Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Hope – 2024

Went for dinner with my friend and business partner and we were pleasantly surprised.The food arrived promptly after ordering, first few dishes were the chicken curry and the vegetable paneer with naan and roti and side dishes of rice. We then went on to order more garlic naan, rice and chicken tikka masala. All three main dishes and the breads were just excellent. Tasty, fresh, generous portions and just so well balanced in terms of heat and flavour. One would certainly go there for the food and flavours of India. The atmosphere of course is a very personal preference and it doesn't match the great food. The lighting is borderline offensive. The decor is non-existing, but the restaurant is very clean organized. I will be coming back for the fresh, tasty and authentic food.

We went to this restaurant as we were craving for Indian food. The chole bhature, shahi paneer and Naan were delicious, I would like to have more paneer in shahi paneer. The service was quick and the guy was a super positive person to meet. This is a hidden gem, I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant whenever you are going by Hope!

We had a meal here on a one-night stop in Hope - it made the stay-over for us! The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and excellently prepared, and the portions were generous. We had 2 dishes and naan, it was more than 2 seniors could eat, and even with tip, the cost was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

The food here is above average chinese food. The owner is friendly. The Wonton soup is good.

Of course a restaurant celebrating 50 years in service has to be good. The man working is pleasant every time I drive through Hope. The food is delicious. I am almost certain the wonton is made in house. Well worth the stop

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Hope BC! The best wanton soup and ginger beef we ever had. Customer service was very good, price is reasonable. This will be our new stop over place to eat whenever we go to Vancouver.

Glad we stopped here. Enough parking for a small trailer. Wife had a cheese burger, I tried it and impressed. Good size meat patty and beefy. Real fries on the side. Clam chowder was good. Wings were a little cold. Over all. Really happy and will stop here again on our trips

I was visiting Hope during the late afternoon and thought I would go get dinner wherever was close and open. When I arrived at Rolly’s Restaurant, the place was relatively vacant. Another thing I noticed about the restaurant was how happy and proficient the staff was working there. They served me water right away and also asked if I wanted tea or coffee, which is the first at any restaurant for me. I ordered the Chicken Fingers with potato salad, which also came with coleslaw and vegetables. The coleslaw was pretty good, while the potato salad was decent, even if it had slightly hard potato chunks. The side vegetables came with cheese sauce were quite good and helped with consuming the vegetables. The chicken strips or fingers tasted better than any fast-food chain I have been to. I say Rolly’s Restaurant is a good restaurant for any meal. I would like to come to eat there again for breakfast.

This is a very nice restaurant, small town vibes, nostalgic and clean with great service, very friendly. Drove back from to Van from Calgary, great last stop dinner. I had the mushroom burger, partner had the Chopped Beef Special. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday, fairly decent sized crowd, easy to get a booth. Worth the try.

I've tasted a lot of sushi places in Alberta and BC and this has to be the best place ever ... Spicy salmon n avocado.. spicy cone... Tempura shrimp...

We ordered the beef teriyaki and shrimp teriyaki lunch boxes. Both were delicious and came with a side of miso soup that isn't pictured here. The restaurant was cute and we thought the business card wall was a neat touch. I would definitely stop by again next time we drive though Hope!

The sushi was very sub par. It's been a long time sense I wouldn't finish my sushi for a old fishy taste.. the prawn tempura however was amazing...

We came across this beautiful cafe on our way to Penticton. We ordered latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate, apple filter, cinnamon bun, almond croissant. They all were delicious,and I highly recommend the almond croissant. The staff were friendly and the washroom was very clean.

Absolutely delicious. Spinach & Feta quiche. Chicken pesto panini and a maple almond danish. Only feedback is the middle of the quiche was still cold however it was super good. I’d also think that even with some in orders an option for a to go cup went have been exceptional.

The shop is located on the main street. Friendly staff. The pricing of their food items can be very high; some cookies are more expensive than in my neighbourhood cafes in Vancouver. The falafel wrap, just one of the items we ordered, was nice to look at and therefore, I want to give the food presentation a big plus. However, overall, the wrap was very dry, and after the second bite, the entire wrap was falling apart. When I looked at my bill of $38, I had high expectations; however, overall, it was not so great. It surprises me that the store, with its high pricing, can stay in business in an economically poor-performing part of the province.

Croffle Breakfast was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The prices were reasonable. The food was tasty and presentable. If we come through Hope again we will definitely have to return.

When my partner lived in hope, we would frequent Hope Mountain Cafe since it's the best in town. While we were visiting recently, we decided to pop in and enjoy our regular order. We love the mega veggie sandwich. They are very generous with the amount of avocado they put in. I recommend this place to every one that stops in hope.

Surprisingly decent pho noodle for a non Vietnamese restaurant. Also liked their crowaffle and drinks. Great place to fuel up before heading out to hwy1, crow’s nest or yellow head. Gas is usually cheaper in the area, too.

We rolled into Hope, BC, starving after a long day of cycling, and Triple O's absolutely saved the day. We were beyond hungry and needed something quick, but what we got was nothing short of incredible! The food was delicious—juicy burgers, perfectly crispy fries, and milkshakes that were out of this world. Every bite hit the spot! But what really blew us away was the staff. They were so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great experience. They went above and beyond to make sure we were fueled up and ready to continue our journey. Honestly, this place is a gem. If you’re ever in Hope and need an unforgettable meal, Triple O’s is the place to be. 10/10, we'll be back for sure! DANK

Service was slow, line was long. Food sat made and ready for a long time but wasn't delivered out, only 3 people were working and they kept leaving the kitchen to deliver food to the cars outside, they didn't wash their hands and when they did it was just a quick rinse under the water before going back to the grill and fryer. One other customer who was ahead of us didn't get served until after 2 people ahead of them got their food and they even complained to the staff about it. I would not recommend if you are in a hurry and the hygiene of the staff was definitely not up to standard.

I had heard great things about Hope Korean Kitchen and finally got a chance to visit—and it was definitely worth it! The food was excellent, both in taste and presentation. My friend and I shared the Beef Bulgogi and a chicken dish, accompanied by two Korean beers. Every bite was delicious and beautifully served. The young server who looked after us was friendly, attentive, and a delight to interact with—really made our experience even better. The atmosphere was alright—nothing too fancy, but the warmth of the service and the quality of the food more than made up for it. Highly recommend for anyone in search of great Korean food in Hope!

Amazing Korean Food and Wonderful Service! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can confidently say it's one of the best Korean restaurants I've ever been to. The flavors were authentic, and every dish was perfectly seasoned. From the sizzling Korean BBQ to the rich and flavorful stews, everything tasted fresh and delicious. The banchan (side dishes) were varied and generous, adding even more excitement to the meal. On top of the incredible food, the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy, yet vibrant, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a special gathering with friends and family. If you're craving authentic Korean food, I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

I'm glad to see this new Korean restaurant in Hope since there weren't many choices whenever I passed by this region. The quality of the food is pretty good. I would visit here again even if it were in my town. If you want to try something new when you visit Hope, this place can be a good choice! Just one thing I hope for from the management is having a couple more soup selections like tofu chicken or bulgogi stew...!

This is a lovely place. I love the name and even more that it's located in Hope. The serving sizes were great and delicious. Plus the pie! I got it with ice cream and my goodness it went together so well! I wish I lived closer to one to go and eat there a lot more often

We stopped by after a day at the lake for dinner. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was great! Big portions and very tasty. We ordered the fish and chips. Me and my family will definitely be coming back!

I had a wonderful experience at Home Restaurant in Hope! The staff were fantastic—friendly and attentive. The food portions were impressively large, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. If you’re visiting the Othello Tunnels, definitely make a stop here. It’s a perfect place to refuel.

Went here for the first time service and atmosphere was great. Tried fish and shrimp platter the portion size worth the price however fish was greasy. Way too oily

During a lengthy road trip, it's convenient to have a quick meal. Ricky’s All Day Grill is conveniently located along the highway. I opted for the breakfast meal, which included bacon, fried chicken with waffles, and hash browns. The brewed coffee is refillable, and the service is great. The food quality is superb and definitely justifies the price. The dining area is generously spaced and well-maintained.

I am an entertainment tour driver. We just spent three days there at the truck stop so we had many meals There. The staff is very attentive and very welcoming. The food portions are huge and food is prepared well.

Stopped through Hope after a day at the lake and had to grab some food here after seeing all the good reviews and am so happy we did! We all good the tortas which was my first time ever trying them and oh man were they ever flavorful! We will definitely be coming by again for more! It's also right near the park which is a great place to sit and eat on a sunny day

We stopped by with our kids today while on our road trip and were shocked by the quality and flavour! They were incredibly delicious, fresh and great value. We intended to take a bite in the parking lot before hitting the road again but ended up eating all of them on the spot. Seriously delicious we will be back!

Food was excellent & service was quick. Only downside is that they have no washroom so you either have to go to the restaurant behind them & buy something there to use the washroom or go to the restaurant across the street. They also have very limited seating.

What a fab place to stop off on our trip through to Vancouver Island. The perfect pitstop! Very warm welcome from the lovely staff. Great choice on the menu. We chose a valley clubhouse, a triple decker ham, cheese, turkey and bacon sandwich and a beef dip melt with shaved roast beef, swiss cheese and fried onion in a hogie and this came with a beef jus for dipping. Both sandwiches were delicious and served with really good fries. This place has so much soul, lots of local regulars all known by first name and a table of gents doing colouring and crafts. I wish I lived here so I could be part of this lovely community :-)

This is our first time here we decided to stop in while traveling through town after seeing the high reviews and we were not disappointed! Great slection of breakfast and lunch options to choose from very friendly staff serving up great food. Would highly recommend if a local in Hope or traveling thru this is a great place to stop in and check out.

First time there,pleasantly surprised..nice ,new clean..the service with a . The food was good and looked very nicely presented.. Tasted fresh not microwave..very professional.. This is a must visit in hope..they deserve the business .. Only thing I would suggest is some dessert like pies.. I will definitely be back

During my recent trip, I had a fantastic experience at this local pizza store. The cozy yet lively ambiance set a perfect tone for a relaxed meal. The pizza was exceptional—the crust was just right, and the fresh, flavorful toppings, particularly the greek pizza, showcased excellent craftsmanship. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our experience was smooth and enjoyable. Overall, this local eatery exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for delicious pizza (they also offered to customize their toppings given I and my friends are vegetarian) and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely return on my next visit!

Just started coming here and was not disappointed! The owner is very friendly, prices are great and the pizza is awesome, tons of toppings. They have so many different specialty pizzas plus a lot more. 5 stars!

Easily the best pizza in town! Flames is one of my favorite places to order from and apart from amazing food they offer top-class service too! Highly recommended! I've tried almost every dish on the menu and I feel all the items are top-notch! Butter chicken pizza is my personal favourite!

We had an incredible meal here on the way back to Vancouver from a camping trip. Our server was incredibly kind and friendly, and the food is DELICIOUS! It’s the perfect pub style menu, but incredibly elevated with fresh ingredients and made with a lot of care. You should absolutely stop here, 11/10 recommend.

Ok, I love this place. Lots of character here. I mean, like, Hope style characters. Friendly and opinionated. Service ranges from ray of sunshine to surly to the whole half of the bar is waiting for a round. I appreciate them all. Old farts, bar stars, pipeliners, locals and people just passing through. A slice of time and place. For pub food they do good. Best I can figure is it is a mix of their own homestyle flair plus whatever cisco tosses into the kitchen. I've had worse, and I've had way better (looking at you, the Dewd) in a pub. But they're not bad! Edit 9/2023 upping their menu game! It’s a good thing! Eat the Skagit burger, it's great. No minors, caeser could be leveled up, and they don't have my drink du jour - could you bring me the growers extra dry apple in a bottle??? - but if not still, I'll be right back. Patio dog friendly if you order a puppy patty they know, they know.

A lovely spot to stop at on a warm summer ride. The place is friendly and the gals serving are particularly kind and welcoming. My cold beer and poutine just hit the spot before I continued home to the Island!!
