Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Cranbrook – 2024

Wow! What a gem. Everything to eat here is beyond delicious, the burger was amazing, the pizzas are beyond loaded with toppings! The service excellent, we even came after hours to the restaurant and the server from the pub next to it served us as we had a child in tow, no problems. Happy hour and late night menu a phenomenal deal! We were told it is under new management/ownership just recently so take previous reviews as old news. Highly recommend!

A lovely and upscale restaurant with a pristine setting. Featuring an open kitchen, their pizza was beautifully crisp and the pasta was also enjoyable. They offer a wide selection of drinks. Although the service was a bit slow, I still savored my meal there.

The food was amazing, high quality ingredients, interesting menu. Gluten free options for almost every dish. The server was sweet, efficient and very accommodating. Loved it all!

The atmosphere is wonderful: perfect combination of quirky and homey. Just look at the house rules at the entrance ❤️ The menu is such a fun read! And the food is actually tasty. There were 6 of us, we all had burgers and every single one of us loved our burgers. This is a truly rare occasion! So, yes, come and eat here!!

Maria was our server and she was absolutely lovely. We asked to sit inside. We were seated next to an extra rowdy table so we asked to move to the patio. Maria was more than willing to accommodate. We ordered the nachos which were very unique and very delicious, maybe the best nachos I've ever had. Other food was also very good! Beer selection was fantastic.

Loved the setting and the food. Lots of beer choices on tap. Helpful staff. Very kind to us tourists who ask stupid questions about poutine, questioning interesting options like peanut butter and carrot habanero and requesting substitutions. Excellent food!

Great food and great service. A family friendly restaurant for sure and this location is one of the best of this chain I've visited. The server was attentive and the food was perfect for everyone. Love East Side Mario's. My kids are always singing the jingle and they were stoked we went to hey bada boom bada bing on our random long weekend trip to the west. It was a good experience here, if we are ever staying in Cranbrook and aren't trying local non chain stuff we will totally be coming here (the ones we wanted to try were all closed for canada day, but we sure were not disappointed once we got here!) Can't go wrong with East Side Mario's for sure. Or that awesome endless bread and soup and salad. Woohoo!

The food came out nice and hot. The salad was fresh & crisp. I wish they had a better soup selection. But that is a personal preference.

I recommend this restaurant 100%, a place where you will leave satisfied as well as very good service. I was just looking for a good place and I found it. If you are on vacation and pass by this wonderful place, be sure to try the pasta and soup. of ravioli thanks to your team for giving us good service

Food and staff were good, *water tasted like dirt, despite the maple syrup display at the front of the restaurant the syrup was artificial poured into an old real maple syrup container that gave it a bit of a metallic taste …

I recently had a wonderful breakfast experience at a restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and ample parking made the visit hassle-free. I highly recommend this establishment for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

As if the God of this world has come down to give me a sticky little belly kiss to leave my tummy satisfied. Once again Dennys has delivered a culinary experience that has changed my opinion on the concepts of this mortal coil. I love you Denny! Coffee wasn’t fresh, I could care less. 5/5⭐️

Just the best expirience. The food, to die for. Very homey feeling, really loved this place. Bought there jam, had the bacin cheeseburger and soup. It was awesome. Wife had option #3 breakfast and she loved it. We will definately be back next year

Excellent diner-type breakfast! And yes, that rhubarb jam is just as delicious as you've heard. Fast and absolutely lovely, engaging service. Breakfast was cooked just how we wanted it, with huge portions that filled up the athletes who were fueling pre-game. Pancakes the size of your face, omelettes filled with fresh veggies, butterflied sausages that were just what the kids wanted. We'll make a point to eat here next time the tournament brings us to Cranbrook.

A small and cozy gem with fantastic food. The service is pleasant; they are attentive to feedback and ensure your water glass is never empty. Personally, I adore their soup. Their traditional Pad Thai is exceptionally delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to returning.

Don't let my 4☆ food rating set you off. The food was great, and nothing short of comforting and well worth the money spent. (No micro portions for 25$) Both our servers were courteous, and the food is always a welcome addition to Cranbrooks' much needed cultural ethnicity scene. It was very easy to embrace this food as an evening out for cellebration (Vallentines Day) on a cold winter day. Plenty of Thai staples both hot, sweet, bold flavours, peanutty goodness, coconut, and plenty of lemony curry leaves! The place isn't huge, but cozy enough to not feel like a cafeteria. Make sure to make a reservation for your special day! Dishes were spring rolls (4 huge rolls for 10$), very nice! Satay chicken, spiced to greatness. Pad Garlic with beef and a strong helping of black pepper (bold), and a Gang Pad Red Curry with chicken (comforting). They ask about your mains, to spice to your preferred heat level. Green tea of course for a fantastic pairing, and they brought a teapot!

Passing through Cranbrook and stopped in for. Alet nigh but at Mr Mike's . Small town so everything closes early, keep that in mind. Server was fun , place was clean and tidy food was fast and fresh . Was a good experience overall for sure . Thank you

Decided to eat here while on a recent trip through town. Busy the night we came, but fast friendly service. Food was served hot. The meals we enjoyed we all pretty good. Delicious but almost too large dessert. Price was reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food.

Dinner with family & friends following memorial service. Excellent service, yummy food and great accommodation when our number of people increased. We were able to relax and enjoy each other's company after a loss without being forced to leave before we were ready. Great job Mr. Mikes!

Looks like newly opened but still great first impression. Clean, open, nice decor. Food is excellent. Lots of choices. Had Japchae noodles with rice and bulgogi beef. Would highly recommend!

Fresh, healthy, endless bowl options. I got a bowl with extra protein (spicy tuna) and avocado. About $24.00+tax, one bowl lasted me a filling lunch and leftovers for dinner. Remember if you go for sashimi, eat it with a day! Good food over all.

Best poke bowl I've ever had!! It was phenomenal - the flavours are rich and exciting, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Above that, they were incredibly accommodating when I brought my baby in and need to heat a bottle. I'd give them 10 stars if possible

Happy that we found this gem on our way back from Idaho. Love the interior, definitely enjoyed the food so much so that I forgot to take a picture of my oxtail taco. Good plate presentation, makes it even more appetizing. I would definitely go back! This was my first time trying Jamaican food, can't wait to try the other items on the menu. So many to choose from! Update: still good the second time around. Had the oxtail and the fried chicken and coconut rice. Did not disappoint. Bought a bottle of their own one love red wine, it was just too good had to take one home. They also put up the vinyl that hubby dropped off. It was nice to see it on their wall of collections. Pretty busy last night, the food was worth the wait. Would definitely go back.

I was very surprised to find this gem in Cranbrook. It has a real atmosphere of Jamaica with authentic interior design. I visited this place for breakfast with three kids and was very happy to find that they have a kids' menu and ice cream. We were also asked if we needed a high chair. The food was very good, both in taste and presentation. The service was welcoming. I will definitely come again next time.

Been here a few times and this place is extremely underrated, the restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are very kind. The Jamaican patties are good and you can't go wrong with them. But their Oxtail Birria Tacos are delicious, so flavourful and tender. If you're in Cranbrook definitely stop by Ella's

The staff is always amazing, attentive, kind, and cheerful. The business itself is obviously a bit dated interior wise, but it makes up for it with a few other things Breakfast brunch is a diverse mix of foods with a fair price point to take your family or your grandparents or whoever else!

The breakfast place had a vibrant atmosphere, bustling with customers enjoying their morning meals. Despite the busy environment, Darline's warm smile and exceptional service made us feel right at home. Darline's friendly nature was evident in every interaction she had with the customers. She patiently listened to our orders, offering helpful suggestions and accommodating any special requests.

A solid bet on the “Crazy Crow” Highway 3 rush. Very good food and clean as a whistle. While a bit high on cost (78$ for 3 ), the staff and quality of diner cuisine was laudable.
