hard to get out the door. Would definitely go back for the food. The steak tips were very good we asked medium well and they were well done. But still good. Fries good. Chicken Marsala excellent. Pizza excellent.

Went in expecting less than a stellar experience and was blown away at how welcoming and at home I felt. Food was delicious, only overshadowed by our extremely friendly and responsive server and the good vibes in the restaurant. This will be our go-to location when in town visiting. Highly recommend even after just one visit. Oh and if you like steak and cheese subs, you'll LOVE the steak and cheese pizza. Awesome recommendation by the server.

Food was alright, maybe a little overdone in the fries and meats. Server was sweet, knowledgeable, and friendly, but not the most attentive. The atmosphere is AMAZING in the historical train station. Has a fun little gambling game for if you just pay for drinks or your whole meal. It's a very bingo/lottery vibe where if the waiter pulls your number, it's free.

Have been walking near this restaurant for the past 10 years, and never entered it, and it is because somebody posted in the reviews an ugly first picture of the restaurant inside. We didn't have any high expectation from this place, so thought that we'll just enjoy a pizza inside, and that's it. To our biggest surprise, it came that this restaurant looked inside very good, had great variety of food and drinks, and not only pizza. Will definitely visit this place again!

The Atmosphere was cute, rustic, old train station. We loved how the menus gave reference to the MBTA lines. There was plenty of food selection. The food was delicious and the dessert was yummy! Great for family, friends, and all occasions. Definitely will not disappoint!

It’s a beautiful Spring themed restaurant with lots of food, beer, and great variety of cocktail drinks. Pretty, colorful and floral atmosphere. (I had to re-edit and reload this! This was taken back in May 2024. For some strange reason my IPhone 7 was having technical problems, So I couldn’t upload it to Google maps properly, So I upgraded to IPhone 16 and it work just fine lol).

Treat yourself to a drink or lunch at Mystic Station and get a wonderful dose of holiday cheer! The decorations are over the top fantastic, warm fure in the fireplace, and friendly cheerful people! An unexpected treat!

Whenever someone mentions buffalo chicken dip to me, I ALWAYS tell them to check out Mystic Station. Hands down one of the coolest places to go and visit especially in December with the miracle on mystic. With food, drinks, and atmosphere themed to the Christmas tune. Service here is always great and friendly. Anytime I get the chance to visit I'm always excited and you should be too! It's worth the visit no matter where you come from.

Hugh O’Neill’s Irish Pub is absolutely awesome! The Shepherd’s Pie (beef AND lamb) is phenomenal – hearty, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with live Irish folk music adding to the authentic charm. Whether you’re local or visiting, this pub is a must-visit for anyone craving a delicious meal and a true Irish experience in the greater Boston area. Highly recommend!

Loved this pub, went on a Friday night and there was live music with Christmas decorations, so very jolly.Enjoyed the alagash white beer. The appetizers were very well made and delicious. Got the fries with curry, so good! Highly recommend this place for a hangout with friends!

First time coming for lunch, nice day out so we sat outside. Food quantity was great! Will be back again!

This is a casual, clean, comfortable restaurant with friendly servers. That said, my experience with the food was disappointing. I ordered a haddock fish sandwich and it had no seasoning other than salt. It would have tasted better with some lettuce, pickles, mayo and/or some kind of tart sauce added to it. Unfortunately, it was literally just a piece of fried fish between two sesame encrusted buns. I was not offered options of toppings/additions. It was insipid and boring. I had to pair it with a Weiss bier to make it palatable - the beer provided some pithy, hoppy flavours as a contrast to the monotonous flavours of bread and fried fish. If the blandest, simplest food is what you’re into, this place might be an option for you

At first i ordered a RB sandwich with onions and mayo and bbq, then i saw the roast beef dinner platter 6 dollars more (I’m thinking sliced roast beef, gravy and some sides, the app didn’t say anything, no pics and no options. I get my order and it’s very cool, roast beef on a bun with nothing. So pay more for a cold dry roast beef sandwich. I call so they can make it right and all i get is indifference. The rating must come from family and friends or dine in where they might get it right. Also no utensils, no napkins or salt and pepper. Not worth the 40 dollars and a pathetic meal. PS if the fries and onion rings were any colder, they would be frozen. Just bit i to toast beef sandwich, also stone cold and zero flavor. My fries and ring without any salt or ketchup are not edible. It’s all going on the trash.

I come here quite often. It is usually always very good! Today i decided to try a Greek salad with steak tips. The container was barely filled with anything. Also the steak definitely tasted weird. I’d just get something else next time.

Been here like a dozen times but today was extra special so I had to write a review. We got a couple martinis (her a pistachio martini, me a regular martini, always fantastic). Get the short rib arancini and seafood scampi but everything is good. Love the ambience, the people, the staff, just everything. Ryan helped us out today and was phenomenal. Can’t wait to come back. The best calamari anywhere. Good service and drinks. Pretty everything is good except the steak, which came out gray and raw.

I had my baby shower here and it was great. John made sure it went smoothly and was a pleasure to work with. Made the process very easy. Both waitresses (Jessica & Johanna) were so kind and attentive. We went with the brunch option & the food was so good especially the chicken broccoli and ziti. We got to take the leftovers home also which they packed up for us which was much appreciated. The price was very fair and better than most local options with a function room. There was garage and off street parking which made it very convenient for guests. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a party or function.

First time there. Huge birthday party of 20! Although it's been mentioned numerous times before, the food here was great! Prices are very reasonable too. Each dish was filling and portioned with the hungry in mind! The fajitas and quesadillas in particular taste very rich Everything was great! Will go back And the steak fajitas came out sizzling hot Portions are big, But the burritos are huge so be prepared (we shared) for dessert churros are a must, But the fried ice cream will always impress and a win for the kids

My boyfriend and I come here almost every weekend because their food is simply amazing! Their margaritas are the best around! The customer service is exceptional and we’re always pleased after every visit

District Kitchen is the perfect place to go to with friends for shareable plates. The music was early 2000s vibe. The host takes pictures of you with a polaroid. They were decorated for Christmas leading me to believe they rotate their decor. Perfect place to go with friends. Come hungry. There was parking close by in the T parking lot.

Delicious!! The edamame with chili garlic sauce was unreal. I loved all the dumplings, especially the soup dumplings. The Szechuan style chicken was a standout too. All the dishes we got were great! They also have some crazy cocktails.

This place is one of the best restaurants I ever been in, highly recommended. The bartender, Daniel was super nice, the drink is awesome. Food also very delicious and the price is affordable. Again, highly recommended

I recently visited Crying Thaiger in Malden and had a generally good experience. The food was quite enjoyable, especially the Pad Thai, which I would highly recommend for its authentic flavors and well-balanced seasoning. One of my favorite Thai restaurants around the Boston area. Three years later and everything remains the same: flavors, service, aesthetics. It’s a perfect place for date night or catch up with friends. A must order is the roti with the yummy green curry sauce and any dish with crispy chicken. If you leave room for dessert, try the mango sticky rice! You won’t be disappointed.

Come here for the FOOD! I had the double trouble cheeseburger. It came fast, crispy bacon, moist beef and a tangy ketchup sauce. I could really taste the cheese. Tiny kitchen surrounded by a small deck in a car park. Worth the trip for an all American experience.

I ordered a chicken burger, called the But Make Me Spicy. The taste was good. I expected to have lunch inside the restaurant because it was a hot day but this was a small hamburger stand, there was no space such as that. Although there is a counter table with some stools.

They live up to their name. I got their sweet and spicy fries and the merica style burger. This place is insanely busy on the weekend. I see ppl coming in and out picking up orders every 3m when I was waiting for my order. They also have a parking lot next to their restaurant.

Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had since moving to the area. In terms of value, taste, nutrition, and service this place is amazing! You get it all. We ordered the chicken bowl and chicken pie. There was a perfect ratio of meat to quinoa and veggies. I loved every bite. The pasty of the meat pie (more like a large patty) was so tasty and the perfect texture. The filling was well seasoned. We also got a complimentary dessert and it was amazing as well. We appreciated the kind and quick service, I was genuinely shocked this place is empty for a Friday night. We will be returning again.

My wife and I were searching for places to eat in Malden and this place popped up. We decided to try it after reading how happy customers were with the food and experience. We ordered the stuffed cabbage leaves, the taste of Moldova bowl, and the meat pie. All were delicious and I’d highly recommend this to all my friends. The garlic aoli was a perfect pairing with the meat pie. We will be coming back soon!

Quick and utterly phenomenal food tucked away into a side street I’ve never been on. How fun to get to explore through food, and I’m glad I stumbled upon this place. I got the Taste of Moldova, and the pork and sauerkraut and veggies were so so tasty together!!! The second you remove the lid, the smell is overwhelmingly delicious!!! The punch tastes like dessert, and the generous man gave me an extra profiterol. Tasty! The parking is sparse out front, and the place is only open 4-7, but there is indoor and outdoor seating and the T or Highway are close. There is an accessibility bathroom as well. Highly recommend!!!

Good Korean food. Five to six tables. St parking or lot nearby. The portions are good here. Tried a few dishes all good. The stone bibimbap was great. Jjajang noodles barely had meat though. Good side dishes banchan. Service was good too. Could use nicer atmosphere and bathrooms.

Good Korean food at a decent price and fast service. Dine in has small tables so don't expect comfort. Friendly staff. If you need a quick bite and are in the mood for some kimchi and bulgogi, this spot will satisfy.

First thought there were lots of parking spaces in the Centre Plaza. Walking into the restaurant it was small. There were three tables on each side. I had to wait in the entry way for my food to finish so I would not block the register from customers. I bought the T1. TTEOK BOKKI my first impression upon opening the dish the smell was overwhelming and not in a good way. The dish did not smell fresh. But I continued anyway. My first bite of the noodle left me confused. The texture of the noodle was very thick and chewy. The noodles were so chewy that my jaw began to hurt. If you are not too spicy food the sauce will keep you coughing. So, make sure you have water on deck. The egg was the best part of the dish. I also ordered a rice punch and two other drinks. The consistency of the rice punch was off putting. I am not sure if the Rice Punch can was expired or not but the particles in the drink did not resemble rice. The size of the cans were not your regular size soda cans but the miniature one. Overall, my experience was a miss with this dish. But my missed does not necessary mean that you won’t enjoy a different dish.

Been going here for years. Not once have I ever had anything less than greatness. Their sushi is the best! Friendly staff and fast service…. Shoutout to Sam and Linda. They are the best *9/22/2024. Wanted to come back to leave a review. As always All seasons excelled and hit the mark perfectly. Linda is always so friendly, attentive to the guests, and personable. She really made my birthday dinner special by making some new recommendations on food for me and even singing happy birthday in Chinese! Which was a first and so cool food was delicious as always, the steak was cooked perfectly medium. Absolutely amazing. See you guys soon

Great service, atmosphere and presentation. General chicken is general chicken. Sushi is a bit lacking on qnty for the price and quality.

All seasons has plenty of different options for different appetites. The atmosphere here is nice, whether it's a Friday night when they have some music, or when it's during the lunch and weekday hours. Just the overall decor and atmosphere is nice. The service is great, they make sure you are pleased and check on you just the right amount of times, and even others working make sure you are all set, whether it's with your food, or drink refills. The food comes out hot and fresh. Or the sushi is very fresh. Where you know it's just made per order. They have two sides to this restaurant, and both sides are equally nice and pleasant. I will always come back here for expertise service and food.

I've been driving past this place for 3 years. Keep saying that I want to go in, and I went in today, and I was extremely happy. The atmosphere was great for Saturday night, wonderful mixed music. The waitress was amazingly friendly and best of all the food was amazing the price perfect I could have asked for a better dinner. Anybody to go to this place if they want to try some Mexican food...

Delicious food, solid drinks and great service/environment. We got the shrimp fajitas and a veggie quesadilla. Both were great, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The drink highlight for us was definitely the Lady in Red. We’ll definitely be back!

Super pleasant, comfortable environment with good accommodation. Well decorated within Mexican and Latin characteristics. Excellent food, very filling and tasty. The drinks are wonderful and there is a lot of alcohol. Both dishes and drinks have affordable prices. I recommend parrillada for two, although it can feed up to 4 people. street corn is amazing. tuna tacos my favorite. sensational chicken burrito. And their Playlist is very good It is also easy to park, as they have their own parking lot.
