This was a incredible dining experience. I highly recommend this place if you can afford it. Had one of the best margaritas I have ever had. Chicken Rockefeller was superb. Also had the fried Gulf Coast sampler. And one of the best pumpkin cheesecake I ever ate
This place is a tourist trap. I ordered fried oysters with a salad instead of french fries. The salad was really good but the oysters were the size of large olives and I only got seven. The batter had something sweet that tasted like raspberries. Raspberries? That's just plain weird. Waitresses were very nice and attentive. My low review is due to the $50+ check lunch for two. Water to drink.
Great place for dinner. The service was excellent. The food was tasty. I had the drum which was quite good and the blue cheese wedge salad which is always nice. We started with some raw oysters……so good. The calamari and hush puppies were also good. Everybody enjoyed their meal. I would come back if I were back in town.

We tried this place tonight, as a coworker was really talking up the crab cakes. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Everything was very good! I don't think I could order something else from there, as much as I'd love to try their other dishes. Those were by far the best crab cakes I've ever had. My husband tried the coconut shrimp, which was delicious. It had a very different marmalade sauce with a bit of a kick. Overall, the food was insanely good. And we had one of the best waiters that I've experienced. He was very attentive but not overbearing. And he seemed like he genuinely cared about providing the amazing experience that we had. We will definitely be back soon!
Food was good, I got the captain's platter and although it was good, it was soaked with butter. Shrimp and scallops were small and charged $2 for blackened with no notice. Italian wedding soup was great! Home atmosphere and friendly staff. $5 for a bottled beer - no price listed on menu.
A great place to grab a great plate for dinner. I had fried oysters with a baked potato and the vegetable of the day. The oysters were large and fried great, fresh and not chewy! The peas and carrots were a tad undercooked and flavored with Italian seasoning which didn’t go well with my oysters. My daughter had blackened red snapper with pilaf and side salad. The fish was delicious seasoned and cooked perfectly, not overcooked which causes dryness. Pilaf was fluffy and well seasoned. If I would change anything, I would reevaluate picking the “soup of the day” and “vegetable of the day”.

Great place to spend a Friday evening. We came from out of town to visit family and happened to come across this place in our decision to catch a quick bite. We made it there in time for Happy Hour. Enjoyed the pool table for a few games. Everyone was friendly and inviting. And great music.
**Restaurant Review: The Exchange Bar - Corpus Christi, TX** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re searching for a culinary gem in Corpus Christi, look no further than The Exchange Bar. My husband and I stumbled upon this delightful establishment for a last-minute anniversary dinner, and it has left an indelible mark on our taste buds and hearts. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for what would become a memorable evening. We were greeted by Alex, the bar manager, whose expertise and passion for food and drink were evident. She took the time to share her extensive knowledge and ensured we felt right at home. Now, let’s talk about the food—specifically, the Cubano sandwich. I’ve dined at thousands of restaurants worldwide, but I can confidently say that this was the best sandwich I have ever had! The first bite was an explosion of flavor that left me utterly mind-blown. I was so enamored that I ordered a second sandwich immediately after finishing the first—something I’ve never done before! The perfect balance of savory ingredients, coupled with the chef’s masterful touch, made for an unforgettable experience. Speaking of the chef Kyle, we had the pleasure of meeting the talented individual behind this culinary masterpiece. We were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to express our appreciation in person. It’s rare to encounter such dedication and passion in the kitchen, and it truly made our experience special. Kyle so far the best chef ever!!! In short, The Exchange Bar isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination for food lovers. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and indulge in their menu. You won’t just enjoy a meal; you’ll experience a celebration of flavors that will linger long after you leave. We can’t wait to return and savor more of their incredible offerings! Highly recommend—come taste the magic for yourself!
This place was a gem. Jen was our bartender. It was late and she was wonderful. Helped us through the menu. Told us what she likes. She had bomb recommendations. We had such a great time. The atmosphere was so cool. Awesome art. Polaroids cover the walls. The musician was playing straight fire. The pulled pork and burger were delicious. Stop in. Grab a bevy and a bite. You won’t regret it. This place is such a vibe

Timed our dinner PERFECT 7 pm, Wonderful Oct 9, 75*, gorgeous sunset view, free ample parking, no wait, serene & nice, friendly service. Servings were huge; overpriced. Very good, fresh, big shrimp. Tasty rum drink w/ roasted coconut rim Watch out, $ 9 drink costs $ 12.50!
My great niece and I were in town for Vacation Bible School. Once we were done, I had to show her Corpus Christi's select restaurant and sites! Snoopy was a must and did not disappoint! We ordered 6 pieces fried shrimp with sweet potato fries and 6 pieces fried cod with regular fries. I gave my niece the choice of seating inside or outside, and of course, she chose outside! Texas heat was all that, but the view was amazing! Our meals were delicious, but the fish was a bit overcooked. It was batter fried too hard! My niece had to break it open and remove the coating to eat it. The shrimp was fried to perfection! Check them out when in the Coastal Bend!
My first restaurant we went to when we moved to corpus Christi. The best fried fish, shrimp had a drink from the bar. Something like a creamy coconut/pineapple drink with nutmeg? It was so good! We also watched the boat parade from Snoopy's Pier around Christmas. Love it there!

I saw the reviews so I had to try this place out! The food was DELICIOUS! Seasoned just right. I got the grilled salmon with mixed veggies and rice as well as the Oysters Rockefeller. Highly recommend! I will definitely be back!
I was vacationing in Port A but as I came through Corpus, I had a few hours still before check-in time at the hotel. I rarely get good gulf seafood, and I searched for local menus that had scallops listed. I loved my meal so much, I made it a point to stop in again on the way home. The pan-seared scallops were perfect. Crab-cakes delicious. Mac n cheese super-creamy. Cole slaw tangy & not dry. Overall, I think this place was the “hidden gem” of my trip to the coast.
My server Jasmin seated me and got me a beer and water while I looked over the menu. She brought my drinks and a basket of homemade potato chips…and they are very addicting! I decided to go with Jasmin’s suggestion and ordered their homemade onion rings and the Mahi Alto Cocina. The onion rings were good and the batter light…very good appetizer or side for a meal. The Mahi Alto Cocina was very different, but in a good way. The fish was cooked just right and the cream sauce was mellow but the pico really made the dish “pop” with the raw tastes combined with the cooked fish and warm cream sauce. The crab is a nice touch but doesn’t add much to the dish, but the combination of the sauce, fish, and pico was really good and unusual. The side of veggies and rice were a perfect compliment to the dish made for an overall delicious meal. Great food and excellent service!

Food ordered: shrimp cocktail, crab fondue, cote de boeuf for two, free cheesecake for dessert Drinks ordered: Dos Equis, Manhattan, French 75, espresso martini, house Cabernet Everything we had was so delicious! I would probably order everything again. My only critique is that the toasts that came with the crab fondue were too large and too hard to bite into. We ended up dipping the free bread into the fondue which was so much better. Our server was so sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. The espresso martini was so good — would come back just to have another one of those. Overall had a fantastic experience, I would return to try the other things on the menu.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Great friendly service. Way pricey but worth it Bison was my all time favorite. Pork belly brussel sprouts and the Mac and cheese
Our server, Nicholas, was phenomenal, he really took great care of us, made good recommendations and did a great job of keeping us happy. The food and drink were okay for the price. We have no problem paying 5 star prices if the food is worth it. We feel it didn’t quite hit the mark. He did not lie when he said the cesar salad was the best in town, but at the end of the day, it’s a steak house! The steak was okay. I ordered a drink that just tasted like juice and Nicholas quickly got it replaced with what my boyfriend ordered. When the drink made it to the table we noticed we both had the same drink, but the color, smell and taste of each was very different. Again, he took care of it with a smile, but it took a couple times to get it right and they ended up just remaking it completely. The Mac and cheese was the star of the night for me, large portions and so delicious. We were celebrating our 2 year anniversary and they treated us to dessert which was so nice. You can’t go wrong with the crème brûlée! The views from where we were sitting were stunning, the music however did not match the vibe. We were hoping for something relaxing and classy to match the high end feel of the place but got 90’s pop lol seems like a small detail but at this price point, we feel everything matters. Overall, service was fantastic but food & drink and ambiance could use some work.

We drove down to port A for the day. Upon leaving my daughter suggested we go to Razzoo's. I had never been. The hostess was waiting to hold our door open. Do right away we felt welcomed. Our server Savanah was very sweet, attentive and quick. Big smiles all the way around. We ordered the 2 For $20 deal. We got fried pickles as our app and the fried catfish & bacon burger. The meals were amazing and came with a good amount of food. Amazing deal!!! We also had to get a cup of gumbo which I recommend. Suffice it to say...we did finish all our food and took a good amount of it home. All in all loved the place, prices, people & food. Highly recommend!!!
For it being a Cajun restaurant I'd expected food having more flavor/season to it. Pastas were blend, fish was way too smoked almost unable to taste and alligator was too chewy. Loved the peach cobbler and spinach dip. One of the best I've had. Service was awesome and place is very original.
First time here and definitely not the last!!! Our server was such a helpful sweet heart and has great taste in hot sauce !! Great all around!!! Thank you Trinity, you were great!!

My wife and I decided to drive 50 miles to have an Anniversary Dinner at Landry’s. The Food, Service and Atmosphere was awesome, as always. Rudy made us feel like we were the only couple in the restaurant. The Chef, Eric checked in on us twice to make sure our meal was satisfactory. You must end the evening with the bread pudding. We will be back soon….
Landry's Corpus Christi did an outstanding job hosting our 10-year reunion! They went above and beyond to comfortably accommodate all 60 of us, and everyone raved about the food and drinks. Throughout the planning process, the team was in constant communication to ensure every request was met. On the night of the event, they were incredibly attentive and made the evening run smoothly. I'm so grateful to the staff for their hard work in making our night unforgettable! I highly recommend hosting your next event here!
Came to enjoy a meal, stayed for the service! Rudy Sr. served us and he was AMAZING. You can tell he's a genuine man who loves his job. He made our dining experience even better than I could've asked for!

2 stars for the cocktail only. Spent the day walking the Corpus Christi water front. Found myself in the marina staring at the coolest looking floating restaurant so I stopped in. The hostess was very unhappy to be there . Great location, great cocktail. I ordered the lobster stuffed hush puppies and the lobster bisque. I started with the lobster bisque which was the worst soup, bisque, chowder, anything I’ve ever had. The lobster was mush and turned my stomach instantly. The soup part was watered down and flavorless. The picture below was what was left after I tried it. Next one of my fave things to order at any restaurant, the hush puppies. Now these were supposed to be stuffed with lobster but I didn’t see that. They were super dense and seemed to be frozen for too long. There is no way these are made fresh. I tried a bite of each one to make sure I didn’t just get one bad one. The waitress asked how everything was an I politely pointed to the almost untouched food and she said “well my only other customer today got pooped on by a bird so this isn’t so bad.” Needless to say she didn’t offer to remove the food from my check or ask what was wrong. She just picked it up and brought my check. If they made some small changes this place could be really good.
Perfect place on the water to have lunch! Parking was nearby restaurant is not that big but does have a floating dock where you can sit and eat while it’s moving on top of water . There was a nice breeze , wait staff was friendly . We ordered the shrimp cocktail, which was delicious. We also ordered the shrimp tacos. absolutely amazing and tasty. Not all beers on tap were working . Friendly Cool place for lunch date .
Amazing amazing amazing! We’ve lived in the are for about 4 years. This was our first visit to Harrison’s Landing but it will not be our last!!!! This is our new favorite spot. We visited on a Sunday at peak lunchtime, and we were sat right away. We sat in the bar area and our server was all the bartender. In my experience, this usually leads to a less than stellar service experience as the bartender is usually overwhelmed. That was not the case here. Our server was ON IT!!! We started with an order of onion rings from their Sunday NFL special appetizer menu. They were served with ranch dressing that you could tell was made in-house. Onion rings were perfectly beer battered. Not too much breading either. My husband ordered the Crazy Cajun dish which the server said was the best thing on the menu. If you like Cajun or blackened seasoning, I highly recommend this. I don’t care for spicy food, so I just tried a little bit of his and it had amazing flavor! I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos with french fries instead of chips and salsa. The tacos came with a delicious chipotle aïoli that I also dipped my fries in. It was probably the best aioli I’ve ever had! It was the perfect blend of smoky and creamy. Food was hot and fresh, service was fantastic, atmosphere was perfect! We will be back!!

The pizza and salad are delicious here. The Margherita pizza is fantastic (it is a bit pricey). Great wine selection and great service from the staff.
white sauce pizza-8.6 pesto sauce pizza-8.2 caesar salad-7.1 - High quality ingredients perfectly cooked pizza, waitress was nice and very little wait time on food. -overall satisfaction grade 91/100
We got 2 small 12 inch pizzas and 1 appetizer & a water and unsweetened tea. We were not told by the waitress there was a different charge for each topping. While it may have been on the menu, we didn’t notice until we got the bill. It was $83, not including the tip. The food was good. The price verses value was NOT. Save your money, those small pizzas weren’t $35 good.

The restaurant location and layout is awesome. We got seated, and it took a while for a server to come take the drink order. Once we ordered, the drinks came quickly. The appetizer Texas southwestern egg rolls were great. The hush puppies were good, but they only had melted butter. We ordered salads with our meals, but the salads did not come when the meal came asked to cancel the salads, and she removed them from the ticket. The coconut shrimp is baked, not fried. My wife liked it a lot. I do not like seafood, so I got the country fried chicken with green beans and roasted potatoes, it was very good. I think the delay and a few other things like the salads make it not a win for me. Like sitting in the atmosphere and the scenery. The food was good. It is a must try but not a favorite.
A friend recommended we check Doc's out during our beach trip. We liked it so much! Raw Oysters were fresh and delicious. Steak and potatoes well seasoned. The atmosphere, people and view helped to kick off our vacation with good vibes. And to finish it wishing we lived closer to this place. With TVs throughout the bar, and a water station and spare bowls for your pets, we enjoyed the Sunday football game with our dog, and each other. Plenty of space. We are recommending this place and look forward to coming back!
We're new to this area. We took a day trip to Padre Island and decided to check out Docs. We loved it. The staff was great. Attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. There was live music on a Sunday afternoon. Great beach music set The atmosphere. The dining area is large, wide open. They had the roll up doors open. The view looking over the sound towards the mainland was beautiful. We started out with beers from their decent menu. Dinner was great. We started with 1/2 dozen raw oysters on the half shell (one of our favorites). They were perfect. A little salty. A little muddy. I like cocktail sauce. Sharon likes lemon, horse radish on a saltine. I had blackened red fish with a guacamole and pico. Green beans and brown rice on the side. Sharon had the crab stuffed flounder, green beans and a salad. We grew up on the Gulf Coast. This is comfort food for us and Docs delivered.

My friend and I had breakfast at this restaurant and everything tasted delicious! We love how the food was beautifully decorated on our plate. The Rustic decor inside looks very nice! The staff and waitress was very nice, helpful and attentive. I had Cream Cheese Pancakes with Strawberry syrup, one of the Breakfast platters and everything tasted to perfect! It was honestly the BEST Breakfast restaurants I have ever visited! I definitely recommend eating here and I can't wait until I visit Corpus Christi again so, I can eat here.
Oh my what a treat this place was, portions are amazing, table order chicken fried chicken, French toast and waffle for three. The biscuits with white gravey were delicious!!!! Loved our waiter very attentive service and quick to get us our meal. Can't speak enough about our service, the waiter was very patient and respectful with insights to great meals and food combinations. Looking forward to come back soon!
If you want to find quality traditional American food in Corpus Christi, you need to come to this nice country vibe restaurant. Despite the large amount of people, we were attended fast, and our order did not take long. We came for breakfast and we got the country fried steak and the Healthy Start. I think it is great that they thought about the people that want less calories but still enjoy a meal full of flavor. Good portion size at a fair price. Our waiter was extremely nice and understanding. I liked that the owner or manager was very attentive helping out the staff and talking to customers. My boyfriend thinks the steak would have been a little better if it was softer and they forgot the avocado from my plate ( I forgot too), however those details were minor compared to the freshness, flavor and quality we received in our food and the excellent customer service.

Love the Classic cheeseburger! Juicy and delicious! Have had it twice in 1 week! Bun is soft on the outside and crispy where they toast it. Soooo good! Tots are great too!
Have been here many times. Appetizers are always great. Fried pickles are crispy. Garlic knots are amazing. I’ve had the cheese steak and hamburgers always good. Bf always gets the Stromboli every time. I tried recently the mushroom burger with side salad and onion rings. The garlic aioli and the char on the burger was great. Onion rings were crispy not too much batter. Salad was so big, I always know I may not finish my meal once I order it. There’s a lot to choose from but they cook it all well. Highly recommend. Sorry about my photos. Looks like I took it from a disposable in 93. Appetizers were well into our eating them :).
Went here last night with the wife on a whim. Then realized it was the same owner as Texas Roadhouse. Do it's kinda like a sports bar version of it with killer food. It was a great experience and all the food was top knotch. We had the meaty meaty pizza, chicken parm sandwich, and the wings (garlic parmesan and naked). Both our server and Manager were excellent and very friendly. The manager suggested getting sauce on the side next time for dipping the sandwich (great idea). Will have to try next time we're in town! Thanks again!

The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was so fun! I thoroughly enjoyed dining here! I would highly recommend the onion rings and coleslaw! The staff were super friendly and looked like they enjoyed their job. They were quick to clear plates, serve food, and refill drinks. The food was some of the best I’ve had, and their pie and brownie was so good! The prices were spot on for what you are served, and the decor was so fun to sit around!
I had a fantastic time at Blackbeards by the Beach! The food was absolutely delicious, and the live music added a fun and lively atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even though I was dining alone, which really made the experience special. Shout out to Kathy and Katie!! Their friendly service truly stood out. Highly recommend this spot for great food and a warm, inviting ambiance!
Food was good and fresh Prices were good. Pretty clean restaurant. Service was good. Sword fish was really good. Live music was just to loud. Couldn't hear each other. Peel n eat shrimp and crab cakes were very good

Wait.. how have I not been here before? My son is usually in charge of picking out restaurants for us to eat at when we travel. We roll up for breakfast and were immediately seated. I loved the two trains they had running on tracks in the ceiling. It was very nostalgic. The young lady who was our service was on top of it. She made sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed. My kid had ordered eggs and she asked him what kinds of salsa he wanted and brought all of them they had available, including two they made homemade. They also brought out homemade blueberry muffins that were hot. As I am eating one, I look over and noticed they had all kinds of homemade baked goods available. I am glad we got there when we did, as the restaurant had filled out quickly. The food was amazing and the service was also stellar. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.
Fried pork chops with scrambled eggs, hash browns and biscuits. Pork chops were tender and fried to perfection. Eggs were fluffy and tasty. Hash browns were crispy and not greasy. The biscuits, wow, were tender, and buttery. Add a little honey to make the biscuits melt in your mouth good. Don’t walk, run to get you some good old fashion home cooking.
Really cool place with good food and service. They have a train track that circles just below the ceiling and tons of cool decorations. I had the western omelet and hash browns, and both were great.
