The food and presentation were great. The server was sweet and explained every dish well. The prices are slightly on the higher end, however, it’s a great fine dining experience for once in a while. I’d come again. Taste wise I would rate dishes from great to good in the following order: 1. Salmon 2. Herbed Chicken 3. Duck Breast.

Visited Garlic's of London for lunch. The place was pretty quiet with a nice, relaxing vibe inside. The server was friendly, which made the experience pleasant. I tried the Garlic's burger, which was okay, but nothing special, though still decent. The gnocchi was soft and pillowy, but the flavor wasn't really to my liking—it's heavily mushroom-based, so mushroom lovers might enjoy it more. I wished it had more of a nutty flavor. The pizza, however, was the star of the show. It was genuinely excellent, topped with pesto, arugula, and ham. It was so good that I still miss it! Overall, it was a good place to visit, especially after hearing some positive feedback from others. I think the dinner menu and service might offer a better experience.

We had the sous vide pork belly and the black garlic pasta dish. Both were really good. Pork belly was good perfectly - tender but also the skin was crispy. Pasta had a wonderful combination of flavours without being too overpowering. Also has the honey mead mussels to start that were also amazing. Greats service and the best meal out I have had in a very long time!

We dined in after my daughter’s graduation. Had booked this place through Open Table. We don’t know London well and would never have stumbled upon this place. All I can say is WOW!! The food was outstanding. Real Italian food. The meatballs were delicious and just like an authentic Nonna made them. We also ordered bruschetta and it was delicious. All of our pasta entrees were fabulous. Again I can’t say enough about the food. Great flavours , good sized portions and great presentation. The wine list is outstanding! Our server was friendly attentive and helpful when we couldn’t decide. This is a lively restaurant and if I’m ever in London again I would definitely go back.

our favourite place for Italian food in London! I always get the gnocchi & recommend ordering it with blush/rose sauce! Sometimes it can be a bit loud inside because it’s busy, but there isn’t much they can do about that! It’s a popular spot! Love the indoor/outdoor vibes they have in the summer!

This place did not disappoint !!! A few people have recommended this restaurant and we finally had a chance to visit. The atmosphere was great. Visited around lunch & it wasn’t overly loud, love that the inside opens up onto the patio for that indoor/outdoor feel and aesthetically it’s beautiful. The service was wonderful, Lauren looked after us and she was so friendly and attentive. Food is really good, as an Italian it’s sometimes hard to impress us so Bravo!!! We ordered Aranchini, the Papperdalle and the Pollo Limone. Too bad we were full and couldn’t eat more because every single thing the waitress walked by with looked amazing. We will definitely be back and have to work our way through the menu. Overall a great dining experience. Thank you

I visited the restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious, however, the service was quite slow. I believe they may have been short-staffed in the kitchen. It is unusual to have to pay for parking, but I understand that this is the norm. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the lovely patio.

This has to be my favourite restaurant downtown! The server we had was very optimistic and sweet. Sadly I didn’t get her name. In addition, the strawberry daiquiri was amazing.

Wonderful experience being served by David himself. Very personable & informative. 100% trust in him to choose my meal for me and it did not disappoint. The duck confit was yum after every single bite. Lyonnaise Salad was delightful as well. Also if you like a Manhattan cocktail - they make a mean one!! I recommend!!

We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at David’s Bistro because it’s our favourite restaurant in London. The food is always exceptional and the service is outstanding. The rehearsal dinner met and exceeded our hopes and expectations. Thanks so much to all who made this evening such a special and memorable event.

There are numerous restaurants here in London. But there can only be a top five…. David’s Bistro makes that cut. For the past year, I’ve avoided David’s because I am a picky eater and only enjoy certain ingredients. Right now, their dishes suit my taste. David, the owner, greeted me with warm welcome. We’ve known each other for a while. Like most fine dining establishments, David’s will hang up your coat. After sitting you down, they will bring you as much bread as you want. It IS divine. Their menu includes an impressive array of wine and liqueurs, and several appetizers and entrees each. I ordered two appetizers to start. A duck and pistachio terrine came first. I sliced the terrine and placed it on a grilled baguette along with cognac orange marmalade. The other appetizer was a French onion tart with Marsala braised onions and mornay sauce. The tart was made of puff pastry. My entree was a boar belly on squash risotto with sage, bacon, and Parmesan. The boar was juicy and still tender, giving the perfect texture. Dessert was a dark chocolate marquise. It had hints of orange zest, very much like a Terry’s Chocalate Orange. The inside is classy. On their sound system, they play instrumental jazz. This complements the art-covered walls. Incidentally, servers dress up in business attire. David’s Bistro is and has been a premium restaurant for years. Newspapers and industry experts believe this day and age is the end of fine dining. David’s website acknowledges this, but they don’t plan to stop. Help them prove critics wrong.

Food is amazing here. Many options for different meats. Gluten free buns are available. Shakes are massive and kids love them. Service is a little slow so give yourself some time, but well worth it.

Went there with the woman for my annual birthday meal. Free parking across the street from the restaurant, and as you can see, there is some work being done in the parking garage. The 1st hour is free in the parking garage (I think) Restaurant service was super fast and super friendly as well. We were seated & a few minutes later, we ordered our drinks & appetizers. Drinks were quick and appetizers were about 10 minutes after ordering. Not complaining. We had some great conversations while waiting and just enjoyed the atmosphere. Extremely quiet being it was Monday night. I sadly didn't get our host and server's names, but they were extremely excellent. I highly recommend visiting on the least busier of the days.

The Works offers an exceptional burger experience with a variety of mouthwatering options. The quality of their ingredients shines through in every bite, and their creative toppings make each burger unique. The service is friendly and efficient, making it a great place for a satisfying meal. Highly recommended for burger lovers!

This restaurant is amazing. Family owned and run. The care that is put into the food, decor and ambiance is soul warming. I finally stopped in to have one of my favourite treats and I wasn’t disappointed. Saganaki is one of the Greek staples that is amazing or a bit of a let down. I was fully impressed and loved everything from the lighting of the brandy, to the stretching of the cheese, and to the dipping of the incredibly fresh pita! I sat on the very spacious patio and loved watching all the people traffic. Thank you to Cleopatra who welcomed me to her restaurant like I was family. I’m also looking forward to trying the Sweet Onion Bistro in Byron Village too!

We made a reservation and arrived a bit early and our table was ready. First intro to menu was no salmon, no coleslaw. My husband ordered the Tuna - no tuna. We overheard the table next to us voice complaints that the beer was flat. I got the beet salad which was wet as over dressed. Was hard to enjoy as I could see our waitress eating by the bar and licking her fingers after taking a bite. Calamari was good. The chicken Slovakia was nothing to write home about. Would not return.

The Restaurant is amazing in terms of taste of food, their furniture is outdated specially tables, you can not eat food properly as they are not balanced, table Service is too slow, Ambience is amazing, stewards are very polite and respectful. Parking may be a challenge sometime, but if you love food then this is the place.

The service was friendly and fast, and it was a cute little pub. Very clean and cute decorations. The lunch menu had very few gluten-free options. Their burgers have gluten in the patty (but this information was not available online when I checked beforehand), so I couldn't have a burger, which is usually something you can count on being gluten-free at a pub. I got the spinach with chick pea pancake. It was really good, but not very filling, especially given the price.

Very nice and good place in Downtown London, ON. As a French I'm usually disappointed by food in restaurants in Canada but this one did not. We shared appetizers (pulled pork hush puppies and smoked mushrooms dip) then I got the burger. All were perfectly cooked, savory and with a nice presentation. It will become my go-to place when in London, ON.

Seems like a great place. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish but the vegetable curry was terrible. Sour and bitter. Paid a lot for a dish that I could barely get down. That being said I was with a group of friends and didn’t want to be that person that complained about the meal. Everyone else seemed to enjoy the food. Not sure I would go back unfortunately

Best restaurant in London! We came here for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The food was fresh and locally sourced, and nearly everything we ordered was fantastic. The server was lovely and was quite helpful in choosing the menu. It’s the perfect spot for any celebration. For the first time in London after living here for 4 years, I truly felt like it was worth every penny. Highly recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We got married here this weekend, and it was the most amazing experience. Completely stress free, everything was set up to perfection. The food is out of this world, and the service is just as amazing. Every member of our party was talking about how amazing everything was and how impressed they were. I will recommend The Springs over and over to anyone who asks. Thank you for a perfect day.

I recently played piano at a wedding hosted at this venue and the experience was amazing. The venue is beautiful, creating the perfect setting for an elegant wedding. The staff were professional and very accommodating, making everything run smoothly. I was also treated to the wedding dinner, which was incredible. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, truly impressing both myself and the guests. Overall, The Springs is an excellent choice for any special occasion, offering exceptional service, a stunning setting, and outstanding food. Highly recommended! Went to have one last patio lunch with a friend at the end of October. We had a wonderful lunch. We had a build your own burger and beer salad. Food, service and atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend.

The Bungalow is a locally owned neighborhood restaurant that specializes in Canadian food. The food was tasty and had creative takes on classic dishes. We really enjoyed their smash burger and beef & swiss melt, the fries were really good as well, reminded me of a chip wagon. I thought the thin crust pizza could have been a little thinner and lighter. Service was friendly and efficient, the food came out fairly quickly.

I recently dined at a bungalow restaurant in London, Ontario, and it was a mixed experience. I tried the burger special of the day, which was the lamb burger. Unfortunately, I found the meat to be quite dry, although it was served with a Caesar salad that was decent. I also ordered the haddock and fries, which I upgraded to poutine. The poutine was enjoyable and added a nice touch to the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, but I wish the lamb burger had been more flavorful. Overall, it was an okay dining experience, but there’s room for improvement.

Great atmosphere and delicious food and drink! Food is served tapas style with an assortment of selection. The wait staff is friendly and helpful with answering questions. We went at 9pm and a few items were sold out such as the octopus and bison skirt steak. We loved the braised beef cheek and duck dumplings — highly recommend! The drinks are hand crafted with care and take a little bit to come out, as well as the food. The roast bone marrow was also fantastic, although one of ours didn’t have much marrow in it, unfortunately. The staff was prompt to try to resolve even though we were just wanting to make them aware of it. We appreciated that :) Overall, it was an awesome dining experience and we would come back again. We would recommend this place to others. There is street parking or paid lots around the block. They can accommodate dietary restrictions.

Went for dinner for retirement celebration, ordered the fish tacos (small plate), they were very good, if you like garlic.. it could have toned it done a bit for my liking. Our waiter was very knowlegable about the menu and their craft beer selections. I'm not a craft beer drinker but did enjoy his suggestion. The atmosphere was welcoming with many hanging lights... however, I would bring a sweater next time as the temperature was a bit cool.

We had an excellent experience at Ironwood Kitchen & Bar to celebrate my birthday. The staff was extremely kind, friendly and efficient. We went on a Thursday and we both got the steak special - it was delicious! The birthday cake treat + little sign on the table was such a sweet surprise. We can't wait to come back to try out more dishes on the menu!

Great food and service. Tables and booths as usual. Slightly pricier than the average State&Main or Milestones but also has more variation to offer. I ordered the Jerk chicken and didn't know what to expect. I got a very tasty and nicely spiced chicken breast (multiple pieces) with accompanying veges etc. Highly recommended. And to finish off, the carrot cake was awesome. Go try it!

I really enjoyed the taste and cooking of the steak, their special food of the day was great. The drinks and desserts were also great. We always go there on special occasions. I found it pricey but no complaints with respect to service or quality.

This is another nice restaurant in downtown. Spacious from the inside. Servers are good and attentive. Food is pricey but very okish taste. Nothing special they have, did not like any of the dishes that I ordered The taste is not mesmerizing or tasteful enough to enjoy any dish that's what I felt. Quantity is fine on the other hand. Cleanliness needs to be focused on Table glasses were not clean, cutlery was not clean. Overall I didn't quite like this place as opposed to the hype it had. So so experience.

First timer. Went there for wedding anniversary based on Google reviews. We weren’t disappointed. Excellent service. Food was absolutely splendid, off the charts. Our server Nanette (?) was very attentive to our needs. A bit noisy closer to the bar but we tolerated it well. We had coconut shrimp and crab cakes for appetizers with rack of lamb and grilled ribeye for entree’s. I highly recommend this establishment. If you’re looking for a (really) quiet evening with your date this might not work for you.

Since this place was voted the best restaurant in London on Tripadvisor for 2023, my girlfriend and I decided we couldn't miss it. It's a cozy little bistro (though we skipped the booze because it was lunchtime). We ordered a burger and fish, and OH MY GOD! Their fries were absolutely out of this world! The buttery flavor was unreal-definitely not your average fries. Our server, John, was an absolute legend! He kindly walked us through the menu and checked in on us, making sure everything was perfect. Honestly, it was such a joyful dining experience. And then John went above and beyond-he surprised us with a dessert, complete with sparklers! It made our day! John, if you're reading this, a huge THANK YOU for giving me and my girlfriend such an unforgettable birthday memory!

I ordered the escargot to start and was shocked when it arrived. There were so many escargot in this appetizer!! I counted ten, and i was already halfway through. It was so delicious and soooooo cheesy!! The garlic toast was thick, but very light and airy, garlicy but not greasy, and was grilled beautifully. My butternut squash ravioli with half cheese and half tomato sauce with a nice drizzling of basil oil. The cheese portion was phenomenal, and it was soo good all mixed together.

Enjoyed a phenomenal short rib poutine with my Fiancee as our appetizer, and the Famous "Pasta bar" (for her) and "Surf and Turf" (for myself) Never have I experienced such great service and food and everything else in between. Would highly recommend to everyone i come across. The owner Mark made my fiancees birthday very memorable with his exquisite staff fantastic food and little birthday treats!

Great authentic Polish food (I would know). Great price, fresh ingredients, made from scratch and available for lunch on skip. A much healthier option to feed the kids on those days that cooking is just not an option. Order before 3pm. Did I mention they bake all their own cakes, and have a proper espresso machine? Now open on Saturday from 10-3pm.

Went to Unique Food Attitudes on a lunch time food crawl. We were hitting up 3 other spots so we just ordered an order of perogies to share with a latte to drink. Service was friendly and prompt. Coffee was perfect. Perogies were great, onions and bacon with sour cream. Tender insides and slightly crisp exterior. Prices are very reasonable. Would recommend and return to explore more of the menu in the future.

It's absolutely beautiful ELEGANT and extraordinary original food serving as a high-class art on the plate. Delicious and unexpensive. Healthy food and desserts If you love yourself, you just need to try. You will never regret it.

Moxies food is always delicious and their drinks are top notch. The patio is lovely in the summer. The indoor seating is a bit of a maze but has a nice ambiance to it. Moxies isn’t typically super busy so getting a table/reservation isn’t too challenging. Will definitely be back!

What a great place for a romantic date. Beautiful patio, with a bar outside that gently lights up the patio. We started with the chicken wings which were crispy and delicious 9 out of 10! The calamari was next a solid 6 out of 10. I got the New York steak and fries 8/10! Chicken Madeira Rigatoni was exquisite and strongly recommend to all 9/10!! Try the CocoRita 818 cocktail (Kendall Jenners tequila ) 7/10. Enjoy!! Service was amazing

Always a good experience eating here! I love the ambiance and the food. The service is excellent and the staff has a way of making all their guests feeling welcome- something very few places are able to do.
