The food was very good! I really enjoyed my meal here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We dined with two young kids so I always appreciate when the service is accommodating of children, like bringing their food earlier, providing colouring sheets or just being nice to them in general. The food itself was great. I ordered the bone marrow appetizer and a steak and lobster dinner. I quite enjoyed both! The location was farther from the resort but the shuttle made it easy to get there. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Deerhurst.
A cozy upscale restaurant on Deerhurst resort, reservations recommended. The food is good and very filling - maybe that's because we got the cheese fondue to share before having more heavy items but no regrets. We had a good time with the scallop pasta and steak and took a bit of what remained to go. Drinks were decent as well. Overall nothing really mindblowing, but a good stop if you're at the resort to celebrate something special given it is pretty pricy.
Wonderful meal. Food and service was great. By far the best restaurant at Deer Hurst Resort. Everything was well seasoned and prepared perfectly. If you don't want steak, I had the braised short rib, I would recommend it. I also hear that the onion soup is excellent. This one is on the pricey side so check the menu before you go to make sure it's in your price range. Well worth it if you are looking to treat yourself.

We found this place on our way to Algonquin and it was a perfect lunch spot. The Spinach Artichoke dip was some of the best we've ever had. The portions were great and they had plenty of options on the menu. Service was great and it is nestled on the main street of the city. Parking was easy on the street, which was a huge plus.
Great choice with excellent ambience and super friendly service. The place is clean. We tried the pork and burgers. The pork was juicy and the burgers were delicious. The fries are the best. The coconut cream pie is a must!
when it comes to muskoka brunch options, this is PEAK. yes, it gets a bit packed in the mornings - but there's a reason - and it is absolutely worth waiting in line for. i ordered the tofu scramble wrap (substituted homefries for fruit) and it was so incredibly filling and tasty. i left completely stuffed and entirely enchanted. everyone in my group enjoyed their meals as well. the server lady was so sweet too !! she even gave us a bottle of local hot sauce to try out <3 ... don't miss out on main st. local kitchen !! and 100% go for their BRUNCH !!

My parents and I had an amazing dinner here. First time goers but heard amazing things from mutual friends. This place did not disappoint. Service was amazing. The food was delicious. Can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. The grilled calamari and sea bass special were my top picks of the night. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Will come again for sure.
This is a very good restaurant and highly recommend. All the dishes were generous and packed with flavour. We got the salmon and with veg risotto, seafood linguine and seafood risotto, it was all very nice. The wine was also very nice. We also had desserts that were as well very nice and homemade which is rare for restaurants nowadays. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We decided to visit Portuguese house because it was highly recommended by some family. I suggest you try to make reservations during the summer months because it's a busy spot. We started with the flaming sausage. Excellent. Then I had the seafood risotto and my wife had the Paella. They have an excellent wine list and other drink options. I would highly recommend visiting for a dinner for two or with a group of friends. The staff was excellent as well. Jamie was our server and she was amazing. Will be back again for sure.

My partner and I came here for our 3 year anniversary tonight and it was so refreshing to have a great dining experience! We were in and out in under an hour, the service was fast and the food was hot. Our server Patrick was amazing, he was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive without pestering. It’s a rare treat for us to be able to come here but some of our best dates have been in this restaurant; they really have a wonderful group of people working here. Looking forward to our next visit!
Excellent. Awesome patio with a great view of the river. The food and service was good. I tried the fish tacos, they were very tasty, I'd get those again. Recommend this place if you are looking for a casual meal with good service and tasty food. Check them out
This is a great place for drinks. Boston pizza or Pizza nova is better choice for pizza. Burger is acceptable but can be better for that price. Expect very very very slow (or no) services unless you are drinking beer. Note: we ordered carnivore pizza, super salty and it's like bacon crumb plus pepperoni. The dough is not airy, flat and sad. Don't get it!!!!

If you are visiting the Huntsville area, a stop at Tall Trees is a must! My wife and I rented a Chalet for dinner. The first snow fall was a nice Added touch to watch in front of the wood stove. The atmosphere was very peaceful and the music playing in the background was a lovely touch. Dora was our server for the evening she was very knowledgeable when it came to the dishes any questions we ask she was able to answer. We ended up choosing the 3 course options. It was nice that there were options to upgrade your soup and dessert. All 3 courses were absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed the feeling of not being rushed the small breaks in between courses was great! This experience was one of the best dining experiences we have had. Thank you to the owners, Dora and the chefs!
What a lovely spot for great food and great service in Huntsville. Jay was fantastic in taking care of us. He gave us great suggestions. The architecture of this place was phenomenal as it is located in a building that is more than 100 years old. The restaurant has multiple little rooms which made the ambience, one of a kind. The food was absolutely phenomenal. My favourite was the chicken waffle sandwich and the crispy fried mozzarella ravioli. Well done team Tall Trees! Keep the service and ambience maintained the way it is. My family and I will definitely be back for the dinner menu, next time.
The interior is similar to a house, with dim lights. Service was very slow, and the food arrived after one hour. The food is fantastic, but the quantity was minuscule. I believe that the server is money-hungry because they acted rude when we didn’t order much, but they started to be more welcoming when we ordered an extra cheesecake. Cheesecake was very tasty but do not inhale the smoke when opening the jar. Steak was rare when I ordered a medium. Pesto pasta was above average, barbecue was alright, and the caesar salad was tasty. Complimentary bread was one of the best.

Their seafood pasta surprised and delighted me. Usually, tomato sauce pasta tends to be a bit watery and thin, but their seafood pasta was done really well. The pizza is good too. It's busy. We waited for 20 minutes.
♥️Amazing Italian Restaurant. We ordered alfredo pasta and special sandwich. Honestly we really liked them. It was so fresh and tasty. Thanks a lot and will visit again.
Such delicious food at a very good price. Our server... Fantastic! Very stingy with the bread. 10 people in our party and only 1 little basket of bread. Very inviting patio but was already at capacity.

Always a great spot to go to. We came here for our family thanksgiving dinner and boy did they not disappoint. Their butter chicken was absolutely phenomenal and the pumpkin cheesecake was even better!!
When I first walked up to 3 guys and a stove I was impressed, the front neon sign was awsome and the stone pasthways lined with flowers were beatiful. When I was seated I was pleased with the great atmosphere and a very kind server, she would turn out to be an amazing server as the night progressed and an even better mocktail maker. But as I saw the menu I was slightly confused as the prices were high for the area and they seemed to have a congested menu. The appitizers that we ordered were bad to say the least, the only good appitizer was the scallops the other 2 (cassava bolitas, and aborio rice fritters) were underwhelming and needed salt to be enjoyable, the plating was bland and the garneshes pointless too. the entrees were tragically worse then the appitizers, I got the the meatballs, stuffed shells, and the perch, and they were very underseasoned and poorly plated to the point me and my friend were unable to finish any of them. the plating was not good the perch wasnt skin side up like it was supposed to be plus it was bland, the meatballs were very underseasoned and all around not good, and the stuffed shells sauce and filling both were to watery and had very little seasoning as well. the saving grace of the meal was the mocktails which our server made (they were terrific), and the dessert which were frankly some of the best I've ever had. overall 3 Guys and a Stove was massivly underwhelming and the food you get for the price being as high as it is was tragic with each entree costing me around $50 and each dessert/appitizer around $25. I am personally not going to reccomend this restaraunt to anyone I know. I was serverly underwhelmed.
Such a great experience! We are not chefs but definitely know good food and proper service. The quality in this establishment is UNBEATABLE and this was the best Butter Chicken and Curry Rice we ever had! Management is on point and staff knows everything about the menu and very professional. Great courtesy all around and just an amazing experience. The portions are fantastic and the atmosphere is perfect. They also have a patio which looks cozy with a romantic setting and a beautiful view. Very elegant spot with great portions. I know my review might be a little all over the place because I had to write it while eating. Keep up the great work!

The restaurant is inside the Deerhurst Resort. The space is very spacious with very high ceiling, great decor and paintings around the venue. Our server was really friendly and helpful. The beef carpaccio is really good, but the black salt can be really salty, use lightly. The sea beam filet is one of the best dishes of the night. The beef striploin, which I ordered med rare, came medium well, and the sauce is quite salty as well. The Muskoka S’More is pretty unique, love the combination and the marshmallow is nicely burnt to a crisp. The chocolate cake is quite dry though.
We stayed at Deerhurst for our mini-honeymoon recently. We decided one night to go to one of their restaurants for dinner, more of a matter of convenience than anything else…we were surprised as to how nice of an evening we had. Our server Ricardo was amazing and he should be recognized for navigating us through an amazing dinner. We began with the Pork Belly and Burrata, and The Bavarian Pretzel Antipasto…both were unique in a perfect way. For the mains we had the Chicken Ballotine Caprese for the lady, and I had the Maple Roasted Wild Boar Tenderloin. The chicken was a great earthy delight and the boar was cooked exactly as I asked. Ricardo recommended a perfect Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc that paired perfectly with the meal. For dessert we shared a the Deerhurst S’mores and a couple coffees. My wife said it was one of the best cappuccinos she has ever had. A great evening, thank you.
Live music and ok food. The octapus salad was an amazing combination of flavours. Unfortunately they did not get pur stakes right. Our server, Ruben, did an excellent job and also rectifed the situation. The view is mediocre. (The buffet has a nicer view ).

First visit for a couple's special dinner out. Ambience was fabulous. Can I have your scrumptious leather couch by the door? Music was soothing. Lighting warm and inviting. There is also a bar along one side and a cute patio outside. Love the bud vases and candles along with the carafe of water for the table. If you are lucky you will have a seat facing the incredibly sexy pizza oven! Menu was small so it was easy to choose something quickly. We chose the beet salad, bruschetta, gnocchi, papperdelle al ragu and the gelato trio. We always share our meals between us so we can both try everything. Beet salad was fabulous and the whipped goat cheese was yummy. The hazelnuts and pea tendrils added the perfect amount of crunch and greens. Bruschetta was soooo fresh and delightful. A thicker sourdough may have made the ratios perfect. The gnocchi was a taste sensation unto itself. It helps that I love mushrooms and the sauce was dreamy with the house made dough. Papperdelle superb with tender beef and oh so soft pasta rolling off the tongue. We both don’t really care for tiramisu and so chose the gelato trio for dessert. So glad we did! Flavours were amazing and you can choose what flavours of gelatos you want. We chose hazelnut, vanilla and stracciatella. All were phenomenal with vanilla being my favourite surprisingly. I would have liked to see something crunchy in the dessert bowl for presentation and flavour, like maybe a Pirouline rolled wafer. We had a great night and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Service was a little slow once it started to get busier toward the end of our meal but we forgave our server as she did say she was newish. Our gelato sat on the counter for quite a few minutes before she realized it. And we waited to settle our bill but she still deserved 20% and we were just pretty darn pleased with the place! Will definitely return to try some different dishes. I keep thinking about the softness of those noodles on my tongue…and I’m sure I’ll be dreaming about it tonight….
Great place to eat if you are in Huntsville. The pizzas were sooo good. I also had a salad and it was massive, and super fresh. We also tried the gin mojito with black berries and it was one of the best mojitos Iv had, the mint was actually muddled. Server was really attentive and good.
It was my first time visiting Alora restaurant, and my partner and I enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The servers were incredibly kind and welcoming. For appetizers, we ordered the bruschetta, and wow—it was the best bruschetta I’ve ever had! For the main course, we chose the mushroom gnocchi, which was really good. However, the pizza we ordered, the Picante, wasn’t as great as the other dishes. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Huntsville.

We had a burger and chicken Parmesan. I got lattice fries and a side of Moose chips to try them out. My husband loved the chicken Parmesan, he told the waitress to tell the chef how good it was. My burger was juicy and delicious and I wasn't able to finish it. The lattice fries and moose chips were yummy although most came home in a doggy bag because I was so full. Kate M was our waitress and she was fast, efficient without being hovering! We will gladly come back there!
Haven't been here in. Long time. My wife and I decided to check it out. Friendly staff and great service and we both had a hamburger. It's was very good. Will definitely be back.
In our group. I seen a triple burger that looked great 10/10 . A chicken waffle sandwich looked great 10/10 The Philly steak. Melt. Well 5/10 it was small. Service was great fast refills. And fast service. Jalapeno poppers 10/10. Was the favorite app. Others we had. Coconut shrimp. 8/10 and deep fried pickles 8/10

Nice little family restaurant in Huntsville where the locals also gathered. The servers are really friendly and accommodating. There is bottomless coffee and they refill your mug before you ever have to ask. The food is great and I love the hush, the potatoes are cooked to perfection. Highly recommended, especially on a cool day in the Fall.
I went to The Family Place Restaurant and Pizza for breakfast, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The customer service was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Definitely worth the visit, and I’ll be coming back again soon! Highly recommend!
If you're looking for a family friendly, classy, warm and cozy dining experience with an amazing menu, budget friendly and top notch service: LOOK NO FURTHER. We decided to hit this place up for something "light" ... Ended up having a full meal with zero regrets. Emily took our orders and Anita served up the deliciousness, these girls are personality plus! With great knowledge of the menu and shared with us the history of this long standing establishment, it's a community gem! Anita was nice enough to offer to take a pic of us, photographer too . Anyways, back to the food: we ordered Mexican benny, Mediterranean omelet with fries and opted for the brown rye bread, now this was a little treat as it's custom baked inhouse, prepared for the restaurant. Coffee comes with a free refill! How great is that! Filled with all that goodness, there was no room for dessert but we will definitely return for seconds! The girls suggested "the little badger" bakery next door which is also a walk through from the family place, very convenient. Thank you chef and servers for a very wonderful and satisfying"belly full" experience.

We were here 3 years ago (almost to the day as we came for our honey moon). It used to be a sit down restaurant with amazing food. The new ownership has changed it to a buffet which honestly wasn’t great. Some of the food was good but a bunch was cold. Gluten free items were labeled which was helpful. Service was very good and they were helpful with my allergy. Having experienced it before though we were very disappointed into what it is now.
Food is barely acceptable. For $70/person, there are only two items are good: the salmon and revioli. The beef, the pork and turkey are all dry and tasted dull. Apple pie is extremely sweet. Service is also terrible. We finished a round of food before anyone provided service for drink and we were almost done when the drinks were actually served. Dirty dishes were kept on the table until we went to get dessert. Totally not worth the money.
I can’t speak to non Valentines meals but the prix fixe dinner they served us on Feb 14 was incredible. Cedar planked arctic char with creamed Brussel sprouts was perfection and my gf really enjoyed the beef tenderloin with potato au gratin. The two layer beet shooter was a unique app and the dessert was top notch although my gf found the aftertaste a bit too flowery and soapy. Excellent and attentive and friendly service as well.

All I have to say is, if there is a zero star, I will choose it. It’s our first time here and we are totally disappointed with the food and service. First, we sit at table for more than 40 mins, we are sure, we checked the time, to get our terrible food. People came after us who was sitting near us get their food before us. Second, the waiter is overly confident. She came here and ordered for six of us but not wrote any thing down and left, the end up with missing 3 items. Third, one of us ordered a medium steak, and they bring a well done steak, and for the second time, they bring an almost rare steak. Then another of our friend order a medium rare steak and get a medium steak with burnt bacon around it . The third person get a totally burnt rib. The last person found a hair in the fries while he is eating. The pasta is like frozen food from Walmart. I can not imagine how the restaurant can still open with this kind of service and food quality. There is no right communication between the server and the kitchen. The manager is here but he solved not even one problem. I think I will call the food safety department to check this place.
First time eating at Chuck's and it won't be the last. Food and service was the best I've had in years. Kelsey, our Server, was EXCELLENT. Not hovering but checked on us frequently. And the prices are so reasonable. Amazing place.
fries were good steak was so so but they didn’t overcook, you can’t ask for much at this price

Muskoka on the Rock is an absolute gem! We recently visited this charming steakhouse with our large party of 20, which included 8 lively kids, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. First and foremost, the restaurant is incredibly family-friendly. They offer a well-thought-out kid's menu that kept our little ones happy and satisfied. Despite the noise and energy from our group, the staff remained nothing but polite and accommodating. They even surprised the kids with free ice cream at the end of our meal, which was a delightful touch! Accessibility is clearly a priority here, with a ramp making it easy for all guests to enter and enjoy the space. Inside, the restaurant boasts a spacious and open layout, which is perfect for large groups like ours. The interior has an old rustic charm that feels wonderfully nostalgic yet incredibly clean and well-maintained. It’s the kind of place that immediately feels like home. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The family that runs the business treated us with such warmth and care, making us feel like part of their extended family. Every need we had was met with a smile, and they handled our large group with grace and efficiency. The outdoor patio is another highlight, especially during the weekends when a live band sets the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening. The combination of great food, music, and a beautiful setting makes this place a fantastic getaway spot. Its proximity to Deerhurst Resort only adds to its appeal, making it an inescapable destination for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a great meal. Muskoka on the Rock is a relatively new addition to the area, but it has quickly become a must-visit. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a family dinner, catch some live music, or simply escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, this restaurant has it all. We’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Great steaks, great atmosphere great location. I had a great meal. The staff was friendly and fun. Thank you.
Cozy little place with friendly service and great food. We had lunch there last weekend on a Sunday ride and really enjoyed it. I will definitely be going back. The wings and fish were delicious. Another friend had the Philly Steak sandwich and it was also good. I only wish they had Guinness on tap.

Great food & vibes! I highly recommend the fish tacos which use rainbow trout! They were fantastic! The others in my group had the Cobb salad and fish & chips, both good! Would recommend if you’re in town!
When in Huntsville, this place is a must. Good food, great beer, and great service. The burguer is amazing!! The tomato sauce is made there and it's super tasty. We ended up buying a bottle.
Atmosphere: 4.5/5 The ambiance was pleasant and enjoyable. Food: 2/5 Unfortunately, both the taco and burger meat were quite dry and lacked juiciness. Service: 2/5 While I’m sure not all the servers are the same, I didn’t have the best experience today. Wait time: The wait for food was quite long, about 40-50 minutes. Overall, the atmosphere was great, but the food and service didn’t meet expectations this time.

Took my wife out for an anniversary lunch, lured in by the appealing ambiance from the photos. Overall, I wasn’t greatly impressed. The service was good, but a few odd things stood out. First, we asked to sit outside and were placed right next to the only other people on the patio. After asking to be moved, we weren’t given drink menus because, apparently, that’s “standard practice” for the afternoon crowd. Eventually, we got our drink menu and ordered. My Old Fashioned was good and well-portioned, perfect for the afternoon. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was tasty, and our waitress kept our water glasses filled. Now, the food. I ordered the Angus burger with Parmesan fries. The fries barely had any Parmesan, and the burger was greasy—standard pub fare at best. My wife’s tacos, on the other hand, were good and had a nice kick. Wish I’d gone with those. In summary, while the drink was enjoyable, the rest of the experience didn’t quite match the high price tag.
Grille on Main has one of the most intimate, romantic atmospheres of any restaurant we've come across in Alabama thus far. You'll understand when you visit and look at the ceiling above the bar area. ✨ The food though! We started with the fried green tomatoes. The sauce they paired the green tomatoes with was unique and decadent, while the batter had that perfect crunch. As for entrees, my husband has the bacon wrapped, blue cheese filet which was melt in your mouth tender and I had the special of the evening which were scallops with cheesy polenta and carrots. Highly recommend for a lovely evening out with that special someone.
The pimento cheese BLT is very good. My only complaint is the bacon was a little chewy and it could have used a little more pimento cheese. I substituted aside salad for the fries. My friend had the avocado toast with fried eggs on top and said it was great. Our server was friendly and service was fast.

My husband & I tried this location for the first time for lunch today! We arrived around 11:30. We had trouble finding parking, but we had no wait time once we made it to the restaurant. We were greeted by our waiter almost immediately. I didn’t catch a name, but he did a good job of being prompt & keeping a check on us. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with beer battered fries & a side of macaroni. My husband had the cheeseburger with fries & a side of macaroni. Our food was pretty good! Overall, it was a great experience!
Excellent food and service! I’ve dined here several times and picked up “to go” orders multiple times. Chef salads are huge with fresh ingredients. You can customize everything and one of my favorites is the cheeseburger. Multiple bread options, cheeses, added proteins like bacon, etc. Today I had one with pretzel bun, bacon, and fried jalapeños. Delicious! Beer battered fries are awesome! Well managed and friendly staff.
We choose this place because it was doggie friendly. And the reviews were great. We had the baked goat cheese yum! And each ordered different sandwiches, choosing to opt for sourdough bread! Definitely win. The fries were awesome. Live music outside was great. Definitely would recommend. Our server Pinky was wonderful and also catering to our dogs bringing ice water to them.

DISCLAIMER: This is not a food review but just based on my experience and you will know later why We visited cute like English restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and here is the summary of our experience: 1) Ambiance 4.5/5: This looks so English and charming. The place is painted in red and pops out from far away. It is also donned with the iconic re telephone booth on the outside. The place has an old English pub charm and is very inviting. This place could be a great place for dates. Also, The moment you enter the place, you are welcomed with a strong fish and chips smell 2) Service 5/5: The people are very helpful and friendly. In fact, when we had to leave without order, they were very understanding. 3 Food 2/5: This was our biggest gripe of leaving this before order. This place DOES NOT have any chicken dishes. When we enquired, we were told that they have a brunch menu without chicken dishes. They serve some chicken dishes in dinner and weekday menu which was surprising. I understand that we should have checked the menu online and maybe locals already know that but we were taken aback as visitors from out of town. 4) Value for money 4/5: We did not get a chance to eat here but the prices were not light on the pocket. I understand this place has a great vibe and decor but maybe not the best place for first dates. In summary: The good: a) English charm b) Friendly staff Not so good: 1) No vegetarian option 2) None to little chicken options
I wish I had the server's name he was incredible. The food was amazing. If that was a 10 oz. steak my son got then I want those scales. All of the food was fantastic. If you're in Huntsville this is worth a stop!!!!
I'm from the UK and live stateside. I was so looking forward to Toad in the hole but it was super disappointing. Very bland and the Yorkshire pudding had a scrambled egg texture. My hubby had pear salad. That was so good. The flavours were amazing. Great atmosphere overall and friendly staff. I will definitely return but will be avoiding Toad in the Hole.

Finally came to Huntsville’s most talked about restaurant to my husband and I since we’ve moved here! We came for my husband’s birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! Temple was our waiter and he was awesome and so personable to talk to! He explained the menu very thoroughly and gave us great suggestions! We also got a birthday card from the staff that everyone signed after putting in the reservation that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and that was the sweetest thing for them to do for him! Our food was delicious! Highly recommend the crab legs, lobster bisque, and the filet! All was cooked to perfect, and the flavors were balanced so beautifully! For a Thursday night when we went, it was packed! Definitely would recommend reservations, most definitely if you have a larger party or you’ll be waiting hours; however, there is a lot of seating both indoors and outdoors. Generally speaking, there is something for everyone on the menu depending on your diet of choice as there is a large variety overall!! Their drinks are delicious as well as their dessert, which we got for free! They’re all so awesome and I can see why people love it so much!
As far as Huntsville steakhouses go, Connors ranks among the top. It may not be the "best", but for the quality of food, service and cost, it certainly delivers the best value! That's why Connors has become our number one stop for a good vibes and great food. Prime rib is my favorite, and theirs is better than Char, or another local restaurant in my opinion. Sure, you cam get a better steak somewhere else, for twice the price, but Connors is consistent on value and quality of their food, while Char, Ruth's Chris, and others have been hit or miss for way more $$$... Centrally located in Bridge Street, it makes the perfect stop after some shopping or hitting the movies. Can't go wrong with Connors and that's what keeps us coming back. Also, shout out to Andrew, our server. He did an exceptional job taking care of us, and is an exemplar of customer service. Can't wait to see y'all again soon!
My 10 yr old and i really like Connor's. We ordered Calamari for an appetizer. Most recently we ordered off the Lunch favorites: sirloin and baked potato. The food always taste so good and the staff is great.
Kona Grill – Huntsville is a vibrant dining destination that expertly blends a diverse menu of American and Asian cuisines with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Located in…
We really like everything we've eaten at Kona. Yesterday (Labor Day) the service was very slow. Not sure if everyone asked off? We were there for a late lunch so it wasn't very busy. It took 20+ minutes before our waiter got to our table. We had been there an hour and 45 minutes by the time we paid. Which was okay this particular day because we weren't working so we weren't in a hurry. But the food was good. Prices have gone up ($20+ for an 8 piece sushi roll) but prices have gone up everywhere (thanks inflation!). I got the power lunch which is a pretty sweet deal. $19 for a soup, meal, and dessert. The Bama roll is by far our favorite! So good! My husband said the Crunchy Tuna roll was very good too.
Firstly, service was awesome! We were greeted by a duo host team that made sure our family of 2 adults + 3 smaller kids were welcome. Our server was great.. Not over the top awkward, just consistent & helpful. Secondly, the food and options were way better than expected! I can’t wait to go back
Steak was delicious. Green beans were amazing. Carrot cake was amazing. Service was so slow. It was a late lunch one other person in the restaurant. That chili glaze was soooooooooooooooooo good!!!! Star of the show. It gave my bland and not very warm mash potatoes some life. Carrot cake was Humongous and delicious! The price is not worth it. If I’m gonna spend this money I’d rather go to char! Wish it was a bridge street.
