10/10 Service. Great atmosphere. Robert, the waiter is absolutely incredible. It was my friend's Birthday, he was completely on top of all 6 orders and constant drinks. Friendly & professional. We even got him to sing my friend Happy Birthday & take a GREAT photo of us all! Such a gentleman. Drinks were very well made. The food was AMAZING. Definitely suggest trying the Baby Kale Cesar Salad and Ahi Tuna! Yum! I will definitely be back!
I have been meaning to write a review for The Davis for quite a while, and thought I should now. I have had dinner here many many times over the years and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal or experience. I think it is one of the most underrated restaurants in Eugene. I love to go out to eat and The Davis is consistently delicious and a great atmosphere for partners, friends, or whoever else you love to eat with. When they have their raw oysters they are my favorite in town, and I think their Salmon is cooked better than any place locally that I’ve had it, and it’s extremely reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. The drinks on the cocktail menu are creative and delicious, and they have good wine with multiple varieties available by the glass. The service is always wonderful, and I’ve never noticed a wait for food/drinks even when it is busy for dinner. I have many pictures of my food from over the years but attached are some recents!
The Davis pours from an outstanding champagne list with multiple offerings from each of the five sub regions of champagne -- the best offerings I've seen in a restaurant. Used Resy to request the 2012 Vintage RH Coutier Champagne "Millésime" be chilled in advance of our reservation. Breathing for the first time in 12 years -- proved to be a most exceptional champagne. Last bottle of the evening was the Thierry Triolet Rosé Brut, requested so we could share with other guests; utterly refreshing perfection for $55/bottle. Foragers in our party ordered the Porcini Mushroom Ravioli with Spring Vegetables, Domestic & Foraged Mushrooms, Green Garlic, Sunflower Seed Nettle Pesto which surprised us with a very tasty morel sauce topped with delicious roasted piñons. Then there was the Chef's Board: with cheesy grits, brie cheese, house cured bacon, jalapeño cheddar sausages, with fresh berries and watermelon. Jicama Citrus salad. Experience was so good came back to try another, "The V6 experience" from Andre Clouet, also from the Montage de Reim area. Six years on the second lees, presented as golden yellow ambrosia with powerful structure with bea honey lingering in the mouth after wards. Rated 93/100 by Parker for good reason. Dishes: the Shrimp and Grits -- Blackened Shrimp, Abenaki Corn Grits, Cheddar, Charred Green Chili Butter -- came out quickly and was inhaled with equal speed by the southerner at the table who declared it was very, very good. A double "very" is high praise. In the end, decided to take some bottles home with us because there were more we wanted to try and knew it would be a little while before we could come back. Took home champagne from each of the five sub regions because there was a multi bottle discount. Worth asking about. Service was attentive. Ambiance lovely.

Beautiful place, amazing views, delicious food, kind staff. We started with the mushroom bruschetta. I had the sea bass, perfectly cooked with risotto and a generous cup of carrot ginger bisque. He had the double pork chop with a roasted Brussels sprouts and a vegetable hash. We finished with a Marion berry crumble. All the flavors were bright and crisp—a perfect complement to a mild fall evening. Our meal was made extra-special by our server, Robbie, who was friendly and attentive. Lovely evening.
Wow! Talk about reopening with a bang! Sweet Waters is a whole new experience now. Only being reopened 4 days and they are truly on to something. The new layout, decor and overall ambience is elevated to say the least. No longer dated, very contemporary, with both beautiful and cozy touches. The service was top notch, warm, inviting and attentive without being intrusive. The manager Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were seated on the patio with a great view of the river. -The food- one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We tried the Salmon Corndogs, incredible. The calamari was perfectly cooked, the crispy sweet pepper garnish was excellent. I had the Scallop entree and my husband had the Halibut. They were both beautifully presented, cooked perfectly and packed full of flavor. Finally we had the Marion berry crisp a la mode, the perfect way to end a lovely meal on a summer evening on the patio. We definitely recommend it and we will be back again soon!
This place was lovely. Great food with a great atmosphere. We had a variety of dishes that had some great twists. We will definitely return.

Wonderful all-round experience for refined meals that don't exceed the limits of reason. I personally got the poutine, catch of the day dish (Chinook salmon), and a goat cheesecake to finish. Everything was perfectly seasoned and had contrast in its components, so as to not be monotonous or too rich. The staff were very friendly and provided wonderful service throughout my dining experience. Overall, very highly recommended for a fancier dining experience in the Eugene area!
I have mix feelings about this restaurant. I gave myself a cooling off period before writing this review, which also allowed me to compare it to other Eugene restaurants. The restaurant ran out of multiple entrees by 7pm, with a relatively small menu. We chose second choices. Our waiter was either inexperienced or not good at his job. Not familiar with menu, items on the menu, etc.. We started dinner on the patio, but were overwhelmed by flies and bees. Was uneatable out there, and we were moved inside. The food was too salty for my palate. Dessert (goat cheese cheesecake) was also a miss in execution, despite being two of my favorites. The food was pretty in its presentation. Though on fiestaware plates. I am reluctant to be critical of a restaurant probably struggling to provide quality meals and experience in a small city setting. However, I don't feel the level of this restaurant experience justifies to the cost of the meal... too pricey for what we received. Relatively small portions too. I had better meals and service and lower prices at other restaurants in Eugene on this trip. This may have been an off day for rye restaurant, but this was my experience.
Went to Rye for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the food and especially by the cocktails. i recommend the cocktail “the cure”!! my favorite thing by far were the brussels sprouts w halloumi (wish it had more bacon pieces), my steak came out to be more medium well than my request of medium but the chimichurri was fantastic and leveled up the dish FOR SURE! our waiter was a bit interesting and i felt kinda rushed at times but overall decent.

Stopped here based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Staff were really welcoming from the point we arrived and were able to find us a table during a busy Friday night. Food and drinks were excellent and cooked to the right level. Will be back again when in the area
We had a WONDERFUL experience for dinner tonight! Our server was Kaitlyn she was SO attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks. She was so kind to my kids too! Our food was cooked perfectly! Usually whenever you request a medium rare burger at any other restaurant it’s a gamble whether you actually get a M.R burger but ours was perfect! All of our food was super hot! And our drinks were amazing! I had a coconut gimlet and I LOVED it. I also watched and it was obvious they have great team work with their employees. I watched their host and bar tender would run food to ensure it was hot when they had a free minute. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone!
Best food in Eugene. All homemade. You can taste the goodness. The staff is impeccable. Servers, bartender, chef, kitchen assistants, wait staff and management Work together seamlessly to provide a total foodie experience. Their menu and drinks are discounted during Happy Hour 3-6 pm. Average savings of 10%. This food and service does not need to be discounted. It is just one more example of a quality experience this establishment wants to create for their guests. Well done North Fork. We are excited to return. You will not be disappointed in quality, quantity and yes price. A strong 10/10.

It's a cute place. The food was good, but not amazing. They have thin hard french fries I'm not fond of. The staff was really nice.
Relaxing restaurant/bar on the river. I ordered the burger with tater tots, very tasteful with their special sauce. The atmosphere was relaxing with river views. Happy hour is every day 3pm-6pm and 10pm-11pm.
Our server Jayden was great and timely. For those that know McMenamins it's normal for slow service but not the case at this location river view good company and food was good.

We had an excellent Anniversary dinner. The service was amazing and went above and beyond to make it a special evening. The food was incredible as always
Service was outstanding and food was great as well. We had been wine tasting prior to our visit, so we were a little full, otherwise we would have ordered more food! Warm hazelnut starter and cod croquettes really stood out; very simple, but awesomely delicious. Croquettes were rich, but the portion size was perfect as to not get too full. Wife had the roasted chicken, and I got the salmon. Both were cooked really well and their accompaniments were a good pair. Only minor nit is I thought the salmon was slightly underseasoned, but they had salt on the table, which remedied that issue. Cocktails, wine, and after-dinner drinks were all spot-on. Definitely check this place out.
This was the best preparation of Sturgeon I have ever had. I sat at the bar as it was a full house and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and very polite and respectful! I eat out often and this place has great atmosphere and mouth watering food. I don’t understand the 4.3 Google but it is a 10 for me.

Charming atmosphere and surprisingly well prepared and presented food. The airstream bar and seating is cozy and a quaint touch. We had the oysters, Cesar and beet salads, gnocchi, salmon, Cornish hens and cake. Everything was delicious. Personal and friendly service. We look forward to coming back!
5 star experience! Our waiter was great and attentive, plus the atmosphere was great. A wonderful spot for a date night or fancier dinner. We were traveling through and decided to stop here and glad we did. Everything was SO delicious! Deviled eggs were yummy (wish it was more than just two) and the vegetable sides perfect. I would recommend the curried carrots! The side of fries is a good 1 lb and they are fried perfectly. The space itself was super cool as they have an airstream inside and you could even dine IN it. Would come back again!
Wow! When in Eugene this is a must. Just make a reservation, you won’t regret it. Thank you Lion and Owl for the DELICIOUS buckwheat pancakes, eggs, and brisket. We plan to return to try the lunch menu. Oh, and request to sit in the airstream.

We were absolutely enchanted by this place. The vibes, the food, the service were all amazing. Jean the bartender was so helpful with recommendations and information. (Thank you for the hot Bourbon&Ginger medicine!) As a pastry chef who went through a crazy poached pear phase; theirs is amazing, I tip my toque. Also, the plant based butter sauce on the sweet potato is to die for!! I NEED a jar of it to cover every bit of my thanksgiving meal (including the jello salad)!! Let me know when y’all decide to sell it, I’ll come back to Eugene for it! (And honestly no other reason)
Never been to a place quite like this, I went with a friend and we had drinks that were top-notch, and a variety of food that was all very well. Done most remarkably the calamari, I was under the impression that calamari was chewy, this place showed me how calamari is supposed to be cooked for the first time in my life! I was surprised by the old country music playing in the restaurant, Bob Wills and the Texas playboys sort of western swing . I will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to a friend !
This is an awesome spot to get very well made Asian inspired food. The vibe is casual and relaxed and the people are fantastic. The menu is a large selection of shareable plates that you order throughout your meal. No pressure on your pace, just take your time and enjoy great food with your people.

Just dropped in on Sunday and picked up two Cajun boil bags. Was happy to find they had them because I forgot to order ahead of time. The counter person was very friendly and helpful putting them on ice for the ride home. This was a great meal and there was more than plenty for four people. Oh and that price point really feels like a great bargain. Can't wait to do it again!
Fantastic, very helpful staff since I had never been there. Plenty of things to choose from. I wanted the lobster raviolis, but also wanted several other things. I ended up going with the crawfish pot pie. Definitely didn't dissapoint. Flaky crust and lots of filling with the perfect amount of spice. Very hearty and filling.
The true meaning of a family-run business. Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Loved the coleslaw and the authentic sauces. I would love to come back.

Falling Sky Catering is absolutely the best company to go with for your next event. Party, corporate lunch, wedding, baby shower etc. Their charcuterie puts all competitors to shame. Great servers and amazing food in a relaxed atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Really appreciate the kids menu and mocktail options. Highly recommend the stroganoff and fish tacos. Nachos are top shelf!
We stopped in at Falling Sky and had a great time. The people were great and we really enjoyed the food and beers. Don't miss the truffle Mac and cheese. It is awesome!

My partner and I recently visited BJ’s Restaurant for a much-needed getaway, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for a cozy dining experience. We were especially impressed by the outstanding service provided by Chris H., who was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our visit special. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. I opted for the California Chicken Sandwich with a gluten-free bun substitute, and it was incredibly satisfying. The flavors were well-balanced, and the gluten-free option was executed perfectly, without compromising taste. My partner chose the jambalaya, which was richly seasoned and delightfully hearty, making it a perfect choice for anyone craving a burst of flavor. Overall, BJ’s Restaurant delivered an exceptional dining experience that we won't forget. We left feeling happy and satisfied, looking forward to our next visit.
Did curbside pick up which is very convenient. It wasn’t ready on time but that was no big deal. Unfortunately, the food was really underwhelming. The dish was around $24.50 and it was supposed to come with asparagus but that was forgotten. The food tasted good but I won’t be doing that again. This was the New Sals Brewhouse Chicken.
I ordered the trio pizookie from Ubereats tonight and was left bummed. The brownies were not cooked all the way, the amount in each dish was very small, they were wrapped in aluminum foil, the chocolate was mixed with the nuts and we got tiny little containers of ice cream. I’ve ordered this dessert through doordash many times so I know what the typical order looks like so this was just a bummer. I’ll stick to ordering from DoorDash I guess.

WOW, we are obsessed with this place! Italian food so good it makes me want to move nearby just so I can have it regularly. Ambiance is lovely, staff is great, and every bit of food was spectacular (appetizers, entrees, and desserts)! So fresh and well-balanced! The total tiramisu fanatic I was with found this tiramisu to be the BEST he's had anywhere in the entire US. Cannot recommend enough!!
Appreciated the fast service, great recommendations and specials from the servers. The Italian Rose is a new favorite . While there isn't any gluten-free pasta there are several seafood and salad based dishes (and a risotto) that can be made.
Intimate Italian restaurant with excellent pasta dishes, a refined wine list, and warm interior. Went for a celebratory dinner and enjoyed the caprese, the ravioli special and a lovely glass of Montepulciano. Our service was outstanding and our view of the sunset over Eugene was lovely. Will return again with more company. Highly recommend this neighborhood trattoria.

Such a great place! My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and we had an amazing time! Their cocktail list is inventive, I especially loved the cocktail with lovage! We did a tasting menu with wine pairing. Each dish was unique, interesting and paired incredibly well with the wine served! Highly recommend this place!
Definitely recommending this place to friends and family. Impressed by the sea bass, tomato salad and the lovage gin cocktail. Overall a wonderful experience. The outdoor space could've been tended more.
Had the chefs tasting menu and was not impressed. May consider returning to try another menu option but not likely. Scallops looked a mess, and please keep in mind the pictures are of two portions on each plate.

The food was amazing!! I got the fettuccine davide and it did not disappoint! Pasta wasn’t perfectly cooked! Atmosphere was warm and inviting! I even overheard the chef singing! I went with a friend and my card didn’t go through and the manager just comped my meal without telling me! I am overwhelmed by their kindness! I will definitely return!!
Ambiance was lovely. I love the old world charm and antiques! The rosemary bread was delicious! The chicken parmesan was good, but I disliked the watery noodles that made my Parm soggy. The flavors were good though. We shared desserts of cheesecake and mouse. Both were fantastic!
In the Eugene area, one of our preferred places to enjoy a delightful dish. From the moment you walk in, the smells from the kitchen fill your mind with multiple choices of fine tasting portions. The drinks are always well mixed and there is great diversity in choice. The atmosphere is comfortable and one to appreciate given the historical furniture and design. We have always been treated with excellent customer service.
