Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Estevan – 2024

First time we went food was good and so was the service. Second time we went hubby's pizza was soaking wet, under cooked and tasted freezer burnt. They did remove it from the bill, but took a bit for them to do so. He'd only taken a couple of bites and wasn't eating it. Was disappointed as we had hoped to have a good meal again.

Stopped late on a Wednesday, got a suggestion from the Best Western, not busy at 7:00 PM, ordered wings, Bartender was all over, 35 mins later got cold wings, and a second beer, wow, not someplace I will go again, the customer all locals were amazing

Came here after a work event with my colleagues. We all enjoyed our meals, and the service was fast. I had the hopper pizza and it was a delicious all dressed Regina style pizza. My colleague had the brisket (Thursday’s special) and said it was delicious! It looked great. The space is large and has several VLTs as well as a pool table.

Was optimistic for this restaurant by the other reviews and we were very disappointed. The ceiling is covered in brown water stains, the booth seats were cracked and peeling. The server was less than enthused to be there..... I'm not sure if it was possible to be any less engaged in their tast at hand. We ordered Ceasars and I didn't even drink mine. I ordered wings, they were all drumsticks. I had to ask for a side of ranch to go with Buffalo wings. No celery or carrot sticks that normally accompany a plate of wings. The seafood melt was pretty disappointing, it tasted ok but not alot of flavor, served with soggy peas as a side. The French fries however, were excellent. Over all we were disappointed with the service, and our entire meal. Will not be back and would not recommend.

The guy on The phone wouldn't sell me the pizza I asked for I ordered 2 pizzas and said I can only get 3 toping I said I would pay more he said I couldn't

Comfy place to eat, great staff, and great food. Especially the fries!!

Fantastic! My hubby and daughter and I went for my hubby's 50th birthday. We ordered a few different dishes to share and they were all awesome. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone passing through.

A pleasently, surprising traditional Chinese food experience at Wayne's in Estevan. Amazing huge crispy Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls. Giant Chicken Balls and Delicious Ginger Beef and Ginger Pork with sweet candy like coatings. Good size portions, quality food and friendly service. Loyal customers.

Always a pleasure to eat there or take out. The special for one is amazing. Great wonton the best fried shrimp ever. It’s not just the Asian cuisine that is good there. Delicious burgers!!

We are traveling across Canada. We had a beer in the Flats in Moose Jaw because we were looking for a good selection of beers on tap. It was really nice so we decided to have dinner at the Flats in Estevan. We'll not nearly the atmosphere. Far from it. But the food was very good. And I must say our waiter, Lito, was so great. Very personable and genuinely wanted us to have a nice evening.

Lito was an awesome worker, me and my friend came in just past closing and he still served us because we were hungry. Awesome service awesome everything the wings were absolutely amazing and would 100% recommend. They actually care about their customers and not just finishing their shift I love it.

I ordered the honey dill wings & they were way too saucy. I told the waitress and she didn’t do anything about it “oh sorry” is all she said. Not the waitress’s fault though, my friend ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and there was more sauce on it than anything else.

The new renovation is very nice The food is amazing and always great service.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The food was OUTSTANDING. One of the best meals I have had this year. The interior decor might be cafeteria style but the food is world class. If you are in Estevan, go go go here. Also the staff were super friendly. They are the complete dining experience.

Customer service +++, dont miss trying creamy prawn! Food is good. Never miss crispy crunch roll, dragonfly roll and crazy girl roll. This is a must when you’re in Estevan.

The very best bar and food in Estavan. New craft taps to try every week. If you like what you tried then stop over at the Ice Factory and take home a few craft beers that you tried home with you.

There was only one waitress, and she was hoping, she did well considering there should have been 2. My buddy won the free steaks from the radio contest, so I shouldn't complain, but my wife's medium rare was more rare than my rare (mine was more well done) the taste was OK, I'm not saying they were terrible steaks, but they weren't fabulous either. Service was quick, food was OK, overall it was OK

Flavorless cold steaks, comes out with appies no time to enjoy your appy or the salad before you plain Jane steak comes out. Staff is yelling at eachother in the kitchen..

On entering, we noticed a lovely little outdoor patio with seating for people who wanted to enjoy being outside. As soon as we walked in the door there was a lovely lady brought us a complimentary dish of homemade potato chips-very tasty! The menu had lots of variety to choose from. My husband ordered one of the brisket platters. He said it was very good but that the brisket itself was a little fatty but very tasty. He loved the beans and the biscuit that went along with it and the fries were amazing. We both agreed that the coleslaw lacked the tanginess that one expects in coleslaw but the taste was ok. I ordered the plain bacon cheeseburger. It came out and looked gorgeous and juicy and smelled great. Sadly, I didn't realize that the hamburgers were made with onions. I wish I would have known because I would have ordered something different. That's about the only criticism I have , and that perhaps have an option for hamburgers without onions. (Or maybe state in the menu that your burgers have onions incorporated into the hamburger.) All in all a nice little out of the way place to eat.

This is what GOOD BBQ is all about! I ordered the brisket platter with beans, fries and the biscuit. I wasn’t crazy about the fries but the BEANS ARE *chefs kiss* absolutely spectacular. The burnt ends are flavourful and smoked perfectly. The cold mac and cheese salad is creamy and delicious. The biscuit is not dry at all, it’s moist and flaky. I’m so happy I found this place on Google. My compliments to the chef, they know what they’re doing in that kitchen!

I have been to Beatz Eatz twice now. Everything is fresh and handmade. The flavours are excellent, my husband finds some things too spicy. So, I guess it'll depend on your spice preferences. The Burnt ends are very good. The mushroom Swiss burger is very good. The bacon-grilled cheese special was excellent. Fries are hand-cut and very tasty, these are sprinkled with their spice mix and can sometimes be extra spicy. If you aren't into that just ask for no spices. The biscuits I could eat a plate of just biscuits they are perfect. The service the first time was good. The second time we went about 4pm, it wasn't busy but I found the young girl on shift wasn't very attentive, left the menus on the table during our whole meal, left an empty basket from the house-made chips on the table even though it was emptied pretty quickly during our whole meal, no refills on our drinks, and didn't bring me ketchup which I asked for multiple times.

We were passing thru town and chose Eleven24 for dinner. The food was ok but nothing great. We had the Yorkies which were fine, the spaghetti and meat sauce was huge and again ok. The sweet potato bowl was just fries with grilled peppers, cheese and Italian seasoning sprinkled on top. It needed something to pull it all together. The service was excellent, very attentive and hustling all the time.

Thank you so much for the wonderful evening our group of 22 had last night. We celebrated the life of our Mom in Carnduff and then came to have supper at 1124 SH. 5 stars all around ! Thank you !

Went for supper tonight, not really anything to write home about. We started with the Yorkies, which were good. I had the cod&chips, the fish were soggy and dripping in oil, kinda gross. The side veggies were a serving of grilled onions with a few zucchini thrown in for colour. The wrinkle fries were boring and bland, so wrinkle fries. The steak my wife had was very good and cooked correctly. Her side veggies were the same story, a huge pile of grilled onions. I ordered a soup that never came and they forgot my wife’s salad. The service left much to be desired, having to ask multiple times for items and long waits for drink refills. It was by no means slammed and would expect more. May not come back.

From start to finish a great experience! Our server Cody was so helpful and friendly, he was efficient and we never felt rushed. I asked for something that wasn't on the menu based on something else I saw on the menu and he was great, easily said "no problem". The food came out in good time well presented and absolutely delicious!! We ate every morsel, with the competitive pricing this is a no-brainer stop anytime you might be in Estevan!

Very quiet and an awkward atmosphere but the staff were alright. My main issue was the food… We used to live here and LOVED Eddie’s but since then it has definitely gone down fill… My pasta was under cooked and the sauce was just unflavoured oil-not a cream. The potions sizes have also gone seriously down with the price going up, which is disappointing. DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK SANDWICH! My friend got the smallest piece on “medium rare” steak which was less than a cementer thick and far over cooked… Let alone the actual meal was pricey but yet very cheap and boring quality. However, I feel Eddies has the opportunity to be great again but NEEDS to step it up ASAP!

We have had past experiences here that were much better but unfortunately this visit wasn't great. The food was very good but the service was exceptionally slow. It was almost an hours wait for food. We never had him come back to see if everything was ok until we were done and trying to get his attention for the bill. The table behind us was also complaining. There was a full dining area , we couldn't get a table at all but they seated us in the bar area which was super noisy with loud music (I'm not old so don't come for me about the music being too loud lol) but there were only 4 tables of people when we got there so busy is relative. We will go back because it's such good food but not on a Saturday and not in the bar area. We had the butter chicken, the Cajun chicken wrap, the Cajun chicken tacos (spicy!) and the mac & cheese skillet.

Wait staff was SO BUSY both times I went (supper and breakfast), but were smiling and friendly. Food was fresh and filling. The fries are a must-have. This restaurant even had a coffee row table like a small town. This is the place to come. The heart of Estevan!

Showed up with a group of 15. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal unless you ordered the shredded hash browns. Mine were cold inside, along with 3 others who ordered at my table. When they brought a second order out, they were burnt on the outside of the serving. Of course then all you could taste was burnt hash browns. They took one plate from our table and stuck it in the microwave behind us. None of us were impressed. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Visited Estevan to see my. Son and family, and my daughter and I took my granddaughter here for a birthday breakfast. Food, service, and atmosphere were good, very friendly. Only had one ishew, with my breakfast, I ordered a scramble with green peppers, mushrooms, and cubed hashbrowns but got the oe with sausage and shredded hashbrowns. The waitress apologized and asked if I would like her to take it back and bring me the correct order, and I was ok with what I had. Even though it was not my order, it still tasted good.

Good experience overall with friendly staff. I had the chicken breast which was a bit salty but presentation was good and I didn’t have a long wait for the meal.

Told they close at 11...... yet the sign says 12... unsure if there is a dialouge issue. Also had a 39$ bill gave the bartender $60 and she ignored me and didn't give me change when I was drinking luckily my friends watched out for me .

Seems to be hit and miss at this restaurant. The Greek Salad was fantastic! The Crab and Carrot soup was delicious. Hot turkey sandwich and spinach dip were mediocre. The fettuccine Alfredo was under seasoned and near inedible. Our server was pleasant but inaccurate with our order. Portion sizes were generous. All in all a merely average experience. When I asked them if there was something they could do about the uneaten fettuccine dinner she replied “I will take 10% off.” I said thank you, believing that it was going to be ten percent off our total bill. No—it was off that one menu item, so we received a discount of $1.35 on a $150 bill. Disappointed by the experience and would likely not return.

The owner of Kōns a few days ago suggested we try Tower Cafe. He said it had the best pizza in town. He also said it was an amazing overall restaurant. With this recommendation and that I happen to be in town again tonight I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. I was not in the mood for pizza and chose to have the chicken fettuccine. It was amazingly good. It came out fresh and hot with a delicious sauce. The pasta was so good I had to ask if it was homemade! It was not but Tower Cafe is surely using a high quality pasta. The wait staff was really nice and attentive. I suggest anyone give Tower Cafe a try. You won't be disappointed.

Order tonight and it was the best pizza I've had in a long time! Would recommend.

I took advantage of a promotion they were having on Lasagna. Lasagna was great, somehow it was still piping hot after driving all the way home. Next time I’ll try the pizza.

I love Chinese food, and I have been to quite a few Chinese restaurants. This was one of the best! The food was nice, and the price was affordable. The service was prompt, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

Jenny K has been my favorite Chinese food in Southern Saskatchewan for years. He used to wait by the train crossing to hand off our food to us when we went by in the trains. Great food, friendly service. The portions are very generous for the price. If you’re anywhere near Estevan, you’re missing out if you don’t eat here.

We had a superb lunch at Jenny K. Quintessential small town Chinese food, done well. The restaurant has a vintage vibe - old, but cool and clean. The aesthetic is fire overall. Our food was hot, tasty, and with big portions. The lunch combinations offer a great range of items. The ginger beef was a standout coming out crisp, hot, and having a great balance of sweetness and gingery zing. Jenny K herself was even here serving! She’s a sweet lady who was helpful with our groups dietary restrictions. Would recommend for a quick stop in Estevan.

My wife and I went to North Dakota to visit our son and then, we decided to visit Estevan. We came here to have a beer and lunch and what a nice place. Rosie was our bartender and she was so nice. There were a few locals at the bar and they heard we came up to Canada from the States and they were so cool to us. We talked hockey for a bit and had a good time. The beer was good, the burgers were good and we will be coming back! Save us a seat Rosie!

Awesome setting of dine in, excellent condition with excellent staff serving & waiting tables with kind & caring service to customers! The kitchen staff along with the cooks that heard about the order that was taken & placed to prepare the food to cook the food to allow the waitress to serve the plates as ordered, all around wonderful night out with friends & friendly staff & community !
