Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in LaGrange – 2024

We found this place while leaving Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange because their food onsite is subpar and I’m so happy I listened to the reviews. From the parking to the friendliness to the whole experience of going down the line to create your pizza was fantastic. It was love at first sight. They gave my son some dough to play with as they created our delicious pizza. So many options and toppings I wish I didn’t live over an hour away. The mango gelato was the best I’ve had. They give a lot of food for the price and can’t wait to try other items besides pizza. The hot honey was a great touch. The wine was also tasty and I loved the decor as well as the seating. I will definitely be back.

Oh my God I cannot explain how much I love this place! Our first vist was so nice! The workers were so polite and gave amazing suggestions for our pizzas! The atmosphere is so kind and bubbily. If you want a great dinner with your family, THIS is the place!!!

Yay for Vegan and gluten free options! I have enjoyed the vegan cheese and plant based meat available to create my own vegan pizza. It’s also great to have a gluten free and vegan pizza crust to order for my son with food allergies. Plus, the pizza is so good and I love the soft, slightly charred crust! Thank you Your Pie

This place is fantastic! I was so excited to find such an authentic Korean restaurant in a quiet town like LaGrange, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The decor made me feel like I was right back in Korea and I got to practice some Korean conversation which was so fun after a long time of not using it. I had the kimchi jjigae which was delicious and the banchan were great as well. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes!

Very authentic Korean food. Very surprised finding this gem in this town. Ordered seafood pancake and seafood hot pot, better than most Korean restaurants we tried in Atalanta (Duluth) in our three years living there.

We have enjoyed eating here multiple times. My daughters and myself love real Korean food and we travel out of town for it also… This restaurant is so good , fresh, hot and friendly staff!!!

We stopped here for lunch today while on a road trip. This place caught our eye from the positive reviews and we were absolutely not disappointed!! The boneless wings were phenomenal. They did not skimp on the sauce which is always appreciated. The fries were super crispy and delicious. We got the spicy bbq wings which were so so good. The service was quick and the seating was very comfortable. We will certainly be stopping in here again soon.

Visited for the first time on a whim and was so glad we did. Great service from the time we walked in till the time we left. Delicious food and great portions. Some of the best fried pickles and fried okra I've ever had! We'll be back for sure.

Very friendly, courteous, and upbeat staff. Food was GREAT...we had fried jalapenos, pig skins, fried catfish, BLT sandwich, ribs, and wings. All were cooked correctly and fresh. It was a clean and inviting environment.

As I sat down for my meal, I couldn't help but notice the impeccable service that surrounded me. It was as if an army of highly trained hospitality ninjas were waiting on me hand and foot, anticipating my every need before I even knew I had it. And let's not forget the piece de resistance - the red snapper. Mamma mia, it was like a taste explosion in my mouth!

The food was very good! The service was good and the servers were very nice. The menu is nothing like online, though. It is 2 pages, front only on clip boards. One page is dinner meals, and one page is lunch meals. There are set sides for all meals. The dinner meals get mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (broccoli, squash, and zucchini) and a salad. The lunches sides are fries and slaw.

The food is wonderful! I had the fried shrimp and it was the best I’ve had in a while. It was lightly breaded so you could taste the shrimp. The crab cakes are also really good. I Highly recommend The Cart Barn.

Great food! Loved everything I ate and drank. Shame the bottomless drink wasn't refilled, even after asking three times. Service was slow and server inattentive (and not just our table).

The corn muffins were white! Didn’t appear to be done. I ordered curbside service so I had to take them home and put them in the oven. Making me late for my event!

Ordered curbside and didn’t receive everything ordered. Beans and greens should have onions, relish, and cornbread. No onions. No cornbread. Ordered 2 extra relish and didn’t get them. Ordered 2 pepper sauce and got syrup. Chicken Fried Chicken didn’t have gravy and the bread was missing. Ordered utensils… didn’t get them. Ordered napkins… didn’t get them. I did get plenty of butter, but no bread to spread it on. Sadly, I was very disappointed with curbside service. Not getting everything ordered made the meals less enjoyable.

The food was wonderful and the service was genuine. Very glad I was able to try this restaurant out. If you're in the area it is a welcome to the south style country cooking. Lots of love and thought put into each item we ate. Very affordable as well.

Unique, charming restaurant in La Grange. Definitely a wonderful experience with wonderful food and wonderful service. Would recommend to anyone who is in the area as it is a quaint, historic location. Delicious comfort food like someone’s grandma or mom made it, served on plates you’d eat off of at someone’s home. Will be back again.

My first time dining here. I walked in and sat on a bench waiting for my friend, no one asked if i needed to be seated or anything. I went to the cashier and asked should i just sit anywhere? She apologized and got me a waiter. He was attentive and friendly, gave his opinions and suggestions which was helpful. Ordered salmon croquettes, Mac n cheese, peas and yams. It came hot and portion size was ok. It was on the bland side for my taste but tasted fresh. Overall good experience and I'll be back to try something else from the menu.

Very underwhelming. For starters we waited 30 minutes for drinks, another 30 for bread and for our order to be take. Wife’s cocktail was tiny and not good for $14. I ordered the lump crab and avocado, wife had a ceaser salad as appetizers. My crab was a small golf ball sized lump of cold flavorless crab, with a sliced avocado covering it. Expected much more for $20. My wife’s salad was decent. Our entrees came out and were very good. I had the butter poached lobster and it was incredibly tender, sides were very well seasoned and cooked right just cold by time they made it. My wife’s filet was great, as were the sides… COLD sides though. All were good, just cold. All in all I think they’re trying too hard to be fancy. It’s a nice place, and I like the small simple menu but it just wasn’t worth the $180 I spent on dinner. Won’t be back. Extra points for the delicious cold Michelobs I guess. Waited so long I had time to drink 6 and every one was as tasty as the first one

We visited a weekend from Huntsville Alabama and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Our server was top notch! My dry aged NY strip was perfect and every other course was excellent. Best dining experience I've had in a while. Huntsville needs something like this.

I took my aunt to dinner tonight and, after several attempts, our meal just never met our expectation. We ordered the short rib and the filet - medium rare. The steak was overcooked, my potatoes were cold, the sweet potatoe hash left much to be desired. The short rib was stuffed inside of pasta, which the waitress should have mentioned since we asked several questions about the preparation of this dish. She didn’t know the menu and she clearly didn’t understand how the dish was served. The Brussels sprouts were great; we were happy to have something we could eat. After spending 2 hrs trying to receive a meal prepared properly, we still spent $77 and needed to buy food at another restaurant in town. We were so disappointed.

We went on a Monday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch. We got a slice of the pizza of the day which was delicious and a generous serving. We also got an order of wings that were half price at that time. The wings were crispy and tasty and certainly worth the full price. We had great service. Finally, I enjoyed being able to color on the table cover!!

This place is amazing. From the service to the food it was so good. They have draft and bottle beer. Some of the best pizza around. The fried pickles are not like any I've ever had, they were so so so good. Thank you Karvelas. You treated these out of town folks good. Oh and we got plenty to take back to the room.

I ordered the pizza slice called Green Wave which was delicious. They have a different pizza every day between 12-4p where you can just get one slice. I got the second hottest wings which I would consider mild as there was no kick at all. The wings tasted good though. We ordered 2 salads but returned one as it was so wet. They apologized and took it off the bill as we did not want another one. I liked the interior and our Host Linda was very nice and our Server Kylie was wonderful.

Service is always fast and friendly. Food is consistently good. Burgers and buns are popular for being soft (I think they steam their buns.) Hotdogs are pork FYI

Step back in time? Yea, thank you very much I think I will! Loved this little gem in downtown LaGrange. The hot dogs are excellent, reasonably priced (imagine that!!) and the atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic. By cozy, I mean it’s small. Sit at the counter if you can or in one of the small 2-toppers beside the bar. How rare to find a family run restaurant that has been in business for over 100 years. I dare say not much has changed-and that’s a good thing. We had the slaw dog and the kraut dog and highly recommend both. If you are in the area as stop here is a “must-do”.

I found this beautiful little hamburger shop through the scent of fresh cooking onions and beef waffling through the streets of downtown LaGrange while on early morning visit to iLaGrange Georgia. The shop is reminiscent of something you would have seen in the 50s or early 60s. They have been in business at that location since the 40s. It was the BEST tasting hamburger I've ever had and I can't believe they're open at 9:00am and yes people were buying hamburgers. My wife and I sat inside, the staff was professional, polite and friendly. I can't stress how friendly they were. I have no pictures of my hamburgers as I wolfed them down so quickly that there was no time to waste on a photo. I wish I lived closer I would revisit this place over and over again.

Beautiful little Italian Restaurant tucked into a storefront on Main Street. Delicious food and wine. Excellent service. Would have given 5 stars but my shrimp were over cooked. The scallops were perfectly cooked, not tough or gritty. My husband’s lamb chops and scallops were excellent.

Delicious and large portions, an easy introduction to Italian cuisine. Delicious bread, olive oil, pastas and sauces. I especially enjoyed their Alfredo sauce. My only complaint is that the atmosphere is too dark for my subjective taste.

I didn't know what to expect trying this little Italian restaurant in Lagrange tonight. The outside has super cute tables with overhead lighting. When you walk in, it has an Italian feel to it, but could use a little face-lift on decor, lighting and overall ambiance inside. The staff were all incredible. Super friendly, interactive and helpful. Our food had a runny look to it, BUT the flavor. OH MY GAWTT the flavor! I got the Chicken Marsala with Mashed Potatoes and my husband got the Shrimp & Scallops in the Vodka Sauce(instead of the white wine sauce) and wow. Just wow. My husband said it was the best scallops he's had anywhere, cooked to perfection. My Marsala sauce was absolutely perfect with the chicken lightly seared, giving it a nice crisp. Truly delicious flavors that we'll be talking about for some time. Thank you Venucci -xo

Did not know the area so took a chance on 505 Eats. Turns out it is attached to a mini mart at a gas station which was disappointing since it was a birthday lunch. Aside from that, the veggie bowl I had was awesome and filled with all kinds of flavors. My husband said his Ruben sandwich was also so good! It was kinda noisy despite the lack of patrons but the food made up for it.

i eat here all the time, best place to eat in lagrange hands down! the specials every week are always creative and interesting. food always looks and tastes amazing, you can tell they care about the food and the customers. lots of different options for different dietary needs. can’t recommend it enough!!

The Brussel sprouts were the best. French onion soup was warm but not piping hot like one expects when you get soup on a cold night. The chicken on top of the tortellini was great. The tortellini tasted like it came from aldi’s. The Alfredo sauce was watery. That’s the first time I’ve ever had watery Alfredo. There were chunks of mozzarella with scattered Parmesan cheese on top. The steak salad was served cold and the dressing was definitely unusual. The atmosphere and service was great! Our waitress really was kind and knowledgeable!

Food was really good, great atmosphere, friendly staff! Definitely worth trying out! Update: My apologies, I was unaware of the basque cheesecake as my company was the one who ordered it. I should have clarified, and I will add that we finished the entire dish. I'm changing my rating! Thank you for clarifying, and I look forward to my future visits!

Food was delish! Had the trio dip and the pork rinds as an appetizer. Burger for lunch and it was tasty! Unfortunately the service wasn’t very great. They weren’t very attentive and didn’t look happy to be there. On top of that, the servers were sitting at a booth in the dining room on their phones instead of being attentive to their tables. I don’t know if it was an off day for the wait staff but it just looked like no one wanted to be working that day.

Kaly was pur server. She was super friendly and quick server. She could tell we were hungry and had us eating in a few minutes. She interacted well with my wolf pack. It was a great meal and experience. Steaks cooked perfectly

What can I say? My 9oz Flo’s Filet was cooked to perfection!! The cook here definitely knew what Pittsburgh rare was and did a fantastic job! The asparagus I had was spot on! It was slender, small, tender pieces. My husband’s steak, same as mine, was also cooked just the way he wanted! We were here on Tuesday evening around 1730pm. Our server, Christie W. was also fantastic! She even started us out with a little entertainment ! She was super friendly and very attentive! She put our order in just like we ordered it and that’s what we got. Definitely worth a visit!!

Family dinner was good despite the dirty table with a tone of food under it. (they were busy) and it took the the waitress was to long to bring us our dranks. I would definitely go here again just for the food. Steak,shimp,steamed veggies and Mac and cheese was all amazing.

The food is amazing! One of the best food places in Lagrange. Our server, Shaun, was very kind and really went above and beyond with his service and friendliness. I got the soondubu and my boyfriend got the bimbimbap. The soondubu was spicy and hearty and had an amazing flavor. The bimbimbap was tasty and all the ingredients blended well together, especially with the sweet and spicy sauce. All of the banchan is worth a try, even if you're nervous to try it. I was hesitant to try the apple salad but the flavor was amazing and the dressing paired perfectly with the crisp apples. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good place to eat and relax.

I don't go by other reviews, I have to see for myself and I have to say I felt invisible for the first time at a Korean restaurant. The person who finally came and took my order did apologized that I had to wait so long. I didn't get exactly what I ordered, but the food was good. No one came back to ask if I needed more side dishes or tea or even if I was enjoying the food. I'm really not use the that. My stars reflect good food not so much good service.

Driving back to Texas and stopped in the area for the night. Was originally going to opt for fast food but saw this place and ordered take out since we love Korean food. The food was way beyond our expectations. We got japchae and a small order of beef bulgogi (which was huge!) They included so many side dishes, soup and rice. The price was very reasonable too. My husband and I ate everything and loved every bit of it. Thank you.

First things first… a $12 beer flight, with 4 - 10oz beers is an automatic take my money. And the fact they have so many craft beers on tap makes this a definite return for me. The food? Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh and quickly, even though they had a full house. I had the Fried Green Tomato BLT, and the wife had a Caesar salad with cup of loaded baked potato soup. The BLT was fantastic! My wife said the soup was fantastic as well. As for the salad, it was served with cold lettuce, the way a salad is supposed to be served! We will be returning soon, even though we live 45 minutes away! Kudos to the staff, management and ownership for such a great little restaurant.

1st time here, a very cute place. We sat at the bar, Abby was the bartender. Very sweet and helpful when ordering. We ordered the spinach dip and the chicken salad. It comes fried but I ordered it grilled. Their homemade balsamic dressing was very good. We will be back soon

Along for the adventure with a high school team preparing for a National Event the next day, we came to Brickhouse with a large group of teens and adults. Reservations were simple, and the space provided was perfect with roll-up garage doors opening onto the patio. The staff was friendly, organized, and prepared for the evening. Burgers, sandwiches, dips, nachos, and wings all hold down a strong menu with flavors to fit your mood. Salads and soups for a lighter option and comfort. Every plate the staff brought was well presented and plated. Maybe it's a room full of hungry athlete teenagers, but hardly a crumb was left behind, so it seems Brickhouse served up a great meal. Go, Check it out. Brickhouse was a fantastic option for our group and could cute for watching games with friends, date nights, or casual dinner with friends.
