A not-so-hidden gem on I-35, this place has great food, but boasts a charming atmosphere and amazing service. I made reservations for brunch with my family. While I have ordered menu items for delivery, we took advantage of the buffet. It showcased a hybrid of traditional brunch dishes like pancakes and french toast and TexMex cuisine such as enchiladas, tamales, and migas. Although the food is pricey, quality makes it worth the money. The server, Michael, was excellent! He accommodated our party with a good sense of humor and was very courteous. The bar appears to be a sports fan's dream displaying college football games from end to end. This would be a great spot to watch the national championship or Superbowl. Finally, I was greeted by the owner, Randy Cohen and his family, who had just finished a meal. He seemed genuinely interested in my experience at his restaurant and was open to feedback. I highly recommend anyone take the opportunity to dine at this wonderful, family -friendly establishment. You will not be disappointed.

Firstly, is the food edible? Yes. It has a unique twist to my typical Mexican or Texan food. Don’t go here and assume this is what Mexican food tastes like. First off, my tortilla soup. It tasted great, for mole sauce rather than tortilla soup. It was the taste, consistency, and color of mole. It had very little shredded chicken. The beef fajitas were not as tender as we’ d like them to be; however, they had good flavor. The presentation of all the dishes was superb. The server went the extra mile to ensure that our large party was comfortable, satisfied, and content. This is a large establishment that is capable of fitting large parties. Will we come back? No.

We had a great time at Z Tejas! We got to experience a Pokémon event with a delicious dinner and drinks. Mike gave us great customer service. Cris was very welcoming and kind when visiting this establishment.

Thank y'all so much for offering holiday meals this year at Thanksgiving. It really is a blessing this year and takes the stress out of all the cooking. Our family really appreciates it and our curbside delivery person was amazing! They greeted us with a smile and helped load it all in the van. Really hope y'all offer this for Christmas and next Thanksgiving! We are thankful for Willie's!!

Seafood platter was bland with no flavor. Plus small portions for the prices, normally won't be and issue with me if the food was flavorful and good. Appetizer platter was decent. Overall place is ok but kinda pricey for what you get.

I really wanted to like this place as the service and atmosphere gave me really good vibes, but the meal was subpar to put it mildly.the wings that I had ordered were bland and everything else was burnt to the point of being inedible. It was truly a disappointing visit, despite the excellent bartending service

I was a little hesitant to visit after reading some negative reviews online. Glad I decided to come anyway. The food was excellent, we tried several different sauces and rubs--all excellent. The service was excellent too. The regulars and staff made us feel welcomed and greeted us as we walked in. The game was on several TVs. Mike was working the bar and served us at our table. The entire Wicked Wings team did a great job all around. I highly recommend Wicked Wings and we will be back.

The bartender was super sweet. I give her full marks and have nothing but compliments for her As for the rest of the place, I can't really say. I walked in earlier today and there were all of 4 other people in there. I placed an order of 12 wings and onion rings. Over 30 minutes later*, I still hadn't seen my food. I asked the bartender about my food, she checked with the kitchen, and I was informed it would be a few more minutes. I decided to walk out, because it's obvious whoever is in charge of the kitchen just doesn't care. An average wing will cook from frozen to done in 15 minutes if your oil is 375 F. There are absolutely no excuses for that kind of delay when there was only one order in front of me I was in the area because someone strongly recommended the pho place nearby, but I didn't know they're closed on Wednesday. Wicked Wings had the opportunity to earn some unexpected business, but instead decided to let out a wet fart.

We used this location to cater for our wedding, the team did an awesome job! Edith was professional, Natalie added another depth of friendliness and reassurance that the team would be ready for our big day. The team showed up on time and was ready to serve our guests on schedule. I didn't get the pleasure of meeting the team that day, so I want to take the time now to write this review and thank everyone for helping make dinner possible and delicious for our wedding! The food was great, received a lot of compliments from our guests. We ordered the combination fajitas. Natalie & Edith are helpful and patient with answering any questions. Aside from catering, have been to this location a few times for dine-in and also have great experiences when we go. Their chips & salsa is always something to look forward to here. I'm not sure if we got any pics of the actual setup, their video on the website is a realistic representation - very organized and accommodating. If we have any pics, will try to update with this post. :) Thank you again Texican, we're looking forward to future visits!

Love coming to our local favorite Mexican restaurant! We love coming here after a long walk. Their drinks always hit the spot! The food is always satisfying. Ask for Jackie when you come. She always makes the BEST cocktails and provides the best customer service! Thanks Jackie!!!!!

First time here and it was so nice. I loved the interior atmosphere. Everyone that helped us had awesome service. The waitress was super sweet. The food was good, but the chips and salsa were amazing. We'll probably come back often.

I have so many favorite dishes from here! Right now, in the picture, is Pad Thai—I always ask to remove the tofu and get extra chicken. It’s so tasty and my favorite to take home. I’ve tried their curry and sushi, and they never disappoint! For appetizers, the Chicken Satay is my favorite. The only thing that disappointed me was the Fresh Spring Rolls—they don’t come with shrimp, and they won’t add it even if you ask. The Steamed Dumplings are $8 for just 4, which feels a bit overpriced to me. But the place is VERY CLEAN, and the atmosphere is so CUTE! The AC inside might be a little cold, so I’d recommend bringing a coat. They also have a great selection of beers, similar to what you’d find in Asia, which reminds me of my travels there. The staff are SO NICE—polite and respectful! I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Thai food is always as specialty to us. Someone recommended this place for its fresh ingredients and complex flavors. The presentation of the plates was original and the seasoning was unique. This food pairs hot spices and sweet and light citrus flavors masterfully. To me it’s important that the food is served warm and that it stays warm throughout our meal. I was not disappointed. In reference to the restaurant, I found the decorations to be very attractive resembling Asian culture. The collection of Lucky elephants on the shelves call your attention. I must mention that I was somehow impacted by the choice of furniture for the place. There is a formal cloth napkin setting on the table, however, the simple tubular chairs take away the refinement of the place. The staff was friendly and prompt with the service. We appreciated the calm atmosphere and soft music in the background, appropriate for conversations. Parking was very accessible and access to the location was also easy. Most definitely, we will get back to try out some of the extensive number of dishes in the menu and learn more about this type of food.

Get to this place as fast as you can! Absolutely phenomenal! Great portions, great customer service, great flavor. I personally like super spicy food so I get a 4-5 here. The spice level here is a little low compared to other Thai food places but given their location and their customer base, probably a good idea. I don’t think the prices are outrageous either. Given the quality, they’re on the cheap side. GET THE SUSHI! My photo is the spider roll.

Walked in and the inside looked new. The interior layout had a simple modern look. I ordered the one meat plate (sliced brisket) with potato salad and cheddar new potatoes. Gal at the counter was friendly and was key in helping me decide on my sides. Brisket was tender and delicious. The sides were also very good. Overall quality, quantity, and price was great. Very much enjoyed dining here.

Got 1 lbs of brisket, 1/2 lbs of turkey and 1/2 lbs of sausage. The brisket and turkey were very good, smoky and flavorful. The sausage I did not really like. The skin was very tough and the sausage had just a peppery flavor. The service was fast and staff was friendly and courteous and smiling when interacting with us. Our three meats and a brisket baked potato came to just under $60 with no drinks or sides. Will have to try again in the near future and get a combo plate to try some sides.

Pretty standard BBQ, sauces were normal but limited choices only 2 options a standard and a spicy. Neither were anything special. The burnt end unfortunately were exactly that burnt and dried out like they had sat too long.

The building is very old. As we walked in, we caught a hint of old home smell. Once we proceeded to our seating, we were fine. We got that scent again when we headed out. So, it’s only in that small entrance room, where you get that smell… they have indoor and outdoor seating. The food was good. The Gorditas and the shredded chicken in the gorditas lacked Mexican flavor. The menudo had good flavor but lacked panistas and hominy. The place size was large enough to share food. The Mexican martini lacked flavor. They served us well considering we were a large party. I think we will come back to try the lunch menu.

Wonderful breakfast in Kyle. They serve good menudo on the weekends. They have good drinks also. I love their chips and salsa.

I enjoy eating at Los Vaqueros. My favorite dish is the chicken fajita plate and the jalapeño margarita. The salsa is homemade and delicious. Good prices and atmosphere!

Met some friends for lunch and we shared a couple dishes that our waiter recommended. It was my first visit so i wasn’t sure what to expect. All the food was very good. Meatballs were delicious and homemade as they should be. The Stromboli tasted great as well. Nice crust and flavorful meat fillings. I left full and satisfied. Also relieved as I had unfavorable Italian elsewhere in the area.

Very disappointed with the food I ordered. A basket of bread, ordered as appetizer was very bland, it needed more time in the oven. The chicken marsala was definitely not worth what I paid for. A thin piece of chicken breast was served for the chicken marsala and the pasta portion was pretty small. For $18 dish; I was expecting bigger portion. Thankfully, the chicken caesar salad was the good thing we had there. Doubt I will go back there.

I think their pizza is one of the best kept secrets!!! Every time we go here the place exceeds our expectations!!!! The portions are always hot and fresh. Such a good atmosphere. If you like authentic Italian dishes, look no farther I have had pizza throughout the entire United States and their 20 inch is always spot on. In my top 15 pizza joints in America, which is crazy….. I’m going to include some photos and be the judge for yourself

Place looks very new. Inside dining area was clean, crisp, and well lit. Theme was Hawaiian. They have screens to self order. Tried the traditional chicken, rice and macaroni. Order was delivered to my table in short time. The boxed chicken comes with teriyaki sauce and this was very good. Rice was also good but the macaroni salad I did not like and only ate half. Over was a good experience.

Exceptional! From the moment we walked in, Merrik was welcoming and took the time to explain the menu to us in detail, which was very helpful. He checked in on us twice during our meal, ensuring everything was to our liking and even took the time to explain the rewards program on the way out, which added great value to our experience. We ordered the Huli Huli Chicken and the Molokai, both of which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Mac was also a standout, incredibly creamy and comforting. I highly recommend visiting Hawaiian Bros for not only their delicious food but also for the top-notch service. Prices and portions were very reasonable. My 4 year old loved it. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

i had high hopes coming to try hawaiian bros and for the most part i really enjoyed it! the food was fresh and tasty, but the main complaint we had was the meat felt overly salty. i would certainly give it another go because it was still good and hopefully it wouldn’t be an issue next time.

It was a great choice! The wait staff was fast and our waitress constantly checked on us even though it was a super busy labor day weekend lunch! Our wait was just around 20 minutes but they got us in quick and we're organized with it! We got hit with chips and salse as soon as we sat. Got a small queso, yum! We ordered a full quesadilla, added rice and beans on the side. It was perfect, hot melted cheese and crispy Tortilla. Flavor was great! Definitely going back! Side note: I forgot my sunglasses, had to drive back, and as soon as I walked in, a young staff member held them in the air and smiled. I was so happy!

Despite that they didn't know what a Steven's Special was or even heard of it, our server Erica made sure we were able to order something similar while suggesting an alternative. The Queso was actually better than we expected for a Chile Con Queso combination. It wasn't as spicy as most. As you seen in the submitted picture post of the supreme nachos, you better bring an appetite or you'll have leftovers. I also suggest the Fiesta Plate (all beef or cheese) as you get a small variety of favorites as a meal combination. You also better arrive early to avoid the lunch rush and breakfast is served all day. Outside of the one server making sure our salsa bowl didn't remain empty to our wonderful server Erica making sure our needs were met and no one was dissatisfied or thirsty, we enjoyed our 1st visit here with the possibility of a return.

The Garcia’s chilie con queso is really good! I forgot the name but these were very tasty too! Then we had to get desert! They all were very good! Then to top that off service was very quick. Love this place and would highly recommend anyone to stop in!

Manager Melissa is a complete liar & fraudulently charged my credit card while lying that she hadn’t. It seems we are the anomaly experience at this location alas, 2 starts is being generous. Our visit started being told they no longer have the Grub&Game deal. Their bowling screens still advertise it. After ordering our food with the bartender, we never saw her again. The chicken tenders appeared either overcooked or cooked in old oil. I was later told my Melissa, “maybe your kids shouldn’t order it.” We asked and were told they would be made again. They came out looking the same. We then asked for a burger substitution. From order time to burger delivery was 45 minutes! Smash burgers were greasy, but I digress. After we ate, I asked for my $10 tip to be removed, AT LEAST. The manager, Melissa, came back and told me she comped our entire meal. I asked for a copy of my refund receipt since I had already paid. She handed me the exact copy of my paid for receipt. The then LIED to me that it was the refund receipt until I showed her I had a picture of that EXACT receipt. Melissa then brought a receipt that showed our meal “COMPED” but not refunded. Again LYING!!! I then asked for the other manager on site. When an employee called for him over the radio, I walked by Melissa who radioed “Diego is unavailable.” Again, LYING!!! Diego listened to my concerns and offered us free bowling; as we had planned to pay to bowl but my husband was decided we would not spend another penny at this establishment. Diego was kind and empathetic. Despite all the time we wasted, we did have fun bowling, and I look forward to speaking to the GM, AJ about our unfortunate incident.

I have been passing this place for a while now and finally decided to come check it out! I love arcade games and to find a fun place to bring my family ◡̈ It seems much bigger from the outside but still has alot of fun games and there is bowling and its connected to a movie theater which the prices seem very reasonable for both. There is also a small bar area if you want to hang out while your kids play. It’s a quick go to if you wanted a little fun time

One of the best EVO locations there is!! The staff to the management are super friendly and helpful, clean and modern facility and the best theaters and arcades in the state!! A full day of nothing but fun when you pair bowling, a movie, arcade and dinner. The food is top notch, not what you would expect at a movie theatre!

I sure enjoy these small businesses for breakfast and lunch. We were in Kyle, and I wanted a home cooked breakfast but didn't want to make it myself. So I googled breakfast nearest me and looked for something besides big chain restaurants. I saw some of the photos were just the kind of breakfast I was looking for late in the day. I am so looking forward to trying other menu items in the near future. I'm willing to drive from downtown Austin to Kyle for it. That's how good they are. It's a great family owned and operated restaurant. The owner was our waitress, and her son was running the driver through.

First time trying out this local, family owned spot. Could be described as a little dive of a restaurant, with some great authentic Mexican/TexMex food. The service was also exceptional, with staff being very attentive and asking us regularly if we needed anything. We will be back! Especially because they serve caldo de res, menudo, pozole everyday and serve the full menu at anytime as well.

This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food! It is a "hole in the wall" kind of place, so that right there tells you that the food is going to be good! You drive up and order from the window. We got menudo, a lengua taco, a chicharron taco and a brisket taco. All portions were generous and the flavor was amazing!

These pictures are my bowl before and after mixing. The food is amazing! Not always the cleanest lobby, but generally nice place! Pricier than I'd like normally, it's about $35 for my fiancé and I both to eat here, but we enjoy it for dates and special days.

We just came for the first time ever and it was AMAZING!!!! Food was great and staff was GREAT! Excellent customer service!! Definitely recommend! We came all the way from New Braunfels and just happen to see that they had one while driving and we pulled over right away. Everything was so good, we made a second order to go!

I had the pleasure of having lunch at Cava and I couldn't be more delighted with the exceptional options they offer. The flavors were rich, diverse, and showcased a perfect balance of textures. The customer service was outstanding. I would highly recommend Cava to anyone. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu options. Hopefully next time I can try one of their drinks. As they were out my first visit. 6/15: Update to my previous review. The service this time around was bad. Waited in line for 40 minutes plus for a mobile order. To then be told that I’ll have to wait longer for chips to be made. It appears to me that you all don’t prioritize the people in the drive through. As I saw the line inside go from being long to just 3 people. Not sure I’ll be returning!

Mixed reviews here. I’ll break it down. The decor and ambiance looks appealing with its Mexican theme. The place is very large and can accommodate large parties indoors and outdoors. The service? We had very little wait time before getting seated, considering we came during the busy Sunday brunch time. The server took our order in an timely manner. The food… It took a very long time to arrive. The portion sizes were large and looked appetizing. Those dishes from other customers around us did too. The taste however, is a different story. The menudo was not good at all. The migas did taste good. My omelette was okay. Will we come back? Perhaps after exhausting all the other local restaurant choices. This won’t be our first choice.

Had a stellar time with co-workers and enjoyed all the Chicken Mole. The biggest item that could have been better was the TVs in the dining area. All the outdoor seating was taken and would have been great to have one or two TVs to see the games going on. The food, company, and service were exceptional and tortillas could tell they were made in house. Enjoyed the time and recommend.

We have come to this location many times over the years but will probably not be going back again. I ordered the menudo and while I’m eating I spoon up a big hard piece of plastic. I asked the waitress twice to get a manager to explain what was in my food and no one ever came. I had to call one over myself only for him to just say sorry and asked if I wanted more?? I was kind of confused as to why I would want more of something that had plastic in it but instead of not charging me for it he just walked off to the kitchen. I could have choked on this while I was eating! I really think this could have been handled a lot better and why would you still charge a customer for food that had trash in it?? Horrible experience!

We were looking for a place to eat lunch and Big Ribs Burgers came up as open for lunch on a Sunday. My wife had a patty melt with added mushrooms and fries. I had the Bacon Swiss Avocado burger with tater tots. Both were amazing and we will definitely be back. Our waitress was friendly and explained the menu since it was our first time.

I have wanted to try Big Rob’s Burgers for a while…and I was not disappointed! The meat was fresh, the bacon was crisp (not overcooked!) and the burger was delicious. And the French fries were exceptional (loved the seasoning!). Above all, the service was superb. Ruby is an excellent waitress!! Big Rob’s is a hidden gem in Kyle, TX. Per our usual, we found this place on Google, and that was lunch. The young lady that was our server was amazing. She worked her butt off and took very good care of us. We had a burger, Philly, and bacon Swiss avocado burger. The burgers were all on point. They were frozen patties. However, they were cooked perfectly and seasoned just as well. We also tried three different sides, fries, swetpotato fries, and onion rings. We were all very disappointed in the onion rings, which were not worth the upcharge. Again not fresh, frozen, but had no flavor and undercooked. The fries were great. Cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Nice little place.
