Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Glenshaw – 2024

Went for a concert and it was a great venue. Despite the rain forcing everyone under the covered seating area, it was a great place. I love that they had little lights all around it. There's also a ton of sand in front of the stage. And there was enough area to be covered from the rain. Only downside was they only have Porta potties - - no thank you. The venue was very cute and was in the hills.

I want to offer an update to the below review. The establishment reached out to me to get a better understanding of the server issues and I do appreciate that attentiveness. I also want to offer an apology to the ownership and other staff working as I should have addressed this directly with the manager on duty before leaving a review. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced service this terrible…ordered from the bar several times because our “server” rarely came to the table to check on things. We were never checked on after food was eventually served, dishes/glasses were not cleared and stacked up at the end of the table, no follow up at anytime and most of the bills were incorrectly entered and needed redone. No excuse for this level of service. In response to your request, I have reached out to you via your website.

Wow!! Great night out, wonderful food, Service and Atmosphere Rarely do I give a Five Star review, but this place definitely earned it! Look at our meals and judge for yourself. Indoor and Outdoor seating. Plenty of parking and easy in and out onto road way. I highly recommend this place for your next night out and good food!!

We loved our food and Fall themed cocktails at the restaurant. The cottage pie lived up to the hype, it was delicious! The pot stickers and creme brûlée were also amazing. As noted from a few other reviews, the service staff were very nice but slow. There were long lulls in between the when out waitress came over. But it didn't damper our wonderful dining experience there and we'll be back for sure.

This is a very beautiful place with a rich history. If you are looking for somewhere to host an event, they have catering options. Or if you're looking for a nice place for a date idea, this is your place. Food is excellent here, and their seasonal beers are great.

Our server Alexis did a fantastic job. From the moment we walked in, the hostess couldn't be more accommodating. It was delicious as usual. Looking forward to our next trip back.

Outstanding meal at lL Pizzaiolo. The service was fantastic! The portions are very large, so come with an appetite. The homemade bread was outstanding! The experience at the restaurant is excellent and the atmosphere is calming and relaxing. The appetizers, a fried zucchini and the roasted red peppers and tomatoes were a little underwhelming and not quite as flavorful as I would have expected for the price. When it comes to the pasta, it is all made in house, light, fluffy and prepared as it should be! The lasagna was delicious, however, I felt it maybe could have used a little more red sauce. Large portions at a reasonable price! Highly recommended the Vestigo Montepulciano wine to accompany the food! Delicious! The lemon blueberry cheesecake was outstanding! I highly recommend trying this!

Undeniably, the best lamb chops I’ve ever had. Although I have had many other dishes that were superb, like pasta, pizza, etc. I keep returning for the 8 tasty lamb chops and always have a delicious meal. I dream about returning for more!

Il Pizzaiolo is the closest to authentic Italian that you’ll get in Pittsburgh! The pizza and pasta are excellent and you really can’t go wrong no matter what you choose.

Great food at unbeatable prices... Really don't need to say much more than that. Their lunch specials are incredibly reasonably priced, and I go here off and for that reason. The Hunan Chicken and Penang curry are both excellent. I also a fan of the wonton soup with the lunch special, but it can be hit or miss. Sometimes it lacks flavor to the broth. Check this place out. Very good take out Chinese food in Shaler. However, my family decided to eat inside the restaurant for once it was very good. Definitely try their soup and red dumplings they're amazing!

I ordered chicken fried rice, wonton soup, and an egg roll and it wasn’t even $15!! the chicken fried rice wasn’t as flavorful as I would like it to be, but I loved that the chicken was cut into smaller pieces. the egg roll was pretty good, but the wonton soup was the best I have ever had!! the portions for everything were huge and even better for the price, I will definitely be back.

Reasonably priced BUFFET-Style breakfast. At 10A-10:30 it is very busy. Waffles, pasta, chicken, green beans, salad, rolls, carved ham, omelets, and potatoes are a few of the offerings. The POTATOES are by far the best we've had at any breakfast. The WAFFLES are light, crisp, consistently filled and delicious. The Food was constantly being added, freshened, etc. The cost is $17 a person and juice is $3 as is coffee, so expect to spend around $21 a person, we didn't' order alcohol so I can't quote that. If you don't eat meat your options are a bit more sparse: Potatoes, waffles, salad, bread, beans, or seafood (if you eat seafood) If you are vegan, don't go, you won't have options. Why 4 Not 5 Stars? The DESSERTS are minimalistic as far as breakfast buffets go, offering 2, on the far side of the room where you enter,( you might not even notice them) and wish they were donuts, not a pudding and a brownie, kind of pathetic for a brunch dessert, not even cookies, but that's just IMO. There are NO sneeze guards on the buffet. I am mentioning this solely for those patrons that love to eat at a buffet but really want a sneeze guard associated with their dining experience, cause that is NOT happening here. (do note that the staff was maintaining the food area, nonstop, and it was clean without transfer of serving utensils) Tip: If you prefer to NOT smell like the food, sit in the bar area instead of the main dining area, many were, because there is no exhaust fan and you will smell like what you eat.

Veggies and baked potato had no seasonings. But Importantly there was a $7 difference between the price of 2 beef ribs dinners and the receipt. It was corrected once brought to their attention. Also allow for a Fee when paying with a Credit Card.

Haven't branched out past wings and sandwiches, but it's all been top notch. Most servers are pro's and will be on top of everything. Old school type atmosphere in restaurant area that's always clean and comfortable. Brunch is nice as well.
