Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Lamont – 2024

Found this little gem for breakfast this morning after visiting Elk Island. The food was so good, made fresh. Great portions for the price. Very quiet and cozy atmosphere. Totally recommend

I felt the food was ok, but not great. We weren’t asked how we liked our eggs Benedict and they were a bit overdone. There are cameras watching your every move.

Food was super good, We got “spinach eggs Benedict” and “Shefs Mistake” and the coffee was good.

Nice little town with a health care centre, pizza place and a Chinese restaurant.

Super nice staff, fast service, good prices, big portions of food and everything was really good. Combo 6 - wonton soup, fried rice, lemon chicken, shrimp. Combo 5 - fried rice, ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, sweet and sour chicken balls.

The service was very attentive and they accomodated my friends allergy that we forgot to mention before we had ordered. They were very understanding. The food was made quickly, tasted good and had almost too much to eat in one sitting. All in all I would definitely come back for their great service and food. Thank you guys again!

We were just passing through town, never been here before. It was excellent food and very friendly excellent service from the staff. Even the kids ate everything and said it was very good. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Wish we lived closer but will stop in when possible.

Great place to dine in Lamont, generous portions and delicious food with lots of flavour.

Hit and miss. I have had excellent food a few times, other times not. No consistency between the cooks.

The worst meal we ever had at parkview! I ordered take out and they said 20 min, I told them I would be there 20-25 minutes. I was on time. The food was in a bag at the till. The food was cold and absolutely no flavor! The chop suey was pretty much entirely bean sprouts and the beef was like it was boiled. Nothing had any flavor at all! Spent $95.00 for the worst Chinese food we have ever tasted! We have enjoyed the food there many times but not today. Drove in from Bruderheim because ours is closed on Mondays. We won't be going back. Very disappointed! I don't know why the reviews make you give at least one star, It definitely didn't deserve one star!

Used to be a happening place just a few years back before Trudeau. Had a lot of fun however, as with most small towns, this industry has taken a hard hit.

Really cool place with alot of potential , food was great and Jodie the bar manager was super friendly

Every time we head to Elk Island for a hike or camping we make sure to stop by Gondola pizza and steak in Lamont for a tasty pizza. I’ve also had the turkey dinner at Thanksgiving which was so good. The club and fries is also good and the Ruben again good. I’ve never had a disappointing meal here and the Chefs and staff are always a pleasure to talk with.

Wanted to give Sham (the owner and chief) a huge shout out. He catered our wedding and the food was incredible. So many guest told us that the meal was wonderful and some of the best food at a wedding they had. He did a phenomenal job and we were so happy we picked him to cater.

I shared an all meat pizza with my bud. The pizza was good though I'm not a full crust fan. Service was a bit slow but the waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was pleasant. They did have one tv with sports on with the sound off. This was fine as I didn't need to hear the commentary. Overall a nice lunch and a pleasant stop after visiting Elk Island National Park.

The people were SUPER nice and the food is good! Omg I could not stop eating those spicy fries! I recommend ordering in advance if you don’t wanna wait cuz everything is made fresh.

Food was ok. Seemed to be over priced for the food we received. Food was not really prepared as advertised. For example we ordered a grilled ham and cheese, and it came out as a toasted ham and cheese. The sandwich was cold, the cheese was not melted. Maybe the only fast food place in Lamont so your choices are limited.

I have been here a couple of times now on my wat through. I would not recommend this restaurant on any level. The burger bun was soft, not toasted. The burger was tasteless. The cheese is processed. The red sauce was gross. I recommend the owner operator for this Burger Baron to toast the buns, make burgers from scratch, use cheddar cheese, ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise, fresh cut onion slices. Fresh cut potatoes for fries unsalted. These changes would make this the Burger Baron to go to. Meantime, I won't be back

Nice little small bar, Not to much seating, but it's a small town amd reminded me of the good Ole days, small and cozy. I took out wings tonight 20 wings at .75 cents each can't be beat. Wings were normal sized and cooked and seasoned exactly the way I like them ! I will def be back for wings and free daily pool next time my wife and I go golfing for date day. Honestly it's not often I find good wings, and this is def a nice little hidden gem!

Excellent bar tender with a surprising variety of drink specials. The space is neat but it isn't much of a party location. Without conversation it was surprisingly quiet. A good soundsystem would definitely round this pub out nicely.

It was a nice quiet lil spot to have a cold beer after work. Nice atmosphere and great food. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in town working or even just driving through.
