Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Findlay – 2024

I hadn’t been to Tony’s for a few years, but was meeting a friend in Findlay and was feeling nostalgic. The menu has been curtailed a bit, which is fine by me. I always get a little concerned when a menu has too many items - thinking how can they do THIS MUCH well? But one of the things they took aways was the one-trip salad bar that you could add to any sandwich or even the bowl of soup. I always remember enjoying the salad bar and so I ended up ordering a dinner at lunch to get the salad bar included. I was not disappointed. I ended up with a 1/4 rack of ribs and waffle fries and a salad bar that I truly enjoyed. It was a much larger meal than I planned on, but we can splurge every once in a while! I ordered the ribs to get a little something along with the salad bar which would have been $15 on its own anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by the ribs and would definitely order them again. It’s all the toppings that are available on the salad bar and the prepared salads that make it truly wonderful. There aren’t many restaurants around that put that much care into a lineup like theirs. Kudos to the management at Tony’s for a consistently good salad bar for YEARS!

Very disappointed in our food. We ordered Walleye and what we got was fish sticks. Gross fish sticks. Whenever we travel north up towards the great lakes we stop and get Walleye and this was not a stop for that. About the only thing that was good was the Pepsi and the salad bar. You don't see many salad bars these days like Ponderosa used to have.

Have never been there before and was looking for a place to eat. My son had gotten the cod dinner and I had the spaghetti dinner. You also get all you can eat salad bar with the meal. Food was great and salad bar was fresh with enough different choices. I also had 2 slices of garlic bread with the dinner. When we left the place was packed. Good food and the server was on top of everything. She was there before you need to ask for anything. Recommend!!

The egg rolls and salad were good. The waiter was super nice and attentive. Unfortunately the food from the hibachi grill tasted like it had been sitting out for too long or something. I got the chicken and filet and it did not taste right at all The cooks bring the food out with all the trays of rice, meat, noodles etc all stacked on top of each other, so I’m just unsure of the care taken to preserve the freshness of the food.

We've been coming here for several years and there has been some great changes made including customer service, we were going to do hibachi but decided on the sushi bar . The sushi wasn't thin little slivers they were good bite size and the manager was very attentive as he knew we had a beginner server who also did great . deep fried oreos were a nice touch a gift from the manager just because! love the new changes and the updated menu

The hibachi grill is where its at. The chefs show exceptional skill and the food was really good. The sushi was fresh and the experience was wonderful. Great place for a celebration or a nice date.

I would genuinely give the food 10 stars if I could!! This is one of the most immaculate places I’ve eaten!! Although the music is a bit overbearing the atmosphere is amazing on the patio!! The patio is gorgeous!! I got the steak wedge salad and it was EXCELLENT as well as the alforno pasta being absolutely EXQUISITE!! I also recommend the tomato basil soup!! The bistro salad is also an amazing option!!! If you are in the Findlay area please please try this place!!

The vibe, the vibe, the vibe.... this is what they mean when they say, "It passed the vibe check!" Simply beautiful. Went here for an impromptu birthday dinner, and we left angry that we'd been through Findlay so many times and had never stopped her before. First, the aesteics are moody abs modern with dark black walls and a single rose on the table! Pops of silver read fancy without trying too hard. Like she's whispering,... "If you know, you know." Every table feels like VIP sans velvet rope. Can we pause and give the drummer some? In this case, it's the bar! Exquisite!!! Signature drinks, sexy and flawlessly smooth with the perfect flavor profiles and garnished beautifully without doing too much. This is where the art of mixology trump a waiter that runs behind the bar to make a drink every time. Food superb,.... service outstanding. Just go, because frankly, I'm going back. I mean, who the heck makes meatloaf from duck???!!!! Look, it should be illegal the way our eyes glazed over as we were served an entire pork shank! Even the salad was banging! This is an awesome gem in small town America... patronize a business that's doing it right!

Seated and served quickly, our server was attentive. She kept the buns coming and plates were cleared away almost immediately. Meats were cooked perfectly, the sides and apps were great. I wouldn't get the mac n cheese again, though. It was meh. But I'd definitely come back to the Texas roadhouse

Dbl Pork chop meal and salmon salad - hats off to the chef - done better than most. Sat at bar - bit slow, but no real issues (par). Working meal - driving through - just wanted to get a bit of work done and fill the belly - glad I stopped - this location's cooks performed better than most.

My husband and I went there tonight for our anniversary, and I had to write this review because the service was just so good! Every employee we encountered was very nice and upbeat, and our server was awesome! She was one of the best servers I've ever had at any restaurant! Personable and attentive and just seemed to love her job! The food and drinks came quickly and tasted very good, although the portion sizes were a bit small. All around great experience!!

Juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection, they are a testament to the chef's commitment to quality. The portion sizes are generous—enough to satisfy even the most ravenous traveler or local alike. Service at the Tavern can be a bit hit-or-miss. Some days, you might find yourself marveling at the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, while on others, you might feel slightly neglected. Yet, this minor inconsistency doesn't detract from the overall experience. It's the food that keeps you coming back. It's a place worth visiting, if only to remind yourself that excellence can be found in unexpected of places.

Quaint space with huge delicious dishes! Everything was great, including the sauerkraut ball appetizer and the complementary bread and oil. The staff were attentive and friendly. Did I mention the portions are HUGE! Price is high but inline considering each order can feed you a few times if you are willing to eat leftovers.

I've lived in Findlay my entire life and could have never imagined there was perfection being grilled right down the street from me. I started with a Tom Collins mixed drink and some Brisket Nachos. The Nachos were massive, enough to feed 4 people, the bread was hot and when dipped in olive oil was just excellent. The lady got the bacon wrapped meatloaf and mashed potatoes which she said was wonderful and for my dinner, the coconut pecan crusted flounder and a side of lobster bisque. Now seafood lovers, beware, this was probably the best fish I've had so far from the coast. The coconut was subtle and the pomegranate glaze was just the right touch. Wonderful experience and will be returning. Special thanks to the chefs and to our server Kim ♡ She was wonderful and did an amazing job, give that girl a raise .

The atmosphere is wonderfully inviting, with a modern yet cozy decor that makes for a perfect dining experience. The service was fantastic from start to finish; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food at Styx is nothing short of delicious. The fried sake chicken was a standout dish, perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. The mussels were cooked to perfection, tender and well-seasoned, making them a highlight of the meal. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. However, there was a small hiccup during our visit. One of the side dishes we ordered was incorrect, and while the staff acknowledged the mistake, they didn't make much effort to rectify it. It was a bit disappointing, but it didn't overshadow the overall experience. Despite this minor issue, Styx remains one of Findlay's best places to eat. The excellent atmosphere, top-notch service, and exceptional food make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I highly recommend giving Styx a try—you won't be disappointed.

The food is out of this world! So delicious and the staff bartenders and everyone else are so kind and nice! I really enjoyed myself and would highly recommend this delicious food. It is very hard to describe the style of food, but one thing that is most certain is that the food is amazing! I would highly recommend this place whether you live in Findlay, Ohio, or are just passing through the area! From a night out with family or an intimate dinner date; they’ve got you covered! Also in the summertime they have wonderful music throughout various nights! Feel free to check them out and make sure to let them know that Mike Williams On Sax sent you!

Great food, great service and amazing drinks! Our friends got us a gift card for here and we're so happy they did. You MUST make reservations! They were turning people away if they didn't have them. I would highly recommend getting the fries! They're so good and you get enough for 4 people! The food menu is smaller than the drink menu, but they make a delicious Old Fashioned with luxardo cherries (which is the only way to make them). I'm only giving 4 stars because they choose where you sit without giving you the option. We had to sit outside and I don't necessarily enjoy eating outside with bugs, loud traffic and in the heat. Thank you so much! Can't wait to see you again!

I am a little late in posting this considering this took place the beginning of October. We had my son and now daughter in laws wedding rehearsal dinner in the upstairs dining area, also known as Boo's Lounge. It was private, and it had a chill vibe to it. The food was great. Gabby was our bartender/server. She was fantastic. Kept up at the bar, attended to everyone and had a great personality to boot. I was shocked at the end of the night when she told me that we were the first party she has worked. In my opinion, she handled herself like a boss.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. Italian restaurants are not my first pick, but this place was fabulous. The demeano of the building were rustic and very cool. Stuffed mushrooms were superb. The side salads were good. The bread sampler was more than adequate. The main dishes both tasted phenomenal. My cheesy potato pie slice was very unique. The service was spot on. The prices seemed very reasonable, especially for the quality. I have nothing other than praise for this restaurant. I can't wait to return in the future.

$52 donation non cibo italiano need to improve the italiano dishes and Tiramisu on your menu is more just like a cream cake.you have to dip the sponge cake in coffee you have to use mascarpone cheese your almost there. Or maybe I'm just used it away we cooked in Italy.

I was unsure of the location of this place but I was pleased to see it is inside the Hancock Hotel. One of the first things to note is how clean the employees and facility was. I ordered the NY Strip. I thought it was excellent and that nothing needed to be changed. Cohl was an excellent waiter and I would highly recommend him. A bit out of budget on this one but that is to be expected with Mancy’s sister location. Excellence all around.

True Mancy's experience in a different location! Top notch food, service and atmosphere. We shared a Roasted Cauliflower Salad and each ordered a steak done to perfection. The only improvements could have been the restaurant temperature and we missed the soup. It was freezing! After about an hour we joked with our server and to his credit he adjusted it making the rest of our time more enjoyable. We split a specialty salad, however, we weren't offered a choice of soup when ordering our meal. Strange. Overall, very little could dampen our experience. Outstanding meal!

Great wine selection at reasonable prices. The steaks were well prepared. All of our appetizers were delicious. Excellent service.

Logan's Pub is one of those places that, at first glance, might seem unassuming. Tucked away with limited parking, it's a spot where finding a space can be a test of patience, especially when it gets busy. But like many hidden gems, the effort to get there is part of the adventure, and what waits inside makes it all worthwhile. Service at Logan’s is decent—not always stellar, but it gets the job done. The staff hustles, especially when the place is packed, which is often. Yet, the occasional wait and the parking hassle fade into the background when the food arrives. The fish and chips here are excellent, the kind that remind you of the best pub fare across the pond. Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned, it's a dish that speaks of tradition and comfort. Their Reuben is another standout—hearty, flavorful, and loaded with all the right fixings. And then there's the Guinness. Logan’s pours a solid pint, the kind that would make any pub-goer smile. It’s a place where you can settle in, sip slowly, and savor the simple pleasures of good food and drink. Logan’s Pub may not be the easiest to get to, and it can get busy, but it’s the kind of place that rewards persistence. It’s a slice of authenticity in a world where that’s becoming increasingly rare, and for that, it’s well worth a visit.

Delicious Irish Pub food! Potato pancakes were yummy, Shepard's Pie was excellent and the Fish and Chips were one of the best I've had in Ohio. We will definitely be back!

Terrific food! So glad we pulled over to eat here on our way home from Kentucky. Unique menu items and everything was delicious! If you’re in the area stop by!

Food and atmosphere were awesome! Selection of beer was good. Lots of options. Didn't have one we didn't like in our flight. My wife is still bragging about their Fort Findlay Donut BLT that actually has a donut as the bun. I had the Aloha Burger and was very pleased! Im not from around the area (Michigan), but will like to come back!

Really good food. We stopped in today with our 4 kids. There was a bit of a wait while some tables cleared out, but the staff was courteous and got a table ready as quickly as possible. Between the pretzel appetizer, monthly special, burgers, donut BLT, and kids chicken fingers everyone found something yummy! The flight of beers I chose went well with the chicken Parmesan sandwich that I ordered. No pictures of the actual food, but you'll see the menu, as well as January specials, and January activities. Check their website for the active draft list. I'm glad my wife only works a block away. We'll be back!

Found this brewery while visiting the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions about the beer and food. Definitely on my short list to visit when I'm in the area again.

Overall, great! The pricing was what was most surprising to us, very fair pricing! The food was tasty and found the steak very tender. The kids meals were fine and the kids enjoyed them.

The burrito that I got was great. I got the grande breakfast burrito and it had a great flavor. I added the salsa and sour cream to it, which made it better. The kids’ breakfast was a nice size for them and they liked eating it. My girlfriend got the chicken chipotle omelette and she said that it was great too. Overall it was a nice place with great food at a decent price.

The smash burger was amazing. The fresh cut fries were great. My other lunch partners had the same experience with their food. Highly recommend.

I stopped in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. My server was friendly and attentive and recommended the buffalo chicken wrap and broccoli cheddar casserole. I took one bite of the buffalo wrap and it completely fell apart. I ended up eating it with a fork. The broccoli cheddar casserole tasted like broccoli and melted cheese. Nothing great, nice atmosphere and standard food.

I wanted to like this place so bad. Everyone raves about the biscuits so my sisters and I were excited to give this place a try. I don’t usually write reviews but this really needs to be addressed. (1) Our waitress and service was not acceptable. We were greeted by her with an attitude at first impression. She made us feel unwelcome and rushed the whole time. She never gave us her name so I can’t even mention her in the review. While bringing our appetizers she had her thumb in our spinach dip and her sleeve in our salsa. She barely removed our dirty dishes and when we ordered dessert and asked for a few extra plates. She told us we had to wait until she seats her party table. (I understand being busy and needing time. I was an experienced waitress myself ) but this way was disrespectful to a point my entire party felt neglected. She did not deserve the tip she was given (2) The place was dirty! Dishes, cups & the bathroom needs attention. (3) this biscuits were mid at best. I can say one positive thing about my experience. Their “Pain killer” cocktail was delicious!

Clean restaurant and friendly waitress! Not a bread fan but I can’t resist the croissants they start your meal with. The food was good. What you expect and nothing more although the portions are large. You pay on a table entertainment “pad”. We had a game on our recipe that we didn’t purchase. The waitress was quick to fix it for us.

My Ma and I eat here every so often. Ma got a carry out order of a country fried steak with 2 mashed potatoes as her sides. I usually get breakfast no matter what time of day it is. They have great pancakes and sausage patties. It’s not overly expensive to eat here and it’s home cooked food. Come on down to the farm! The staff is polite and on top of things.

Something was definitely wrong with the sausage that both my son and myself received. It really had the taste of soap. Neither of us could eat it and the wait staff did not even inquire if our food was good.

I would like to let the owner of Bob Evens know that I took my brother out to eat and his legs gave out. Your waitress jumped right in to help!!! These ladies deserve a gold medal. Came here for a wedding and had an amazing time. The venue itself had a very unique look and feel that was quite enjoyable by itself. The food was delicious. I had a great time.

Options! Many different beer options on tap (including 2 nonalcoholic options), different bars on each level (3 total) and a good food menu. Trivia night on Monday, flight night on Wednesday and music trivia on Thursday. (Going off memory from signs I saw posted about the events.) My group went for trivia but quickly became content with the patio tables, food and drink!
