Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Frisco – 2024

My first visit to TruFire was by divine orchestration, and as I always say, God/the Universe knows best. My sister & I originally were going to have lunch at J. Theodore but arrived when they had just shut down their kitchen for the afternoon and were only serving cocktails. This prompted us to go next door to TruFire instead. And here we are 24 hours later, where my sister and I are *still* talking about how good it was. We are gluten free and were so pleased to see so many gluten free options. We each ordered an appetizer, a half salad, a protein for the salad AND a cappuccino after the meal and our individual tickets were less than $40 each! Totally worth it! The quality of the food and service were beyond outstanding, and I can't wait to try it again! A little sign & synchronicity during our meal was, I was drawn to our servers necklace and asked her what it said, and it said, "There's a rainbow after every storm." Perfect message for that day, along with a perfect meal. Thank you, TruFire Kitchen and thank you to our sweet server whose name escapes me, but who had beautiful jewelry on!

I went her for lunch with my younger cousin. I made a reservation for 2 on OpenTable. It was an easy drive and parking wasn't hard. The restaurant is in a business complex. RECEPTION: When we arrived, the hostess received us pleasantly. I had booked an indoor table, but we quickly changed our minds and decided to sit outside. The temperature inside is a lil colder than expected, which wasn't bad if the weather outside wasn't so warm and beautiful haha. The hostess sat us outside. Didn't take a few minutes before our server came, her name is Sabrina. We were hungry, so we ordered almost immediately. The food was delicious FOOD: we started with the crab dip served on a platter with flatbread. I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp for entree. My cousin ordered the poke bowl - she wanted the tuna substituted with salmon, but they could only do a add-on. The salmon was a teeny bit saltier than we'd love (hence the -.5) I had the blackberry mojito cocktail so yum. Dessert: since it was my little cousin's birthday lunch, I told the server and she gave us a complimentary birthday cake. It was vanilla ice cream chocolate cake. So YUM! ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere is lovely, definitely classy vibe, the space is dark and warm. They have a screen for games, I guess. SUGGESTION: I'd add a live piano playing or light jazz sounds playing in the background to complete the vibe. All in all, I'd give this place a good 4.5 stars.

I had such an amazing experience ! Everyone was so kind, generous and pleasant. I spent my birthday here and they really made the occasion very special and one of a kind. The atmosphere was homey and inviting. It had a warm, natural lighting. The decorum was perfect. Even though it was an open space, it still felt cozy and intimate. The food was delicious and very satiating. I will definitely return and would recommend to others! Such a wonderful experience.

We came here for our anniversary . We had such an incredible meal and evening. They truly made us feel special on our special evening. The grits are the best. I asked about the cheese, and the chef came out and gave me the whole story about where the cheese came from. It was so over the top in terms of excellent service. I love that they source everything local. Our entire meal was sublime! I hope we can get back here again soon.

I absolutely loved the personal and kind service, as well as the home ambiance. However, the food didn't seem to match the promises of the restaurant. I understand that they use the whole cow and that everything was going to be very natural. So when I got processed meat on my plate, even if it was a homemade sausage, I didn't feel good about the place or about myself eating it. The dishes were not anything memorable, just meh. I wouldn't come back.

Wow!!!! What an experience!!! Food was fabulous!!! So many flavors!! Every thing was cooked perfectly!!! Delivered timely! Hank rocked his service tonight! He went above and beyond to make our experience the best!! In Texas visiting from Washington state, this was by far our favorite dining spot. The food amazing! Service was perfect! Loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!

Tried Kenny’s Burger Joint for the first time tonight! We sat and the bar and service was great. I ordered the Pomtini (pomegranate martini) and it had a cough syrup aftertaste. I also ordered the Bacon & Cheeseburger and Truffle Parmesan Fries. There wasn’t much seasoning on the fries, but the sauce and flavor was good. The burger was very dry. I requested 3 different sauces to try and spice it up. I won’t be running back to this place.

Absolutely loved our visit to Kenny’s! This was our first time visiting, as we are from Raleigh, North Carolina, but visit often due to our work office HQ in Plano. Absolutely delicious!! Our N.C. food /cheese fry options do not too what Kenny’s has to offer. Our server, Kassy, was very attentive, warm, and quick for service. We got the voodoo burgers that are limited time for Halloween season, and it was amazing! We had a great time talking about the giant sandwich eating challenge, and looking at the very expansive hall of shame for those who couldn’t finish We’ll be back!!

The food was decent, however nothing special. I ordered the gyro pita, others at my table ordered the Mac and daddy pasta, country fried steak and kids meal chick fingers. Everything was good and fresh however it was not outstanding. Our server was amazing though, extremely polite and patient.

Every time we come to this place it's AWESOME! Great service and great-tasting food. Happy Hour prices are good & nice portions!

Great tasting appetizers and entrees! I would come back to Texas just for another meal here. The bar has many tvs for football, and the restaurant is very clean!!
