Yank Sing is an esteemed culinary establishment renowned for its exquisite dim sum and authentic Chinese cuisine. Located in the heart of a bustling urban center, Yank Sing has…
I usually have low expectations for Chinese American food in this area, which is why I’d always bypassed Yank Sing. But today, my fiancé convinced me to give their takeout a try, and I’m so glad I did. We ordered Chicken w/ Broccoli and SteamedRice, Pepper Steak and Steamed Rice, and Shrimp Fried Rice, and I have nothing negative to say. Each dish was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The chicken was tender, the steak perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp fried rice was delicious. Yank Sing completely exceeded my expectations, I’ll definitely be ordering from them again!
Got there as soon as it opened. Restaurant is beautiful and clean but old and outdated. Food looked beautiful and was hot but not everything tasted equally good. You can always tell a restaurant by their soup. Their hot & sour soup was gross. I enjoyed some of the dishes but tasted it the rest of the day. Kind of feel like I was restaurant catfished. Salads/fruit- good Cold shrimp- powdery with huge poop veins Sushi/fish cakes- good Soup- gross, wontons even worse Desserts- good Dishes- some good, some gross when it comes to flavor. Everything was hot and the textures were right. Price- it's a fair price considering it's all you can eat and will cost you the same to eat at McDonalds. You pay as soon as you walk through the door. Expect a line. Minimum seating while waiting. Service- saw lots of employees but no one ever came to clear up plates from our table. Good thing I didn't have seconds. They offer a free buffet with a safety drivers course.
Updated 02/20/2024 Decor is still awesome, service is about the same but the quality of the food has gone down in my opinion. Since in the end the main reason for going to a restaurant is to eat, I had to lower my evaluation. Pretty much everything I ate was around a solid 3 Stars. Price has gone up and I do not feel that the meal I received was a good value at $18. I will not be back for a very long time if ever. This is one of the most impressive decorating jobs that I have seen in a buffet, truly a beautiful place to dine.

Title: A Five-Star Experience at Tillie Marie's! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tillie Marie's, and I can wholeheartedly say it deserves every one of its five stars. This vibrant location is a perfect blend of good food, lively music, and an inviting atmosphere. During my visit, I opted for the burger combo, which was expertly suggested by one of the friendly staff members. They helped me create a perfect halfway point between the styles I enjoy, showcasing their expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction. The meal was absolutely delicious and well worth the recommendation! What truly sets Tillie Marie's apart is the professionalism exhibited by the entire team. Their dedication to providing an enjoyable experience is evident, making everyone feel welcome and valued. Overall, Tillie Marie's is a gem that deserves to be bustling with traffic. I highly recommend stopping by for a fun time, great food, and wonderful company!
OMG, when my friends and I decided to come try this restaurant. We had no idea it was attached to the Bingo hall. It definitely was not what we expected, IT WAS SO WONDERFUL!!! The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We ordered Bacon cheeseburger with okra, The special which was fried chicken with mashed potatoes. We also got wings with the Bourbon sauce and loaded friends. My husband got the garlic parm wings with loaded fries. I can not express how absolutely wonderful the food was, we will definitely be back. Make sure if you are going to come enjoy the food, you give yourself plenty of time. As all the food is made to order, NOT AHEAD OF TIME!! But they have some fun games to play while you wait.
The food was excellent! Just took a while to cook. Definitely a hidden gem. Will be back soon! Excellent food and service! Looking for a professional mobile deejay? Follow me on Instagram @DJJustJayOK Also inbox me for Quotes
The Spot Bar & Restaurant is a premier dining destination that seamlessly blends a vibrant atmosphere with exceptional culinary offerings. Located in the heart of the city,…
Love this lil bar it's a cozy little atmosphere not a ton of people. They have indoor and outdoor seating. A selected menu item but food is very good. Staff is great! A nice little spot to stop into for drinks and wings or tacos and good vibes!
It's not too much to The Spot. This place is a small bar with local people (all kinds of people) who frequent this bar. You can get wings, burgers fish etc. The employees are nice and they know you by name if you go there often enough. I gave it 4 stars because on different times I got the cheeseburger and it was fried extremely too hard and the wing sauce was watered down however I don't know what they do with the fries but they are amazing I will go back and try it again. Stop by if you've been thinking about it. It's a nice place to hang out. Juke box and sometimes a DJ with a small dance floor.
Shalonda is a gentle soul with a lot of love and sunshine to give. This a place for anyone with good vibes that just want a place to hang out with friends for a few drinks good food & good fun.

If you are tight on time and craving some Puertorican food, hit this place up! Amazing food selection of the most well-known dishes in Puerto Rico! Food quality is great and I always make sure to get the "Arroz con gandules" with roasted pork and Yuca or Tostones.
I just came back from Puerto Rico about a month or so ago, and the food here, in my opinion, is still better. The staff here is friendly all the time, but the food is always fresh and it is never old. I love the music they play here as well. Makes you dance and eat at the same time. It does get a little warm in here, but hey, piece of puerto rico lol I'll never get tired of coming here.
The food is delicious. I would go a lot 3 years ago when I was stationed at FT Hood. I recently returned with hopes that the food still tasted just as good and it did! Wish they were open on weekends!
Little Italy Italian Family Restaurant is a charming dining establishment that brings the rich flavors and traditions of Italy to the heart of the community. With a warm and inv…
We went for a family birthday and I'll admit that we questioned the choice as there were some lean years for Little Italy which was a childhood favorite of mine. I'm happy to say that Little Italy has resoundingly returned to form. The food was delicious and the plates looked amazing. All of them! The place was spotless and the service was attentive, friendly and prompt. Everyone at the table (there were 25 of us) is eager to come back to sample more. Thank you, Little Italy! Our family had a great time and we're thrilled to be patrons again!
Another place we drive by weekly but kept saying, "We gotta try that out sometime." Well, date night on the right side of town means new opportunities! You definitely feel the family restaurant vibe when entering and received a friendly welcome from the waitress. They have a very kind and attentive staff. We ordered a lasagna, a chicken parmigiana dinner and some drinks. The atmosphere was calm and they had Christmas music playing in the background. The red sauce is very traditional. The lasagna was good had a quite a bit of cheese. If you are looking for a crispy chicken cutlet in your parm, it might not be what you are looking for but it had good flavor. We specifically took a photo of the rolls as those were a nice change up from other places. We will be returning to try the white sauce options soon.
After driving around Killeen in search of food, we decided to stop in and give Little Italy a chance. I've been here before, but it's been years. We walked in around lunch and surprisingly it was fairly slow. We were immediately greeted and seated by our waitress. She was very attentive and patient with during the ordering process because everything sounded so good on the menu. We finally made our selections and after a little wait our food was brought out. The presentation was great and the food didn't disappoint one bit! Im the past I'd been disappointed, but this time everything was great! Stop by and give them a try. It's worth it. We only have a few Italian restaurants in the area, and so far they are in my top two. We're looking forward to our next visit.

La Garita let me down tremendously this day. I was so disappointed because I drove all the way across town, only to be let down. I've been dining here off and on since 2009, and this was the worst food I've ever had from them. Everything is usually finger licking good, but everything was bland and flavorless this time. The meat tasted as if it wasn't even seasoned. I hate leaving bad reviews, but the best thing I ate was the salad. The service is always great, and the atmosphere was lively. They had great music playing while I was waiting.
I live in Pflugerville and I wanted to go to La Garita to eat, all very delicious, all very clean and spectacular service
This is a great place to get some good food. We got the fried pork and they were perfectly fried. The beans were fantastic! The plantains were traditionally prepared and the rice was very standard fair. We will be eating here again as the food was great!

Let me just put it plain and simple I will NOT ever ever ever return to this restaurant and I surely would not recommend it. Oooweee don’t confuse my words people are more than welcome to try any restaurant you want I just won’t be coming back. They don’t make it user friendly especially for first time customers. I was beyond confused and lost I should have just left. Even with explaining the process to me I had too many questions which means the waitress should have took the time guide me I couldn’t even comprehend the instructions. Now the two drinks I had were delicious. The crab legs on the bar were ice cold I guess I was supposed to warm them up while boiling the soup. We added everything we could to the pot and it all came out very disgusting. We paid for all you can eat and ate nothing it was a waste of time and money! Always go with your first kind you cannot even take a Togo plate so all the food just say on the table to be trashed! Total water even golden corrals lets you take a to go plate. Either way it’s paid for so why not! I definitely hope they make some changes that will allow for more customers to take what they have leftover home. I enjoyed the music playing and the Olympics on the tv.
As my first experience with this type of cuisine, I must say yum. Yes, the price is up there but well worth it. Had a great Moscato. Ordered the hot pot. Got the Szechuan spicy soup and the healthy herb soup both very delicious the spice was perfect on the Szechuan. Light them so much that we wanted to take them home but couldn't. Luis the trainer was our server and was great in explaining everything about how to order and what the experience would intel considering we got there a bit late, he explained that this is normally a 2 hour experience but we only had an hour. Great atmosphere plenty of groups which is good to see. The sauce bar was great with many options. A very enjoyable experience everyone should give it a go. Will definitely be coming back to experience the BBQ
My husband and I had an amazing first-time experience at K Pot in Killeen, thanks to the exceptional service we received from Patricia. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful in guiding us through the menu, making recommendations that were absolutely perfect for us as first-timers. Her professionalism and warm demeanor made our visit so enjoyable. We also appreciated how kind and welcoming the manager was, which added to the positive atmosphere. We had a fantastic dining experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Real authentic down home food! Made with love!!! I enjoyed this place and the food so much..large portions, meat falls off the bone..and the spices had my mouth in a sensation of joy. The Mac and cheese tasted amazing..like something grandma would cook. This place didn't miss a beat and I drove from Houston TX to try it.....and I'm coming back again and again!
Favorite selection: Curry Goat I went with my dad. We ordered 2 small combination plates (jerk pork w/chicken and oxtail w/curry goat). Both plates came with rice and peas, fried sweet plantains, and steamed cabbage. We also ordered 2 slices of rum cake and 1 small size cup each of cucumber juice and pineapple ginger juice. Total meal cost: $71.38 My dad (who is puerto rican) really enjoyed the meal. This was a welcome surprise since he can be very picky, especially when it comes to food that isn't puerto rican. He especially enjoyed the jerk pork, saying that it was some of the best pork he ever had. I personally thought it was well seasoned but a bit dry. The chicken was well cooked and had a nice sauce, which paired well with the fried plantains and rice. The steamed cabbage was well seasoned and had a nice light crunch. The Oxtail was very flavourful and tender. The Curry Goat was delicious, one of the best cooked goat dishes I've ever had. The 2 drinks were very refreshing. We actually got to sample 3 of the fruit drinks offered, which was really nice. The rum cake had a soft texture with coconut flavor and cherries, a very nice dessert. We were also given extra sauce on the side for the curry goat and oxtail along with our order. I appreciate this since it showed the consideration the staff had for us as customers. Overall, both me, my dad as well as mom enjoyed the food, and I could definitely see myself coming back. Would recommend
My only complaints were that they were out of rum cake and that they weren't closer to where I live, as this spot is legit when it come to authentic Caribbean cuisine. Oxtail and curry goat were tender, and that mac and cheese is mind-blowing. If your in the area, don't miss out

First time visiting this establishment since it originally opened. We had a great experience. Food came out pretty quick and was delicious. The portion sizes were large and well worth what we spent. Service was outstanding. We definitely be returning.
Was not impressed with the quality of service we had here. My party went for lunch in a Tuesday (wasn’t that busy). Poor communication, drinks ran out, one of our party members asked for lemons for their boil and for their water, only to be told initially they don’t have any. Then, when the food came out they had lemons on the plate of oysters. We were confused and asked again for lemons from our waitress, she said the lemons were only for main courses. I don’t understand the reasoning behind this, but don’t lie to a customer and say you don’t have any. We asked another server walking by and she actually got us some lemons, no questions asked. Could be some miscommunication with management or something. The quality of food was decent. Mozzarella sticks were great. The oysters were a bit over cooked. The Boils we got were amazing. Highly recommend. Overall, great food but not a good experience with customer service.
Great experience here. I love when a place has fried oysters! They play great music for a night out. I also love seeing the staff communication with their leaders/managers.

I came here for brunch and the food as well ad the atmosphere was amazing. I got the full house meal, and the sause that came on on the sauce was great. The portions that are given definitely match the price. The service was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Good food, great service, and I really enjoyed the music. The strawberry cake was so good. It was perfectly sweetened, and the cake was so moist. It does take a little bit of time because it is cooked fresh, so if you're in a hurry, I would order ahead. I can't wait to try more on the menu.
The food is terrible no flavor and the customer service was even worse we wasted 50.82 on lunch today ♀️macaroni was mush there was no gravy on the pork chop and the greens had no seasoning the rice was mushy but you get a lot of it the pork chops are baked not fried but the corn bread was good

BEST SERVICE!! The food was so fresh and delicious. The portions were enormous !! For the 5 of us to eat it was only $60! Me and my husband normally spend that on just us when we go out. Can’t wait to come back!
Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch, the place has a really nice vibe and a really cool place to just hang out with some friends. There’s a pretty large menu, everything looks good too. We got the Galactic Madness (Grilled Cheese Buns for cheeseburger) & the Outer Rim (Quesadilla Cheeseburger) both were really good. The fries are salt & pepper which is good. The onion rings were surprisingly good too. I would definitely come again for their breakfast and the endless cereal bar. They’ve got a lot of retro arcade games and consoles too you could play and lots of collectibles for sale. Definitely a unique spot and the food is a good value.
Freaking awesome place. I rode 3 hours from Dallas to enjoy them after trying them twice on previous trips to Killeen. Friendly from the second I walk in, after being shot at by an alien that greets you at the door. Tons of memorabilia. (Don't open or you are buying at current market prices lol!) Burgers are a good size, cooked to order, lots of options, great atmosphere, played some Star Wars video games a few levels but then they freeze up after about 15 minutes but you can start from scratch again. The main thing is to feel the nostalgia, the coolness of playing Star Wars arcade games! They don't rush me to leave and all goes off people enjoy this place. I guess great food and all the different memories of Star Wars movies over the decades comes together in a great combination! 10 out 10 for me, thank you to the cooks, servers and owner(s) for everything including the refills on soft drinks.

Awesome sit-down food spot hidden in plain sight. I never stopped there thinking it was just a burger joint, but they're open late and the food was great. Not a drinker so I can't rate the bar, but the Philly steak was one of the best I've ever eaten. And they have Purple Heart only parking which means they love their soldiers. Great place!
Shout out to our server Juan who made our first time at Bubba's very memorable. He was so sweet and patient with us. When it comes to my girlfriend and her food she doesn't like people around it or talking over it. When she asked Juan not to come back for at least ten minutes after he brought the food, he didn't understand why (because she didn't explain it) but he respected her request. His is definitely the real MVP! The food was amazing. We tried a little bit of ALMOST everything. Babe liked it so much that she wants to go there for her birthday. When it comes to entertainment the amount of TVs alone makes this place special. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the decor is the cutest. My favorite was the pictures on the ceiling. It gives you the feeling of being in your favorite uncle's man cave with great food and drinks. I loved it. The rest of the workers were nice as well. We even spoke to a manager because my girlfriend wanted an application once we were done eating. After speaking to her, we let her know that if they were to stay open until 2 a.m. that they would definitely put Applebee's out of business. If you haven't been there, you definitely gotta try it. Our wait time to be seated was around 7 minutes because there was a large party ahead of us. We definitely will be going back because I want to try their burgers and pizzas.
This USED TO BE 5 stars but quality and service have been been terrible the last 2 times we have been here. The fish sandwich with no onions came smothered in onions and the medium well burger came medium rare. When we complained the wait staff was rude and less than helpful. When replacement sandwiches were brought out they were exactly the same as the first sandwiches. They did remove one sandwich from the bill. I could eat around the outside of the burger because at least it was cooked. Basically we paid $20 for tater tots. This is the last time I eat here!

I'm always on the hunt for local dining, Brick and Forge Taproom hits the mark perfectly. This is the Killeen location, with the feel of a much larger franchise. The atmosphere inside has that of a relaxing bar on one side, with a family-friendly restaurant on the other. The menu has something for everyone selection wise. The hardest part is deciding what you're actually in the mood for once you read them all. We went with a beer each, fried pickles, which I'll admit I judge a place on their fried pickles, and these did not disappoint in the least. The chicken fried chicken was massive and perfectly cooked to be crispy and yet juicy. The sweet potato fries served with a marshmallow dip was a first and set a new must have when dining out, the pork nachos in the picture is only a half serving with the chips being crispy yet light. The Carmel fries, you'll either love them or hate them, but one bite, and I was hooked. For all this with two beers and coming in cents over $50 was so much more food than at least we could eat, knock off the beers, and it would have been under $40 before tip. New must go for me, and anyone looking to get a good meal with amazing value! If you've ever gone somewhere and nothing on the menu sounds good, this won't happen here. You'll find something as they have that variety to hit what you're craving.
We have been to Brick & Forge in Killeen several times and we have always been happy with our food and the service. We stopped on Tuesday afternoon for an early dinner. It was before the dinner rush, so there were plenty of available tables and we were seated right away. We took advantage of Happy Hour appetizers and got a half order of Pepperoni Rolls and a half order of Pulled Pork BBQ Rolls. The half-order of rolls is only $5 on the happy hour menu. The pepperoni rolls come with zesty red sauce and the BBQ rolls come with their signature Canon Ball BBQ sauce. Both rolls are very good and are great as a shareable appetizer. We’ll get them again. I got the Buffalo Chicken Street Tacos and my wife got the Kickin’ Shrimp Tacos. The chicken tacos are made with large portions of fried chicken tenders tossed in Buffalo sauce and drizzled with homemade ranch dressing. The shrimp tacos come with four breaded shrimps tossed in their bang-bang sauce. Great tacos! We both got hand-cut fries with our tacos, and they were nicely seasoned and very good. Nice meal all around. We have always had friendly service at Brick & Forge and this time, we had Bryanna. She was all smiles, helpful, and attentive. I recommend that you give Brick & Forge a try. Good food at reasonable prices.
Such an amazing dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious! And the service was really great as well. We ordered the spinach dip, the ribeye, and the pulled pork fries which were all 10/10. This will be our new go to restaurant ‼️

I read the reviews, and drove 4-1/2hours outta my way to come here. The customer service was good, and the food was great! Piping hot chicken wings, my absolute favorite thing to eat! Mac n cheese great, and yams smackin! Banana pudding was slightly froze in the middle, no worries still excellent. Well-worth the 5 star reviews, and I love to support good BoB!
Hate to leave a bad review, but I’ve tried calling on multiple occasions, placed on long holds, & no one ever returns to find out what’s going on. Tonight, the *entire* meal was simply put… nasty!! The meat on both orders tastes like someone literally just slung the seasoning out of one hand and oh well… wherever it lands… it lands!! Some spots of the meat were overly seasoned and some had none at all. The “macaroni” was the biggest disappointment. It had so much butter the cheese couldn’t even melt and stick! They formed cheese balls of their own to somewhat feel apart of the equation still, and all we could taste was butter. I zoomed in, so you’ll have a better view of the sitting butter. It’s been too hit or miss lately and sadly I can’t/won’t recommend anytime soon.
I hate rating it this low because Bobby Bs is good sometimes . I’ve officially learned my lesson and will no longer order within the last 2 hours of closing . I was so hungry I at almost a full rib before I noticed the chemical taste and foul smell (some grey meat) . Had to force myself to swallow it but I should have spit it out . I’m up now 1am and stomach pains . Dahmmit Bobby! (Hank hill voice)

Backporch Drafthouse – Temple 11-16-24 Had lunch with my family. The atmosphere was nice. It has a bar setting with a separate dining area. It is a large room with lots of seating and plenty of TV’s. The food was good but lacked seasoning. The food was hot and fresh. We had: FRIED MUSHROOMS Beer battered crispy fried Mushrooms served with Buttermilk Ranch CRISPY FRIED PICKLES served with Homemade Buttermilk Ranch CHICKEN FRIED STEAK & EGGS Black Angus cubed Steak, two fried Eggs, house made Sausage Gravy and a buttery Toasted Biscuit served with Home Fries The biscuit was hot, fresh, and good! THE BIG DADDY* Buttery Brioche Bun, two Route 66 style Patties, Secret Sauce, American and Swiss Cheeses, Crispy Bacon, and roasted Jalapeño Bacon Jam Overall, it was a good meal and we enjoyed it. The food was served fresh and hot. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient. We will be back. Be sure and try them! We all have good and bad days. Today was a good day!
My wife and I stopped in here a couple times over the last three weeks. Yesterday, we both had this feature burger on a pretzel bun with beer cheese and onion strings. It was excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and lively without being chaotic. Our servers have been great both times. Highly recommend for a low-stress, low-cost lunch or dinner with no pretense.
Mixed feelings about this place. The buffalo and Thai chili wings were plump and great. However, they only came with two small celery sticks, which was disappointing. There should be a decent balance for a dozen wings. I enjoyed my scrumptious burger. However, the flimsy fries are weak in flavor and leave much to be desired. Also, one half of the restaurant by the bar has nice views for watching sports games while the other does not. Our server frequently interrupted my friends and I mid conservation too. It was annoying. I think this place has potential to improve but nothing stands out about it.
