Really good food and drinks. The enchiladas has a really nice red sauce in them. The charro beans were good, different. It’s beans, sliced hotdogs, beef and bacon. Carnitas were very flavorful. Mojito was mixed well. Sweet tea was really good, some of the best I’ve had! Service was good. Bathrooms were clean. It is a small establishment, but it moves quickly.

It is a small place, we had salad and they were good. We have to try other things to give more reviews. We have to try their street tacos to see if they are like what we expect. We went back today and their menu changed and they have a lot more food to offer and they were excellent. We will be back definitely.

You might drive right on by this unassuming little restaurant on the side of the highway where there's pretty much nothing else around but let me tell you you definitely want to stop in.... We ate at the slowest hour of the day 5:00 p.m. and the food was hot fresh and absolutely perfect. I know they all get their refried beans and rice etc all off of the same food service truck but you can tell they still put a little something into this for you at this Cazadores Mexican restaurant. To be honest though the personality of the wait staff was mediocre at best and the actual decor and atmosphere inside is that of a back room restaurant from the '90s. You feel like you're sitting in the back room. But that's kind of cool too if you're into that sort of thing. The staff were watching Mexican football and listening to Mexican music and the food was very Mexican and the Mexican staff was Mexican. So if you like Mexican. You know what to do.

The service was awesome! Our waitress was super friendly and efficient. The food was phenomenal! The brisket was so tasty and tender, it literally melted in my mouth. And my friend ordered the sampler plate. It would have fed all three of us. I can't wait to eat there again.

Having lived in Texas many years, I was a bit disappointed with the brisket plate. It was dry and cut too thick. It was as thick as a steak. Loved my salad with French dressing and my fries. Not many places carry this dressing anymore so great surprise there. Nice atmosphere and busy waitress was very personable.

While hitting a few small towns on our way to Nashville, we wound up in Kingston. Not a lot going on EXPECT this smoke house!! A home grown place that serves live music on weekends and great food. If I had the chance to come back here when ever I wanted to, this would be my place. Please stop by if you have the chance. Great people, great service, great food. No complaints!

Being from Texas I didn't have high hopes but the barbecue was good and the service was quick. Buddies doesn't waste any time moving customers through the line and out the door. Drive thru and carryout and inside dinning never stopped during the 30 minutes we dined inside.

Traveling through and stopped for dinner. I had the brisket. It was sliced so thin and it had been sitting so it dried out. All of our food was cold. It was not good at all. They were very unorganized. I would never return. A waste of good money.

Service is usually pretty good except for tonight. I went through the drive thru and sat for 5 minutes and nobody answered. I drove to the window and seen 3 employees working the counter. Two of them looked at me and then turned to act like they didn't see me. After waiting another couple of minutes and them glancing at me a few times I drove off. I worked fast food as a teen and this kind of service would have got you fired. Not asking for anyone to be fired, but you can't run a successful business without employees taking care of their customers.

We were so happy to eat here. Food was simple, no BS, just good. Burger was great, fries were fantastic, onion rings delicious. It's reasonably priced and the staff were so nice. I wish we lived here so we can eat in this restaurant more often.

What a great little treasure of a restaurant in Kingston! I stopped in just before noon and it was busy. There was one open table and a seat at the counter. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a few minutes for a table. Even with that, my food was ready really quickly. I ordered the #1 Handee Burger meal but I got onion rings instead of fries. That made it a bit more expensive but the onion rings were amazing! The Handee burgers were slider style so they were small and it came with four of them. The server (and everyone working there actually) were very friendly. The Handee burgers were very tasty and worth a try if you've never been. I would love to stop in again sometime to try their breakfast food. They also have a drive through that stayed pretty busy.

My first time eating here but it was amazing! I had a doctor appointment so we didn't get there till 15min before close but they were lovely! Wonderful smiling faces and delightful food. So sorry we were late! Thank you for your excellent service!

The food was Taco Bell tasty. The service was excellent. I didn’t have to order from a screen so that’s always nice.

This location never disappoints me when it's either slow or busy orders are always getting out with speed. When it's busy the gm makes sure to schedule good and enough people. Beyond that anytime I get food here they always make it right and it always taste good. Good job to the gm of this store and to ALL of the crew.

It was a typical liquor store. They had the most common bourbons and whiskies. But not enough of the high-end stuff. I thought I was looking for Weller bourbon, which they did not have. But a good liquor store over all. I would recommend it

I was there on a Friday about 3 weeks ago for breakfast and ordered Tator tots and a drink. The tots smelled and when you ate one it was cross. The girl came back with my money I told her and she acted like she knew that the grease was old. I told her that was nasty and she just said Yea and offered no apologize or said anything. I won't be back.

Food is delicious, really didn't have a issue with the food but it was just the service and I could have cared less about the food, I just wanted to know why that some of the stuff was on the screen then suddenly gone, and why the person taking my order was rushing me and saying stuff in a rude tone I really didn't think that I would get such a negative energy at sonic ever that made me cry and yes they gave me the stuff that was took off and I appreciated that totally, but it was just the way I was talked to if you want to be respected by costumers then you should respect them and I have all respect for what fast food workers do I really do it just gets irrating when you try to get answers and all you get is leaving in tears like my fiance called just to ask a question and get answers and someone was being rude on the phone to him saying well just come back and talk to management and all we wanted was just to know why the whole order was not on the ticket, like maybe i wasnt speaking loud enough or maybe it was to loud or something if someone just would have talked to me in a way that was professional and not getting irrated and making us hurry and stuff this would have been a whole lot different and I couldn't even say this because of no one would take the time to listen except for the costumer service person I talked to which I can't remember his name but he understood what I was saying and truly apologized and that made me better then I was. I had to do what I felt I had to do because I don't want someone eles to be treated the way I was. However There was one manager or soon to be manager there and server that I really like accept they work at night I think only and they were amazing he really had like a nice conversation with me and my fiance and the server that brought our food out was not only generous but so kind and just made sonic a place to be at so even though I had a awful experience yesterday at sonic I will always remember the hard workers that make thier customers feel like someone.

If I could rate these people a zero I would read him a zero they are the most incompetent ignorant people have ever met my life you sit in a drive-thru for 25 minutes they are backed way up and they're taking their precious sweet time. Then you pull up to the window you pay almost $10 for a hamburger and order onion rings and real and bonus made me late for work Way to go people

We got our food to go because there were no clean tables. We were the only customers there, so they weren't exactly busy. The napkin dispenser was empty so we asked for napkins- she didn't give us any napkins. I work in food service myself and we are short handed too, but this was unacceptable. Wiping what few tables y'all have would take all of three minutes. And the no napkins thing is just messed up. I see why y'all were empty and the McDonalds next door was packed.

Employee taking orders inside took an order to a parked car. She reached in to her bar pulled out a e-cig, smoked it and put it back. Came inside took more orders and never washed her hands. Very nasty. Same lady, changed out the trash and never washed her hands.

I had an amazing experience with my order today. The manager was April. The cooks made my order correctly and tasted fresh. They had a smile and greeted me when I came in. Proud of the staff that was working nightshift. Definitely will be coming back.

bought 2 pizzas. 1 was all veggie pizza. told them 3x so they would get it. went got our pizzas and got on interstate because we were traveling. and they had the pizzas wrong, and pepperoni on veggie pizza. contacted them papa John's. they said sorry, better lick next time. never going to one again. there are other pizza places in the kingston area. plus when you go in to pick up order they ask you to tip them . world gone wrong

Great quality pizza with some deals for medium one topping pizzas, breadsticks, cheese sticks, and desserts for 6.99 each. We always enjoy their garlic sauce dip for the pizza and my kids like the Peppercinis that come in the pizza box. The restaurant was clean and organized.

Have ordered a few times and sometimes the leave the crust slapped out to long and it doesn’t rise right and taste stale

10/10 Recommend Maple Creek Bistro. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff. I had the grilled chicken Alfredo. Normally I’m a burger or pizza type of guy but decided to change it up for once, and I’m so glad I did. It’s got me eager to be back to try other dishes! I’m in town for Thanksgiving and will back for Christmas and I can’t wait to come back to Maple Creek Bistro. My service was excellent. Hayley was on it. I drink my soda at restaurants like the cup has a hole in the bottom. Not once did I have to wait or ask for a refill. You don’t get that kind of service where I’m from, so it was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Hayley and thank you Maple Creek Bistro!

Truly the most accommodating place I’ve ever been to! Couldn’t recommend them more. The service and food were incredible. Toni, Carson, and the beautiful bartender with gorgeous red hair could not have made this Valentine’s more special. We will definitely be coming back!

Had a girls get together dinner. Service was very good, seating comfortable with availability at the bar. Every one of our meals was excellent. The meatloaf special is so yummy. Steak and their mashed potato worth trying. Salads soup was very good. Wonderful place in Kingston

I'm so glad I got the chance to order here, everything was delicious! The portions are generous, the prices are great especially during lunch, and everything tasted so good. I love the hot tea, and the egg drop soup is very tasty, though a bit thick. I definitely recommend grabbing some takeout here if you have the chance 10/10!

I was traveling through and excited to see they had vegan/vegetarian options. I got the General Tso’s Tofu to go, and ate it by the lake. They were friendly, the prices were normal, and the service was quick. My only complaint is of the flavor. It was mediocre. If I am in the area again I will try a different dish for sure.

Great food! We ordered takeout today and had vegetable soup, egg drop wonton soup, plain lomein and corn nuggets. Hot and fresh and delicious! Had enough to save for later.

Somehow the food here is always hot and good for a McDonalds, but the dining room is always a mess even when the place is empty with tables that need wiped and food in the floor. Trash is always overflowing, and flies are abundant. The service is meh, especially after they hand you the bag, no one ever comes back to the counter. Forget about ordering at the register.

Ordered two kids meals with extra fries and NO apple slices. When I checked my box, I had apple slices, so I asked for the extra fries and they asked for the boxes back and they would give it to us and they gave us less fries than what we had before we handed it back.

As someone who frequently visits your establishment, I have often encountered inconsistent service during the morning hours. However, during my last visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding hospitality provided by Kat, who I learned is a manager. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made a significant difference in my experience that day. Kat's kindness and attentiveness turned what could have been another ordinary visit into something truly special. It's her exceptional customer service that has convinced me to plan my future visits around her schedule. She genuinely makes my day brighter!

We parked our tractor trailer across street. This is our 2nd time that we enjoyed traditional Mexican food here. The meats and vegetables are fresh wholesome and we will be returning !! It's right along our route.

I want to preface this review by saying that I'm rating this one time experience at this restaurant. As many of the locals know this place has been very hit or miss on the kind of experience you might have here. Sometimes it great and other times very lack luster. To be honest the wife and I stopped coming here period because we'd rather drive an extra 5 minutes to ensure a good experience. However, I heard that they have gotten new management in November 2023 and they also added some new menu items such as queso birria which is our new favorite. Ok after saying all of that I can say that we had a very pleasant experience this time. We ordered the Chorripollo and the Queso Birria Tacos and it was all great. Food served from the back very fast, it was hot, and also very tasty. We also ordered their tomatillo hot salsa that we get from every Mexican restaurant because we need the spice. We will be back again after having such a nice experience this visit. I'll edit my review If I need to update it.

Adorable place. Food was much more then we expected and delicious. Our waiter was friendly, made sure everything was wonderful and not overbearing. We will definitely be back!!!

Great variety of loaded teas and shakes! My favorite so far is Strawberry Colada. I could seriously drink these all day everyday. My six year old loves the kiddo menu. So far we have tried the kid's Barbie and Captain America.

It was New Year's Eve when we went to Harper's and let me tell you, one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life! The atmosphere was fantastic, as you can see Santa's dining with us and he's sitting at the back, lol! He had finished his Christmas duties for the year and was now on break. The burgers at Harper's were so good, we had to come back for seconds after we finished our first! I highly recommend for anyone visiting Kingston, great great spot and very friendly staff!

Walking on the street of Downtown Kingston looking for something to eat. Stumbled across this dainty burger spot with great service and even better burgers. We ordered the “pig in the orchard” - 10/10 (meaty and fresh at the same time) and the “smokehouse”- 8/10. I recommend getting lettuce, pickle, onion, tomato on the side (it’s free!) They also have daily specials. So sangria Wednesday was awesome!

You can choose your burger from the patty size (6 or 10oz), to the burger flavour, to the buns, and the sides you want to get (regular fries, criss cut fries, coleslaw (tangy or creamy), etc) We got the classic, crunch and smokehouse. Flavour is ok, nothing much different really than other regular burgers. But our server was very friendly and attentive. The place is conveniently located right in the heart of Kingston at Princess St. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any coffee or hot drinks like hot chocolate or tea. They do have beers, cocktails, and pops. Washroom is clean. When we were here, we used our Kpass for a 15% off because our bill was more than $50 for the 3 burger meals.

We had reservations for 7:30pm on a Friday and were seated in a back area that I thought felt separated but my spouse didn’t mind. Our view was of a portion of the docks through some of the extremely dirty windows that actually obscured our view. For a restaurant which touts it view as a main theme, they should demand that the hotel clean the windows regularly. That is the end of our criticism. Our server was perfect with the right amount of attentiveness and an unobtrusive and experienced manner. Kingston was the last stop of our 9 day exploration of Ontario and we hoped that this meal would be the highlight of our dining experience. We were not disappointed. The restaurant demonstrated elevated dining beyond anything we expected. Each dish was pleasantly unexpected and we fully appreciated the chef’s creative and delightfully surprising take on otherwise common dishes. The presentation was visually remarkable without being over the top. We have had the good fortune to dine at some of the world’s top rated restaurants including Eleven Madison Park & Per Se (New York NY), The French Laundry & Ivy (California) and we would include AquaTerra in our same top 10 list as the aforementioned. Equally pleasing were the desserts which exhibited a similar creative spirit. Overall a truly wonderful dining adventure.

Had the halibut on yellow curry sauce placed on mashed sweet potato. It was a little too bland tasting. The atmosphere is very nice and most of the seating has a lovely view of the water. The staff are fantastic.

Wow to start. Gordon Ramsay himself would be proud of this location The service is Excalibur, the food is unimaginably delicious Phenomenally cooked. Marco was the best server anyone could ever ask for, cared genuinely about the experience. Best Experience I’ve had eating out anywhere. To start; A chef salad. Beautifully done Wonderful delivery The food prepared in each dish came as its own piece of art. Then the bacon wrapped Filet Mignon Touredo melted with every bite in your mouth. The tomato salsa mmmm wonderful The corn purée was incredible, creamy and just perfect. The potatoes were delicious as well and the little micro greens were lovely. So hard to find someone that uses them so well. For desert Rhubarb Pavlova with Blueberry coulis, and a nice rhubarb sauce with macerated berries. Topped elegantly with gold flakes. We were a bit hesitant because the menu was so big. We thought the food would be so-so but we were pleasantly surprised. The halibut and chips was flaky and the batter wasn’t too heavy and the Short rib Mac n cheese was delicious. The wait was not too long and the place was packed on a Wednesday night! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Heather was a great waitress also. Super friendly!

Stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner during our drive from Montreal to Toronto. The place was packed at 5pm, almost a bit too loud for my taste though. TVs with sport broadcast everywhere, each table has its own TV :-) Service was great, very quick and friendly. Ordered the French onion soup, halibut & chips (served with caesar salad), baked jacket potatoes and 8oz beef tenderloin steak. Everything tasted very nice, although with the steak I would prefer the peppercorn sauce to be served extra, not directly on the steak. Still a great choice when you're in the neighbourhood and look for a better dining experience than fast food (of which there are plenty around).

We were walking of 5 and were told there was a 30-minute wait possibly 20 but happily we were taken in right away. Despite the number of people in their area, the servers Callie and Jess for exceptional. The food came out very quickly and was fresh and hot. All of us enjoyed what we had ordered. It was a little noisy with all the people in there but I would definitely recommend the restaurant especially if you get our servers!

This cozy bar offers a welcoming and warm atmosphere. During our visit, there was only one bartender handling the entire place, but she managed everything seamlessly. Her professionalism stood out—she was friendly, efficient, and made every guest feel well taken care of. The bar has an impressive selection of drinks, and while the food menu is limited, every dish looks tempting. We tried the chicken tenders and fish and chips. The fries were perfect—crispy and golden, just how I like them. The chicken tenders were juicy and flavorful, and the fish was tender, with a light and tasty batter. Overall, this bar is definitely a spot I’d return to, even though I was just visiting. The inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food and drinks make it a standout place to relax and enjoy a good meal. Highly recommended!

I ordered 1 pce halibut and switched out the fries for a very tasty house salad with goat cheese and walnuts. The batter on the halibut was not too thick, light and crispy. The service is friendly and hospitable, their outdoor patio is serene and lovely, and the food is tasty. The only thing I would recommend is the Pilot switch out their tartar sauce for something more home made and less commercially generic. If you’re looking for a space to chill with good food and friendly service the pilot is a great place to land.

This was a great place for lunch and the Pilot Poutine was so very good! They were busy and seemed like there were only 2 servers but the atmosphere was ultra friendly and we just relaxed with our drinks while we waited for our food. I'd definitely recommend the Pilot House.

There is a great selection of food and drinks to choose from, including various great vegan options. We loved the pasta and the pizza with fresh cheese and tomato sauce with plenty of basil in it. The service was fast and enjoyable. Our server was also bilingual and easy to talk with. We were happy with our evening. it was excellent.

It’s been a few years since we’ve been to Atomica and this trip reminded us how good it really is. The arancini is a must have starter, perfect size for sharing, and the marinara was great. If we weren’t ordering pizza I would have ordered more. Our pizzas were also really good, we went with the angry peach and the Canuck AF, both loaded with toppings and flavour. I gave the Atmosphere a 3 mainly because it’s very loud and because it’s so busy it’s looks beat up in spots. From dirty/well loved menus to the scratched up benches you can tell this place is a hot spot. Not a complaint, just not the date night ambience i remember from our last visit.

This place is incredible!!! *vegan friendly* I live 2h30 away and will gladly make the road trip again! As a vegan, this is one of the best meals I had. (Tofu bao OMG) A special thank you to Allison for her amazing service. (If you are vegan I highly suggest to ask being seated in her section) Oh and make sure the order the rocky road, it will end your diner beautifully!

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in Kingston, Ontario, look no further than the Black Dog Tavern. My recent visit was nothing short of fantastic! One standout for us was the onion soup, which was rich and flavorful – truly a must-try! We paired it with their delicious hummus and crispy fried calamari, and we couldn't have been happier. For those with dietary restrictions, the Black Dog is a great spot for gluten-free options as well! We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to Kingston. Highly recommend this gem!

Formerly Chien Noir, this Bistro is still great. The food is spot on with french flair. First discovered it over a decade ago and always drop by when we're in town. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something more refined than The Keg I wish they kept the Chien Noir name. Black Dog Tavern undersells to food.

Our group of six ladies really enjoyed the lovely heated back patio! What a great idea. The food was awesome too. We really appreciate having a heated patio option because one of us works with extremely vulnerable patients. The server even let her unzip the patio cover nearest her to let fresh air in. We will be back! Posting an update to this review in the hope that someone will either adjust the menu descriptions, or provide what is described. We eat here almost monthly. Just a heads up that the "berries" with the creme brule was actually a single strawberry, and that the herb roasted "half chicken" was actually two legs and thighs with almost nothing else. My friend had the crepes for desert, which were hard and cold. They are supposed to include "dark chocolate". That turned out to be dark chocolate baking chips served on the side! I'm glad I ordered my reliable choices of the French onion soup and seasonal salad. On the plus side, the waiter was awesome!

Came in a little before 22h. This was a suggestion from a friend. The server was really nice and friendly. But the thing is everything I wanted to eat weren’t available so I finished by choosing a salad that we upgraded with extras. They could have given me a discount or something for the trouble but they didn’t. Both our food were good. Also not very kid friendly as for the menu, they proposed buttery pastas ❌. They did have a high chair though but no changing table.

Upon our arrival in Kingston we decided to eat at this place because it had good reviews, but unfortunately our experience was not what we expected. We ordered some burgers which honestly had no flavor, they just tasted greasy and the flavored beer I ordered tasted like cough medicine. The only good thing was the service from our waitress who was really kind and attentive.

No line up, and no reservation required when we arrived on Saturday night around 7:30pm. Trout linguine and shrimp was very good. Nice portion size. Heated patio allowed us to enjoy a wonderful, early fall, dinner outside. Ambiance was fantastic. Service was amazing. Michael, our waiter, was so patient as we delayed placing our order while we caught up, visiting. He recommended meals choices and drinks. One of us tried the fruity, gin signature drink. Not for me, but she loved it. Topped off the night with delicious chocolate torte and peppermint tea. I have not had such a relaxing meal out in what seems like forever. Of course, the company I was with made this night all the more perfect, but the Red House was just wonderful. With so many great places to eat in downtown Kingston, I hope you'll give this one a try!
