Went inside to experience my first time in one and was ignored by the employees, they were not busy with only 3 other patrons inside and 4 to 5 cars in the drive through. After getting annoyed I got in my vehicle and went through the drive through. The employee at the window was visibly aggravated and kept huffing as my card would not tap to pay on his machine on a stick that he was shoving in my widow. He finaly shoves it to me inside my truck and says irritated "Just grab it eh" I don't know how business is normally conducted up here but I hope this is not a norm. In America I would black list this restaurant, never return and pass the word. The espresso I ordered was handed forth with no option for any creamer or sweetners, my sandwich was decent and the donut I ordered was pretty good but was handed to me frosting side down.. I will skip this location in the future.
I mean hey it's a great place to get topped up on Tim's before headin north where there's endless nothingness... but I just have to admit that's a ton of a lot more ice than necessary for a little quencher! I just took a few sips and all of a sudden I see it's empty and I have a cup full of ice in my hand

Good restaurant for northern Alberta, we travel pretty far to get there. The service is great and the food holds up. Only complaint is that they play club music during the evening and are unable (unwilling) to change it. Hurts the atmosphere when buying and expensive dinner.

Nice setting lots of TVs Low key, color lighting. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service. Good food portions quality cooking.
I had the potato cheese soup. It was actually really tasty. Unfortunately, it was a lukewarm. I also had the peppercorn steak with mashed potatoes, and if the vegetable medley was frozen(as another review had mentioned), it sure as heck didn’t seem it to me. The garlic toast was grilled perfectly. Could use more garlic butter on it. (only four stars because of the lukewarm soup and not enough garlic butter on the garlic toast otherwise it would’ve been a five star) The atmosphere I found very appealing, and the chairs were super comfy in the lounge. Also, my server and I’m sorry I can’t quite remember It was either Remi or Reggie. Was a great server and made sure I had everything I needed. I had a couple of Old fashions and they tasted great (they had the orange peel twist, but missing a cherry or two(my preference) the bartender was surinder.
Fast friendly service, and the food was pretty quickly prepared and delishous, better than fast food.

I asked for donairs but once I got them it was like asking for a pita with veggies and the tiniest thinnest donair meat ever seen in my life don’t recommend u wasting your money here people the one one the left is (Matt’s pizza) donair the one on the right is how a donair is suppose to be made
7.1/10 I actually liked the sauce. Good cheese, good crust, nice under carriage and good flop.
Got two of these for a price of 29 dollars! That’s insane. Never coming here again. If you are going to charge a lot for food maybe add some extra fries and another chicken strip. I should have went to the store and bought the ingredients myself, I would have still had money left over.

A cute and cosy little family owned restaurant with really kind people working here. Comfortable and peaceful. My partner ordered sisig and rice, I got pork sinigang and rice. We tasted each other's, and we loved both! The food was flavourful, it was warm and neatly presented. Absolutely will stop by again when passing by and will surely recommend it to anyone asking for places to eat at in this area! The portions were great, too. We left satisfied and happy. Thank you so much, Good Hands Pizza and Asian Cuisine, for the best lunch we could have asked for!
Ordered pizza and wings from them for some quick finned and lunch for my next work day. The owner himself delivered it to me and it was fresh and hot. The toppings are loaded ( I got the deluxe) they didn’t skimp at all. The only thing I wish they did was toss their wings in the sauce rather than just put a little bit. Hard to describe what they did but delicious regardless. Their wings were large and meaty and delicious. I will be eating here again if I work in high level again.
Nope its impossible to hide all that fresh produce, cheese and meats piled between two slices. ‘What do you mean by flavour mastery’ well i love their seafood soup check out this place for more

Came for breakfast with my family this morning. Was sat at a dirty table, asked for it to be cleaned and it wasn’t cleaned. Had to ask twice for a high chair. My son’s food had hair & when we informed the waiter he said “well there’s only a woman working in the back”. Apple juice was insanely watered down. Asked for cube hashbrowns, got shredded. Never once came to ask if we needed anything or how things were , until we were getting ready to leave. Which is when he tried to argue the apple juice & kids meal situation. Service was absolutely horrible.
I had an excellent experience at Denny's in High Level, Alberta. I recently went there for lunch. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The staff were super friendly and made sure everything was just right. The place felt cozy and comfortable, and I even got to play a digital golf game that was so realistic, it felt like I was on a real golf course. Highly recommend!
I recently got a chance to go to a Denny's and Bar One restaurant at High Level, Alberta. I was really impressed by the workers and there services. I went there for breakfast, which was excellent. It was morning and the restaurant was almost full; that is, food was delayed but well cooked. Of course, if you have to get delicious food and excellent service, 5–10 minutes delayed is not an issue. Please visit there for dining out with family. Next time I will try lunch and dinner.

One of the few options in town but definitely worth trying. Skor cupfection is my fav munchies here. Kind staffs and quick service.
June 11, was so nice and customer friendly. He took our order to us at the table, that's so nice of him. He make my evening keep up the good!!
The food was done in under 5 minutes, the staff is excellent and well mannered, the atmosphere is a bit warm but it is a very well maintained and clean building. Update Wed, May 5th, 2023: I ordered and it was done under 5 minutes. Fast food indeed. The cashier was nice and wasn't pushy like you'd see at some fast food restaurants. This food industry never ceases to amaze when it comes to their burgers. 10/10 again.

The food is still delicious!! it’s never a miss, food is always served super hot and fresh and never takes long to be ready. the man working the front counter is very friendly. Yes it’s different since Lana sold but the food is still the same, 10/10 and i order almost once a week.
Good place and food. Service was simple and super nice. Food: Soup, roll and beef egg foo young Drink: Jasmine tea
Finally opened again under new owners. Waited for 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately the wanton soup was not good. The wrappers were mush, it was not even close to the soup that used to come from this restaurant. The chop suey was ok.Will try again in a few months to see if it improves. Edit: Tried again and the food was really good. Fast service, great job on the noodles and chicken balls. Haven't re-tried the wanton soup yet. Edit: wanton soup is pretty good. Huge improvement. Great job.

Went in last night Saturday Sept 20th, 2024. Had a meal in the lounge, and ordered another meal (carnivore pasta) to-go for lunch today at my work site. Opened it up at lunch to find my server had rang in a jambalaya fettuccine. Great, I'm allergic to shrimp. Took it in completely untouched after work looking for a refund, only to find a very unsympathetic manager tell me they don't offer refunds. I get it, policy. But hey they can offer me store credit for the amount but only redeemable at this particular location. It's High Level, everyone here is here for work and I'm leaving back home tomorrow. The rest of the interaction went as follows: "Can I get a gift card that's good for all Boston Pizza locations?" "No..only this location" "That doesn't work for me. I'm leaving tomorrow." "I can order you something to eat right now." "I'm not hungry right now (it's 3:00pm) and I have dinner plans" "Sorry that's our policy." I eventually got her to go talk to "her supervisor" and she came back a few minutes later with a $25 gift card supposedly good for all locations. Unbelievable. I get mistakes happen, and I don't blame the server all that much. But I ordered one thing, and was given something else THAT COULD HARM ME. Un- -believable. A situation like this should result in a FULL REFUND no questions asked. With crappy service like this becoming the norm, it's no wonder why people go to the media with stories like this. Next time I'm in High Level for work, I will absolutely not be going back.
Had a very bad experience… After ordering my steak sandwich well done, I received it medium rare!! No problem so far, can always ask them to fix it. The nice server said they will remake it and I thanked her . 5 minutes later, a lady comes from the back saying that I ordered a medium rare steak and that they will not make it again . I asked for my server back and she fixed the issue by bringing a well done steak sandwich. The stake came after my French fries were frozen cold already, but I just had to live with it!!! The person that came out rude was one of the supervisors eventually??!!
Another great experience at BP. The wings were amazing? I should of just had two servings and be done with it but I decided to try something new. Very bready otherwise was great, nice flavour. Service was outstanding. Knew when I required assistance and food was quick.

Visited for a Sunday breakfast soon after they started. The food was simply too good. I had the salted caramel and banana waffle with a sausage (super 'herb-y' flavours), eggs and hash browns. Pancakes were fluffy, served with foamy cream and sweet caramel on top. The coffee was good too. The place looked quite big but they informed right at the start of the breakfast that the staff is still being trained and so they were only serving a few tables at a time. I hope they bring it up to speed because the food seems totally worth it. Will definitely visit again to try more dishes.
Tried the chicken wings which are always on special apparently . The bourbon glaze was great. It didn’t come with any dipping sauce so this must be an additional side. They seemed smaller than some of the wings I have had elsewhere , but for the price I can’t complain. The Tatertot chicken entree was also tasty and a great meal reminding me of home. One staffer to service the whole place was a bit rough, she was doing a great job but should be a few more staff.
Nice looking restaurant, a nice change from the run-down appearance of most of the restaurants in High Level. It was clean and not very busy for a late morning breakfast. Last week - pancakes and bacon and eggs. The pancakes were cooked pretty well, but the taste of icing sugar reminded me that this is an American corporate chain restaurant with most of its food sourced from Sysco Systems or some similar establishment. Deep fried bacon was nothing special. Eggs were cooked properly, although I was never asked how I'd like them done and I don't really expect there to be any difference - a common Canadian theme. The server was reasonable but it was clear that they had just started and didn't have restaurant experience. A few days later, I made the mistake of trying some type of beef dip sandwich, which contained a quarter pound of overpowering processed swiss cheese, some kind of bland cheap cut of beef prepared en masse, and an almost flavourless Au Jus. It came on plain white bread, which was not the same as the photo on the menu, which was greasy and anemic. The fries were reasonable, but not for the price. I was seated by two people, one of whom passed me onto whomever could be bothered to take the next customer, and then served by yet another person who disappeared once they had taken my order. Three times another server bothered me and forgot that I had already been served. Since my server was gone, I paid at the front counter - sorry to the front of house manager if I intruded on your valuable time standing there. Its not like I'm a repeat customer anyway. Price was the biggest problem I have with this place for this quality of food. Not only does the Debit machine give only three options for tipping all of which were over what I felt was deserved for the service I received. Both my breakfast and my silly sandwich came to $30, which is way way too much for a greasy spoon diner experience. If this is the lack of quality they offer, they should have spent less on decor. Someone in upper management seems to be convinced that they are marketing the Denny's brand instead of serving food to customers. There is nothing to either draw on the familiarity of the Denny's brand nor stand out from any of the other horrible food available in High Level. Walked out after attempting to give them another chance.... ignored by the rude waiter who wouldn't even help me find bacon and eggs ( but walked away from me because I didn't have my order ready 12 seconds after sitting... ) nobody even offered me a drink... Tried the fake bar but since it doesn't have anything on tap, has no mixology program, and closes at 10pm, I was unable to get them to make me chicken wings which she said they could do but then the kitchen was closed.... useless.... Dennys Corporate - get rid of this franchise owner as fast as possible... your name and reputation are plummeting.... on e the honeymoon phase wears off it'll be a ghost town in there just like they did to the attached bar....
