Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Lahaina – 2024

We are so pleased with this place in every aspect possible. Food outstanding...service amazing. Shawn, Emily and Liza were the best. If you are looking for the best happy hour on the island look no farther this is IT!!! We had this place recommended to us by one of our dearest friends Cathy and Chris and now want to share the joy with you all!!!

We spent the day at Napili bay beach and enjoyed being able to walk up for happy hour. Good prices but small plates. Drinks were good but the view and convenience from the beach is what makes this!

Food is delicious, but we received the worst service from Ashleigh. The man providing water and bread outside on 7/7/24 was great. He was the only person who made sure we had drink refills (after) we had to wave him down. She would disappear and never once asked if we needed anything. She only cared about bringing our check to my husband. Disappointing. She changed her attitude when I addressed that we had been without drink most of our dinner.

Beautiful restaurant, service second to none, our waiter was exceptional. The kitchen is letting the team down at the moment. Food is okay, nothing is really worth the price tag. Fish could have been fresher, everything needed seasoning, everything needs to be hotter as it’s coming out of the kitchen cold. You’re paying for the view here, not the food. We were grateful for my Mums birthday touch.

Reservation is needed for this place and we reserved this place few months before we know we are going to Maui to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant location is awesome with amazing sunset view. It has a unique huge deck and it's close to the ocean. You can hear the waves while sipping drinks. Mai Tai is a must order. We ordered Merriman's salad to share, Harissa-spiced diver sea scallops and clams (replaced by prawns due to out of claim and Macadamia nut crusted fresh catch (Mahi Mahi) They gave us honey bread to start which is soft and tasty. The salad has fresh ingredients. The fish are moist and juicy. The scallops are to die for. I am not a fan of gnocchi but it was slightly seared with a crunchy outside but soft inside. It's a perfect texture and I finished all gnocchi at the end. We finished off our dinner with chocolate espresso creme brulee. They gave us ice cream and macadamia nut tart as our anniversary dessert. The tart is surprisingly very delicious. This is a high end expensive restaurant but we are glad that we celebrated our anniversary in such a unique location, excellent service and quality of food. A must try once in your life.

Great place! Start at the point for a cocktail and then enjoy dinner in a cool relaxed open air restaurant with views everywhere. While pricey the food was excellent and you can taste the local sourcing. We will be back.

Words can't express this place, but we will try! The staff is exceptional, I made a small mention of it being our anniversary when making the reservation and they showed us a wonderful time. Each if the staff that worked with us made sure to acknowledge that and wish us a happy anniversary! Then they gave us a champaign toast on the house! Then the food we ordered was great! The fresh fish was cooked to perfection . We had calamari and the fresh fish. And the little part about the atmosphere! What a great quaint place with the perfect view at a wonderful location. We were so happy with everything we went back for breakfast a couple of days later. Definitely a highlight of our Maui trip!

We were greeted by a charming young lady and ushered to our ocean side table. We selected items on the brunch menu. Basic Mala breakfast and guacamole toast were selected along with OJ mimosas. Food was delivered hot as expected. As for the atmosphere how much better can it get.

This was a great dinner spot. The views and open air seating is perfect! They are right on the ocean, so the sounds and sunsets are gorgeous. Service was a little slow, but they were very busy.

Wonderful place to sit down for dinner, enjoy good food and drinks AND a marvelous sunset. It is best to make reservations maybe an hour or more before sunset since the window tables might not be available later on. We had their macadamia nut hummus with seasonal vegetables, which was delicious. For main, got two of their fish dishes (parmesan crusted and herb crusted fish). Both were really good, although the herb crusted fish’s sauce was a bit too sweet. We also got their hula pie which was indulgent and so exciting.

Leilani’s in Maui was fantastic! We sat in the open-air dining area with a beautiful beach view—definitely a must for the vibe alone. I had the Tristan Lobster Tails, perfectly seasoned and buttery with fresh local veggies on the side—so delicious! My husband’s Grilled Filet Mignon was tender and came with amazing bacon mashed potatoes, while our daughter enjoyed a classic cheeseburger and fries. Our drinks were just as refreshing—a guava daiquiri for me, a tropical smoothie for him, and a Coke for our daughter. Highly recommend this place! Be sure to make a reservation.

Good selection of food and seemed relatively healthy and innovative. However, the flavor was lacking on the farro salad and the ceviche is nothing to write home about. The salad had a butt of the lettuce head… for a restaurant of this caliber, this is pretty unappealing. The pork sandwich was tasty and fires crispy. Service was pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere was really nice! Good music.

A bit too crowded for our liking, but overall it was fun. The food was very good and worth the visit. The live music was a great touch. The views were fantastic. A lot of day trip excursion boats come and go from this beach making for some neat entertainment. Our server was absolutely amazing and took very good care of us.

Overall we had a great experience. I ordered the coconut seafood chowder which was a large portion and was able to bring leftovers home for the next day. It was definitely a culinary experience! Very unique flavors but if you love coconut you should definitely try it! Our server was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and we feel like we had great service. The music was the perfect volume, we were still able to visit and hear each other. The only downside was the food was a little over priced and it was overcrowded with little room to move between tables.

Hula Grill and Bar proved to be the perfect choice for our first meal in Maui. Their spicy margarita was exceptional - one of the best I've had in recent memory. We ordered the fish tacos while my husband went with the fish and chips. The fish in both dishes was remarkably fresh, a testament to their quality ingredients. The attentive service and breathtaking ocean views made our dining experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Maui!

The fish sandwich and fries was a good portion. The bread was perfectly toasted on the inside and side on the out. Food had good flavor. The server was nice and knowable of the menu. I was disappointed in the coconut banana cream pie. It was banana slices made on the crest with a bunch of cream shredded coconuts. It just tasted like one you could by out of any store.for the price I thought it would be better. The chocolate dessert was good. My husband enjoyed his ocean front Arnold Palmer.

Right at the edge of the ocean, with beautiful views of parked yachts and the island next door. We had a shrimp cocktail, octopus, kale salad and fish and chips split for 2 adults and a kid and it was a lot of food. Everything was done perfectly and it was tasty, with a decent selection of wines to compliment the food (if you are getting a bottle, Kistler Chardonnay is amazing). The service was great, the owner stopped by to chat with customers too (ask them about the big waves that crashed into the restaurant Jul/'22). Great experience and will definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing. My family ate here for a late lunch and it was wonderful. The fish and chips were ahi tuna and the truffle fries were fantastic. Every single thing my family had was finished. The seafood pasta, fish sandwich, and dessert were spectacular. Worth every penny. Excellent customer service as well!! Will definitely be coming back

Made reservations 3 weeks in advance, and arrived right before 4 and was seated right before our reservation time. The hostess was polite and our waitress was fantastic. Keeley really brought excellent service to our birthday dinner celebration. We ordered drinks, appetizers dinner and dessert and had no complaints on any of it. The espresso martini is fantastic in a mild coconut flavor, the coconut shrimp and salads were delicious. We ordered the tacos, the ahi steak, the risotto and the fish if the day. We were all eating off of each others plates and excited to try it all. I said if dinner was good, we will try for breakfast, ill update if we decide to try.

I recently had a delightful lunch with friends at Duke’s, and I must say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We settled into a cozy spot, and right away the good vibes were palpable; the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, making it an ideal place for a casual meal.
