Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Kingman – 2024

Had the Joey’s Salmon and it was very nicely done. The fish was still very soft and juicy on the inside. Was very lucky to get a table without reservation as the restaurant filled up very quickly. I think if I had shown up at normal dinner time it would have been a very long wait.

We’ve eaten here a few times and each time has been a good experience. They are pricey, but you get top notch service and excellent food. I had the chicken Marsala which was so tender, I cut the chicken with my fork. Good wine, nice atmosphere. Not loud, and we were able to talk to each other easily. Great service also.

Loved the food. It was good. I hope next time I'm driving through Kingman, I can try their rack of lamb.

The place was empty when we arrived except for two tables. We were handed menus which were photocopies. Upon choosing we noticed the two menus were different, some of the dishes on one had been whitened out. We queried this and were told that the proper menu was the one with the missing dishes. We had the cheeseburger which, I have to admit, was very good. We asked for vinegar for the fries and they didn't have any, nor did they have ketchup. The service was good and I felt like the server was embarrassed regarding the missing items on the menu. This place has potential, great location, quirky and clean and organised inside. However, with so many tables it could have been full but it was empty. A decent menu choice would encourage more people. Can I recommend it? No, I wouldn't

We were driving to the Grand Canyon with the kids and stopped here. Followed the signed and sat ourselves down. It took them a bit to get to us which is fine. We ordered the food and it took so long the kids were getting antsy. I believe it took over 30 minutes. When we got up to leave they ran up and said the food was almost ready.

This place is outstanding!! The food is DELICIOUS and the atmosphere is perfect. Samantha to EXCEPTIONAL care of my at the bar. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through Kingman.

My husband and I came for our Anniversary. Had been here a few times before. Saw the same two waitresses. Not very friendly or enthusiastic about their job. Came around 2pm and only a few other people in the restaurant. Ordered clams for an appetizer. The waitress came back about 15-20 minutes later and put a plate with a ciabatta roll on it and walked away. Around 5 minutes later she brought the clams which were alittle above lukewarm. Our entree’s took another 15-20 minutes after the appetizer. The other waitress brought it out. Tasted great, but the food was NOT hot, just warm. FYI we ordered bananas foster for dessert and it was served in a large bowl full to the top with a brown sugar liquid that is truly inedible. Our waitress never offered a refill on water and was either on her phone, missing, or walking around with a “to go” cup, I assume was for herself. We won’t go back for a long time.

Visited this business twice in the last 2 weeks. Bottom line, this is a overpriced restaurant. Food is no way worth the prices they are charging. Glorified cafeteria is the best way to explain it. Meat was dried out. Nothing special about the burgers. Could have gotten the same meal, probably better quality for almost half the price at any other restaurant. Very bland and no effort on their food presentation.. just basic, boring glorified fast food. Not even an extra side with your meal (coleslaw) considering the prices they are charging. Very disappointing.

Great place for honestly good food. Baked potato perfectly done and served warm, fresh vegetables steamed, FRESH not frozen. My porkchop was large and a little dry but flavorful. Nice yet casual atmosphere. Drink pricing is really low! Staff was great, very friendly and made me feel like a regular when I was just driving through

Great diner stop on our way to Route 66! Food was excellent, service exceptional (ask for Jason), and the atmosphere was neat too. Place was clean, hostess was polite and seated us promptly. Bathrooms were clean. Black Bear Diner was a very pleasant surprise. Wish this place was closer to home!

Very delicious, affordable prices. We got our table fast and the food came out fast and delicious. It’s perfect for traveling because it conveniently located along the highway. Leaving the parking lot can be difficult but it’s worth the wait.

Around opening I got eggs & chicken fried steak..seemed like can & frozen food mostly except the garnish..ordered toasted for $2 and got burnt toast with the burnt areas included. Thought this was said to be an above average diner…as for food it was below average except the eggs were done right. Black in the picture is NOT pepper including the big black spot on/in the gravy. Gotta have a good reason to return to this location..don’t know if a reason to go again is possible.

Was trying to find a nice place in Kingman to unwind, relax and let our 3 year old run around, usually a brewery works well and this place did not disappoint. Great outdoor patio space with plenty of fun for kids to play with and run around. This place has a pretty good beer selection and the beer was pretty good. I really love that they reuse their spent brewing grains to make pizza dough, it is a cool concept with their "Dirty Dough" never really being the same day to day. The word play on their menu is absolutely hilarious, although not the most family friendly ha ha. Staff was really friendly, came right out to greet us and get us waters and menus. They were super nice to our daughter and gave her juice and stickers on the house. The pizza was fantastic. Their dirty dough is nice and fluffy but holds up well to the weight of the toppings. We got the Artichoke-me-Daddy/Hipster pizza as we were looking for something a bit lighter or no meat. They were kind enough to only put jalapeno on one half so that our daughter could have non spicy slices. This pizza filled us up quick, but it was so good and the lemon seemed odd at first but it paired so well with the artichokes and the jalapenos. We also tried their cheese "sticks" which, in retrospect was a mistake when looking for lighter bites. Same big fluffy dough, tons of cheese and the beer cheese had a really nice tang to it. I wish we were in town for more than one night to try more beer and pizza. I definitely would want to swing by here again if passing through, though I would hope to have more people with us to share with since their food is quite filling.

To our surprise, there was live music by an amazing solo artist. Refreshing after a weekend kayaking down the Colorado River. Exactly what we needed on a Sunday to recharge and refuel on our way back to Phoenix. Pizza was delicious, service was perfect. Ranch is the best I've ever had. Can't wait to come back! Bonus: we watched the Packers lose.

I first came here on a whim three years ago and fell in love with one of the pizzas. Ever since, I’ve been meaning to come back. Came today and tried a different pizza, also as equally fantastic. The staff are super kind and they have a great assortment of beers and ciders. 10/10 recommend, whether a local or passing through.

Our family had a wonderful experience at this cracker barrel in North Kingman Arizona. Our server Jeremy went above and beyond to provide exceptional and courteous service. Our food was excellent. We also appreciate that Cracker Barrel has an allergy sensitive guide for their foods. The country store area was filled with the most beautiful gifts, clothing, nostalgic candy, food items and clever children's toys. You can really tell that the staff here work as a team, and the manager Katrina appreciated our positive feedback. We had a great experience! Five stars!!

The atmosphere, food and service were wonderful. I had no idea that such a wonderful chain restaurant existed in the US. I was surprised by the cute accessories and displays. The food, taste, price and quantity were all perfect. The waiter's service was excellent, and at the end, a woman who seemed to be the manager came to say hello. I would like to recommend this restaurant to many friends.

Decided to stop here while driving back to Phoenix, and it was a wonderful experience! The rustic, country-style ambiance made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the charm of the place. The food was delicious! From the main courses to the perfectly cooked sides, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. But the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the dessert - something we had never tried before: the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca Cola Cake. It was a unique treat, rich and moist with just the right amount of sweetness. If you're a chocolate lover, this is a must-try! Overall, it was a great pitstop with tasty food, warm service, and a memorable dessert. If you're traveling on the I-40, make sure to swing by the Kingman Cracker Barrel for a satisfying meal!

Cool place stopped in for breakfast. Nice waitresses very friendly. Food was great and came out quickly! Noticed it had another side of the restaurant that was called HotRods similar menu same kitchen. Overall good local restaurant.

We were passing through and Olympus diner had great reveiws and great menu selection. We certainly were not disappointed once we arrived. The place was clean, the atmosphere comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. Definitely would stop here again. I highly highly recommend the spinach pie and their famous pancakes!!

We love stopping here on our drive to Arizona. Great service & great food! Zucchini appetizer, and prime rib is out of this world. Our waitress was great!

Lovely Cafe, great ambiance, beautiful pictures of desert scenery. The food is delicious and reasonable serving sizes. Plenty of beers on tap, Space Dust was a bonus! Haven't tried the salad bar yet but it's on the list for next time. Has a great gift shop near entrance for any souvenirs. Lots of parking and right of the road for easy access and visibility.

What a great find. Easy access from 40. Very clean, friendly and lots of room and parking. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The food was delicious and big Portions. I had the roadrunner and hubby had French dip.

Stop by for breakfast while on vacation in Pine Lake, We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this restaurant is in the inside. The outside doesn't do it justice. The Food was Delicious, Our server was Friendly, Fast & Helpful. I loved that the chips come with not just salsa but refried beans also. This is a definite keep on our travel list of must stop and eat places to go. They have a fun photo op also :) Can't wait to visit again.

If you want delicious food and well-mixed drinks in a beautifully designed atmosphere, visit La Catrina!! Through two visits (one for lunch and one for dinner), we experienced excellent, attentive service resulting in superior experiences. The food is made to order with special care and attention to all reported allergies. Each table receives a basket of chips with salsa and refried beans. All of these items are freshly made - as our chips came out warm. The bartenders are masters of their craft. All drinks are well made with a perfect blend of liquors. The variety of margaritas, mojitos, and more mean there is something for everyone‘s taste. Prices are very reasonable allowing you to order appetizers, meals, alcoholic drinks, and dessert for $25-30 per person. If you only want a meal and a water/soda, the cost is only $10-15.

This was a great spot to stop on our drive to Vegas. Good food, reasonably priced, and great service! They also have a menu that rivals the Cheesecake Factory menu! To start, they give you salsa and beans. Most Mexican spots like this only do salsa so we appreciated the beans as well! We tried the Combo #3 with a taco, enchilada, and tamale. We also tried the shredded beef quesadilla. We enjoyed all of it except the taco. Not sure what the seasoning was on the beef in the taco but we didn’t care for it. The service was great and we loved the atmosphere! Very unique wall paintings everywhere. If you visit, we hope you enjoy as much as we did!

I have eaten my share of Chicken Alfredo.. I must say; that was the best I’ve ever eaten! I love that they make their Alfredo sauce from scratch! So delicious! I will definitely be back for sure.. oooh yeah; I’ve had their 50/50 Chorizo burger… AMAZING!! Can’t end this review without mentioning the staff. It was almost closing time; they were nice and personal and didn’t make me feel rushed! Wonderful night staff.. thank you for a great experience!

The eggs are cooked to perfection, with a runny yolk that complements the earthy mushrooms and buttery pastry. Served with a light hollandaise sauce, this dish is both rich and satisfying, making it a standout choice for all days. The Chicken Fried Steak The Chicken Fried Steak is a comforting classic that doesn’t disappoint. The steak is tender and well-seasoned, coated in a crispy, golden-brown crust. It's served with a generous helping of creamy mashed potatoes and rich, peppery gravy. It's beef indeed but taste like chicken with its tenderness. Stop here!!! There are a lot of hamburger options in Kingman, but you should do yourself a favor and eat here!! Why? Because it’s family owned and operated, service was extremely friendly, the place is clean, the food was delivered hot to the table, and best part, it was really good!!

Good burgers and chicken, onion rings. Staff is great, they took care of us. I'll be going back.

Stepping into Mr. D’s Route 66 Diner is like taking a delightful trip back in time! The atmosphere exudes charming, old-fashioned vibes that make you feel instantly at home. Excellent diner in the historic Route 66 Kingman area. It really looks and feels like back in the days. It’s of course fast food so don’t expect diet dishes. We went for a classic Route 66 burger with fries, pancakes and the “light mushroom breakfast” with of course some Coca Cola. Attached the menu from today 24/08/2024 and the photos with our dishes. Prices are really affordable and fair, service is very good and all staff is friendly. Overall a place to try for the experience. A+

I liked Mr D'z. It had a neat '50s atmosphere to it. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. I craved the chili dog and gave in. The banana split looked good, but I didn't have room for it after my chili dog.

This was my first time here. The food was amazing! Super friendly, great American hometown diner atmosphere. The coffee is constantly refreshed. The price for the amount of food you get is a great value. I love this place and will be back often.

Classic diner breakfast. Big and filling! Prices are fair and service very good. Get in early as all tables packed out by 9am Sunday. Gives an idea that folks really do enjoy this establishment. Would eat here again! *To the negative commenters: This isn’t a resort style cafe. You knew that when you pulled up. No red carpet, no parking valet, or famous celebrities on the wall. If your posh bottom cannot handle vinyl bench booths from the 80’s and plastic fold out church chairs, turn around NOW.

Such a cute spot! Stopped here on my way to Petrified Forest, great service and fun atmosphere, way better than the more famous Route 66 stops if you like a smaller, more local feel. Breakfast burrito was great! So cheap and super big. I’m in love with the coffee mugs

Had the opportunity to try this place Sunday morning. We came in with 15 people and they pushed tables together to accommodate for us. The fried catfish was good needed a bit more seasoning. Other family ordered wings okra Mac n cheese grilled cheese. The decorations in this place is awesome.

Ate at Dambar for lunch today after walking out of another restaurant due to crap service. So glad we did. I had half cashew chicken salad sandwich and soup -yum. My husband had chicken fried chicken sandwich and loved it. Also had Pumpkin Pie Martini YUMMM. Our server, Debbie, was a gem. Thank you! Staff, food, atmosphere, all exceptional. We will definitely go back. Maybe for dinner next time and check out their steaks.

Our waitress, Tina, is hands down amazing and delightful! We had wings - super yummy and huge! Burger - one of the tastiest my son ever had. Baby back ribs - meat incredibly tender it falls off the bone, the BBQ sauce is one of the best I've had on any meat! Great atmosphere. You can't go wrong especially with reasonable pricing for what you are getting ❤️ Thank you for a fantastic experience!
