Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Drayton Valley – 2024

I ordered the rib eye steak with the fresh grilled veggies and it was DELICIOUS, between the steak and the veggies my entire plate was filled with food. The steak was cooked perfect and then veggies were exactly what my soul needed

Second visit here. Both have been excellent. Food service everything. I really loved the chicken vegetable soup, wow it was the best. I have ever had.

Been here a few years ago and thought I would stop for supper. Ordered the number 10 that had pepperoni and ham with mushrooms. Medium with extra meat. Pizza came out baked perfectly. Crust was just right and cheese was baked just right. Service was very good and the pizza was out fast. The dinning area was clean. Glad I stopped just as good as a few years ago.

This place is amazing. The front of the restaurant had a ton of Trip Advisor awards displayed, the restaurant was very clean (black ducts didn’t have a spec of dust on them & the chrome on the vintage cars on the walls were shiny), the waitress was friendly and the food was amazing! I can see why there wasn’t an empty table in house plus a line up of to go orders!! If you’re ever in Drayton Valley or travelling through YOU. NEED. TO. STOP!!!

If you can get in, book them now!! Sam, Marie, and the entire team is absolutely incredible! Not only did they serve the most amazing meal (no, seriously, we’ve had soooo many compliments on it) but they also offered bottle service for our wine, came out serving seconds, and made our gluten free desserts. The complete BEST experience you could possibly ask for!

Sam and his Crew at the White Bull Cafe are second to none in food quality, service and the atmosphere they provide to their guests. Their cafe is amazing but the service they provide for catering events is extraordinary. We had the privilege of having Sam and his team cater our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He went out of his way to speak to every one of our guests and did anything and everything to make the experience amazing for every person there. When a wedding photographer that attend 2-3 weddings a week says to everyone this food is the best they have ever had, you know they are doing something right. So many of our guests raved about the food and Sam’s personality and we can’t thank them enough for truly making the food and entertainment part of our wedding perfect. Thank you Sam for everything and thank you to your staff for working so hard to make our day special. We can’t recommend you enough to anyone looking for touring services or to stop by for a meal at your beautiful cafe. We can’t wait until the next time we get the chance to enjoy your food. Excellent food, way better than average burger and fries. Food came super quick. Staff were great and friendly. 100% recommended Negative was the restaurant had random objects on the edges of the room (vacuum cleaner being stored at the entrance and very obvious storage room with things scattered on the floor). Looks more like a storage room...

We chose this place to eat based on the reviews from here. This truly is 5 star food. I wouldn’t have ever guessed it if driving by. The chef came out to check each table and ensure all was tasty. I had seafood with rice and my wife had a gluten-free chicken burger and fries. I was shocked on how good the bun was. We would definitely eat here again. Well done !!!

Food was so good. I felt like a good burger tonight and I was not disappointed. I even got the 1nd burger 1/2 off. Nice quiet atmosphere. Service was very good as well.

I’ve been here three times now and on every visit the food has been excellent, the service has been excellent and the music and ambiance is excellent. It’s not flashy, it’s not pretentious. It’s friendly, it’s filling and it’s relaxing. Awesome spot to spend time with good people. Keep it up!

Poor communication by server for products on the menu, waited an hour for what they assumed was a started but was actually a meal which then was as the poor excuse but the server and kitchen as to why it was taking so long, waited almost two hours for 3 out of the 5 meals and then someone selling tickets asked us to purchase tickets for their show but 1 would be free because we would be there after 7, almost 2 hour wait to get food. I Appreciate taking off 2 items but unfortunately the experience was already what it was. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We went here for supper based on good reviews but found the food to be a let down. The restaurant theme is a strange mix of smokehouse and Mexican. The food was not awful by any means but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again. Kids are allowed in until 7 on weekdays but there are no booster seats or high chairs available.

So I decided to give sky lounge a try. And I can tell you I was not let down for a places that is not on the maps. it's worth a stop good beer and wine selection home-style food to boot. If your wondering if it's worth a stop it's behind westwind motel and it's worth your time.

so, Just popped in from work so not there very long. Service was great, waitress was great, prices were great, food, maintains the trend. (food was great(explanation for trump supporters)). walked in from the street side, was a bit of a maze. interesting building. turns out parking in the back let's you walk right in. almost forgot, drinks and prices also great. Will be back next time in Drayton.

Great, quiet spot.. I've had quite a bit of food from here now and I've never been disappointed!

I recently dined at River Rock and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Teresa welcomed us warmly and our waitress Rejina was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, providing top-notch service without being overbearing. Overall, River Rock exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon!

Sign at entrance saod seat yourself. Waited 17 minutes before having to wave the server down for a menu. Even though She walked past us several times to bring order to the table behind us. Brought us put breakfast, said she would be right back with our toast. 10 minutes goes by and we have to wave her down to let us know we still haven't received our toast. Food was decent. Not as big of portions as the other known breakfast places in drayton. If the service was better I'd give it a shot again

Daughter and son-in-law took me out for brunch. First time there, older place but gas great food and service. I had eggs Benny and they were really good.

I wasn't excited to eat at a place that has "oil country" in its name but a friend picked it. The place is large and seems like a really good spot to watch the game, they have a very large video wall for viewing. Patio is small but cozy. Food was good.

I had my birthday (9th may 2024)dinner with my friends and I ordered stir-fry chicken noodles and stir-fry veggie with rice, the food is totally disappointing , the quality and portion size didn't live up to your expectations. I feel the food doesn't justify the price. Value is an important aspect of dining out. I might want to consider exploring to other restaurants in our area that will offer better quality and value for money. Tough or chewy chicken can really detract from a meal experience. It's disappointing when servers don't offer alternatives, especially if you're not satisfied with your meal. Providing feedback to the management could help them address this issue and ensure better service in the future.

Down home style food In great portions. I ordered the wildcat burger and was pleasantly surprised by every bite I had took. It looked intimating at first but I tackled it with ease. I have yet to try to my poutine but if tastes anything like the aroma of it smells the signs are pointing upwards for this poutine. Would definitely eat here again.

The service was exceptional, we were greeted upon arrival by a pleasant young host (I totally forget his name unfortunately but he is the youngest #minor brain) who was also our server. We had the shrimpin sirloin, salmon, chicken burger and grilled chicken breast meals and amazingly they were all wonderful . I am a food lover and i have no regrets or complaints for deciding on this steakhouse. #Jamaica to Drayton Valley big up to Mr. Mikes Team☺️

We love the beef dip and we always sub the fries for their amazing Cascadia salad. Best beef dip! Everyone is always so friendly at this location, as well.

Ordered the Cascadia salad with Chicken… if your going to say there is certain ingredients in your salad you should be putting them in. Very disappointed that I had to ask for the cranberries & honey roasted pecans & then I still don’t get them I get walnuts…

What a great place and unassuming location got such a great place. My server Taya was great, and the food was great, at a very good price for what I had. If you are ever in the area of Drayton Valley AB. You need to stop by and enjoy the experience of being in this very unassuming friendly restaurant. Kudos to the owner. After a long drive the best place to go is Mitch’s. It was great environment. Friendly staff and efficient. The butter chicken was phenomenal. Portion size is really good too for the price. The honey garlic Alfredo is weird on paper but amazing to eat. Just the right amount of sweetness for me. Only thing was the ice in the drinks tasted a little weird. Would definitely come again!

My wife and I were in town on a camping trip to the area and were looking to stop somewhere for dinner. However the weather was hot and we could not leave our dog in our vehicle while we ate. Hoping to find a patio in Drayton Valley which welcomes dogs, we discovered we could go to Mitch's. We were welcomed to the patio. A bowl of ice water was brought out for our dog first thing. The food was great, the staff was friendly. Our dog was even lucky enough to be served a couple of bacon strips on a plate. I would definitely recommend Mitch's to anyone, and would return again.

The Indian food was authentic and all freshly made. Absolutely delicious! My whole family loved every dish. Well worth the wait. The staff were the sweetest. We will definitely be back!

First time we did take out and were surprised the order would take about an hour but was worth the wait as the dishes were all delicious and freshly prepared. This time we decided to dine in and for starters the staff were super friendly and very pleasant. The service is great. The food was well prepared and they always check if the spice and taste level is to your preference. Price point is very reasonable for the type of food. I will for sure be returning to try other dishes and as mentioned the staff is very welcoming!! Great job!!

The food was phenomenal! Even my friend that only ever had butter chicken before, tried everything and was blown away! So happy to have this business in this town! Had take out, so not sure about atmosphere. Imagine it’s a good place.

We went here tonight to try a different restaurant and we we weren’t disappointed at all, Calamari, Salad and the Alfredo linguini was super delicious and I highly recommend it to anyone!!

Got medium meat lovers for take out was absolutely loaded with toppings cooked perfectly nice and crispy not soggy at all for that many toppings and thought 22$ was a steal very fair price

We were here on a Wednesday night. The place was packed. Service was maybe a bit slower than we would have expected but understandable considering his busy it was. Our first time here. But won't be our last. Excellent fun and friendly service, awesome food and comfortable atmosphere. Great experience!

Decided to give this place a try and it didn't disappoint. Courteous staff, friendly owners and delicious food. The spring rolls were tasty and the Hues spicy noodle soup broth was flavorful, packed with all sorts of meats and spices. The soup was authentic and absolutely delsih. The large soup was huge, you could take the broth home and make another meal!

First time in Drayton Valley and decided to stop in and ended up having one of the best meals ever . Unfortunately the debit machine was down but they took e-transfer. I had the chicken pho and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly. I would consider this a hidden gem thank you ivy pho

Service was really good and they were so nice :) Got the grilled beef Vietnamese submarine and the shrimp salad rolls. Both were absolutely delicious! I honestly typically don't like peanut based sauces but the dip for the rolls enhanced their flavor and went so well with them! I think the sub/banh mi is really worth it especially since it was bigger than expected. Would love to come again and try their coffee next time!

Goldie's Chicken Plus Pizza is absolutely amazing! The food here is always top-notch. The pizza is fantastic, with a sauce that tastes like it's homemade. The service is consistently an 11 out of 10 just exceptional! It's a wonderful little spot in town that truly stands out. I also love how they help out and support the community. Highly recommend!

Just passing through and saw this place and thought ide give it a shot. Had one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. Had a great chat with the owner. He recommended the "Mose Burger" and it was to die for. 3 buns, 2 patties, ham, tomato and heavenly sauce. I'll drive back from Edmonton just for that burger again.

Was here last night to try it out with my friend and granddaughter. We spent over 70 bucks. The service by the staff was great. The older gal was lovely and brought our meal out to our car knowing we were outside waiting. The staff here don't get their tips if on debit so we didn't give one at the time however we kicked ourselves in the ass after for not giving her cash for the staff when she was so kind and came outside. We ordered lg pizza, trex donair and 6 donair spring rolls (which were to die for). Unfortunately the 5 plus pound donair was placed on top of our pizza when given to us and it didnt click for us bc it was our first time here to know how monsterous the donair was, so by the time we made it home 35 min, the donair had collapsed the box onto our pizza! I wish I could post pictures but for some reason that's not a option! We will def be back to try again

This place was a cool little spot hidden away in Drayton Valley. We went in late for dinner and managed to get served. We had Steak Oscar, and the meat was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious. The meal was also priced well. I highly recommend this place

Haven't been to this restaurant in years. Seems like there's new owners and our experience today was great. Delicious food! The bubble tea was perfect for the hot weather

I made a mistake and ordered a large soup (Wor Wonton). Have enough soup to last me a week lol. Honestly though food was really good, hope to see this place once the buffet is allowed again
