1st visit here, and it exceeded expectations. Nice little hole-in-the-wall...used to be Taco Corner. Extensive menu. I had the special of the day, fish tacos, and wife had a big burrito. And we were served with an awesome condiment/salsa/sauce/peppers tray. And there is an extensive selection on sauces on the table. Habeanero sauce was the bomb. Everything was really good. Portions good. Definitely be back.
We ordered to go since we got two cold dishes. One was ceviche and the other was aguachiles. We had very high hopes for this place since it has a five start review. Me and my husband absolutely looooove seafood and we always get the same dish at all places. For the ceviche the shrimp was over cooked. Both of our chips were store bought stale chips. The aguachiles I ordered were made out of Clamato… they are called aguachiles not ClamatoChiles.. sorry but what I’m trying to say is that the aguachiles were the worst aguachiles I have ever tried. Posted a picture of the aguachiles so you can see what the juice looked like. Also aguachiles usually comes with avocado. Anyways. I give this place a 2 start review to be nice.
Update since its been about a year since we stopped in last. Dec 2023 - Still amazing! The portions are wonderful, prices are great, atmosphere is very warm and inviting. I obviously forgot how great the flavors are here but this will be my new stop in for the days i don't feel like cooking! Absolutely wonderful! Light seating available to dine in. Food is very tastey and fresh. We've been here a few times now and never dissapointed! 10 out of 10!

First of all they need to update their menu prices online. I got there and everything was a couple dollars more than what was shown online. I still decided to give it a try since they have been in town for a while. Service was pretty typical to any fast food. The food was pretty good. Atmosphere looks nice but that is about it. Basically there is only outdoor seating or take it elsewhere. Other reviews mention typical pricing than most other places and that is just not true. Ordered two burgers, two fries and two drinks and it was just over $40. I can go to most sit down restaurants and get burgers for a little less than that and not sit outside. I wish them luck but I will not be back with those prices.
Used the drive-through. The service was great. Very friendly gentleman working the window. The patio area looks adorable. Decent amount of sitting for a small spot. Got 1/2 sweet tea, and it hit the spot. Along with a double teriyaki burger and large side of regular fries. All was delicious. The fries are SOO GOOD. Plus you don't see teriyaki burgers anymore, so that excited me. It's a new favorite spot when running between Paulden and Prescott. Love that it's a small business, too. Honestly, prices I feel are comparable with the price of most fast food spots these days. So, there are no complaints on price either.
Stopped here for lunch and was surprised how amazing the food was! Big portion sizes. The burger was delicious and huge. French fries were so good. My new favorite burger place! Spent $30 for 2 double burgers and a large fry. Will be back! They moved pretty quick. Maybe 20 min wait with in the driver thru having 6 cars.

We were told that the best Green Chili Burger out there was at Guy & Gaysons Western Consessions located at ACE Hardware in Chino Valley. I have to say it was the best burger I have had in along time! The fries were also tasty! We'll be back …
This place was amazing. The food was amazing 100 times better than most burger places. The people are very friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend.
Great burgers! Crispy Bacon, properly melted cheese, and fresh veggies. Good service and you can shop while you wait.

This was a wonderful experience all together. My party of 6 was from out of town and they seated us within 20 minutes without a reservation. The service was wonderful and the staff was cheerful. As for the food I usually easily finish my food at restaurants but tonight I had a to go box; I cannot complain at all. The food was fantastic the flavors were well developed and nothing tasted out of place for less than 20 dollars a person I can't think of a better value. The drink selection was also fantastic both the white and red wine My party shared were wonderful additions to our meal. All in all as stated by the 5 star review I would not consider eating anywhere else if Italian or Mexican cuisine is what you or your group want in Chino Valley. FYI they won an award best Mexican and best Itallian restaurant in the area for 2024.
This place is awesome! The food has flavor and the shrimp enchilada is amazing, the shrimp was grilled perfect, and they were re accommodating to my specifications. 100% recommend to everyone who loves Mexican food!! The staff was very charismatic and kind.
Talk about delicious. If you want to experience delicious Mexican cuisine you need to try this place. The restaurant was very clean the drinks were wonderful every dish we ordered out of the eight people that came with us what is wonderful. The bathroom was clean and spacious and was ADA compliant. Treat yourself to some great food and wonderful drinks and wonderful service.

This is a great addition to the options available in Chino valley. However, the beer was not great. The food was also not great. I hate to give it a 3 because I don't want to discourage people from visiting, but I have to be honest. The nachos had about 3 black beans. A can of black beans is $0.69. The hot pretzels had a really nice BBQ mustard sauce that was really good. They could take that sauce and do some good things. The beer was average. The service was awesome. Shout-out to the owners wife for being so nice and helpful.
The food was amazing, kids were entertained the whole time with games and coloring books that they had. Miranda was a great server!! We will definitely be back!
Food was good, I gave it 3 stars for the beer. I sampled the Nitro. It's a 3 as far as Stouts go. I had a glass of the Infidel. I posted a 2.5 on Untapped. The rest of the guys in our party thought the same. Food was good, service was amazing. Beer is okay.

We stopped by today based on reviews and were not disappointed. We had the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy and homestyle potatoes. We also had the green chili bacon cheeseburger. I forgot the name, but we got onion rings with that. Everything was fantastic. We'll definitely return! They were quite busy, but efficient so our wait wasn't bad. They do close at 2, so be sure to get there before that. It'll be a great so between Williams and Prescott from now on.
The food was amazing, and the portion filled me up. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. The server was attentive and fast. I didn't see a table go empty for more than a minute, so I wouldn't even be concerned if there was a wait line outside. 10/10 would recommend.
Today was my very first visit and I can't wait to come back. Best breakfast in town. I had one biscuit with gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon. Never have I ever been to a restaurant and literally scraped my plate clean. It was that damn good. thank you so much to our server Courntey for being so friendly and wonderful service. Thank you to the staff and Chef as well or cooking a delicious meal. If you haven't given a try, I highly recommend. ❤️

First and last time eating here. Beef tacos had a rancid taste and was soaked with grease. Salsa was as bland as I’ve ever tasted I kind of expected this place to not come close to Avillas or dozens of other Mexican restaurants in Southern California. The waitress was nice though which was the one good thing. The owner is not savy enough to respond to even the positive reviews. Arturos will survive until a real Mexican restaurant comes to town. I rate del taco much higher than this place hands down and that’s saying something. Canned beef anyone?
Just moved to the area. Thought I'd try this establishment. I ordered the steak picado. It was good. Nothing more, nothing less. Service was below average. Server simply took my order, brought my food, and then didn't return to check on me. Then it took almost five minutes before someone came to the register to charge me. To be fair, I didn't act like a savage and yell for someone to tend to me. Oh, and to top it off, the portion was small and it was priced way too high for a restaurant of that caliber.
Live in area. My 3rd time visiting. 2/3 experiences, food quality was extremely poor. Today, I ordered a red chili burro. The meats consistency seems days old. (Mushy) Red chili sauce had zero flavor. Margarita, tastes like a bad mix. Terrible heartburn. A small margarita was $10.99! Happy Hour brought it down to $9.99. Don't waste your $. Manager/owner seemed annoyed when I complained about food.

What a great place. The severs are young and timid but very friendly. The food is outstanding with massive portion sizes and the atmosphere/ decor is very homie. Definitely recommend the Pork Shank, zucchini medley, and French onion soup! 10/10!
I visited Gabby’s for the first time a few weeks ago, and ordered the pear and Gorgonzola salad with a side of pasta salad. The pear and Gorgonzola salad was pretty good, but I will say the pears tasted straight from a can. The pasta salad was also not pasta salad, it was macaroni salad, which also tasted just like the store bought kind. The waitress was very kind and accommodating, but the food wasn’t as authentic as I’d hoped it would be for a small town restaurant.
Gabby’s restaurant im going to say was the best so far my wife and I went to try it out and I wish I had known about this place early in the week because it was delicious and Kudos to Rachael the server she was awesome and very friendly, also the inside of the restaurant was definitely cozy and we love the rustic decor. Oh and I could not believe how fast they serve us I’m pretty sure it was because there was not a whole lot of people but still I’m pretty sure they are still fast at serving. If you in town you need to check it out you will love it.

Out with friends and our 1st time in El Charro Norte. The drinks and food were delicious. The server, a very attentive, friendly and professional young lady. Everything was correct and hot. We're originally from Southern California and have been in Prescott Valley Arizona for 7 years now. We looked high and low and hadn't found a decent Mexican restaurant until now. Well done, and we'll definitely return with a group of 20 or more friends from our Friday bowling and dinner group. Thanks guys
Good food, overall. The dinners are really good. Our server was Haley and she was awesome at her job. This place is in the boonies, but worth the drive. The views are great. The bar area and front dining area have tv's. There's plenty of parking. They periodically have bands. There's an outdoor area with firepits, cornhole, and a stage area. Cons: The chips are obviously from a store bought bag of tortilla chips and the salsa is just so-so.
Finally tried the Friday night Fish n Chips. And, we LOVED it! Cooked just right, crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Nice jalapeño touch in the slaw. Tasty seasoned fries too. Definitely make this a monthly dinner for us. Please keep this on the menu!

It’s our first time dining! Service was great and fast ⭐️ We ordered carne asada & shrimp without beans Bathroom was well-maintained which is a + !
Food was delicious! It did however, take about an hour for 2 burritos. When you walk in the restaurant, you're supposed to just sit wherever. We waited about 5 minutes and finally a customer told us to just fo sit. It would've been nice to have a sign that says please seat yourself or something.
Service was fantastic. Friendly, quick, nice and genuine. My chicken Fajitas were delicious, even asked for them without green bell peppers. Wasn't an issue. Chicken meat was quality and cooked to perfection. Definitely would be back.

Best BBQ in the Yavapai County Region. Their slow smoked brisket is mouth watering, frys golden and give that soft and crunchy everyone loves in a French fry. Don't forget to ask for their Chipotle ranch and sample their in-house created sauces! This place is amazing and the staff go the distance! Thank you Up in Smoke!
First time here. We live closer to Prescott so usually eat there. My wife is vegetarian so I rarely get BBQ. Today we had a dental appt. in Chino so I decided to try Up in Smoke. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs - (6) ribs and the potatoes salad to go. The ribs were tasty and tender. Potatoe salad also good. The only complaint I had was the portion and pricing. My wife recently spent 10-weeks in a rehab facility close to Colts BBQ. I ate their baby back ribs twice weekly. Their ribs had more meat on them. The flavor was about the same as U in S. The price was a little less at $16.50 but, there was enough leftover for another meal. Their sweet beans are killer. Their potatoes salad and cole slaw is terrible. Soooo, if in Chino, it's Up in Smoke. If Prescott, try Colts.
Mom and Pop BBQ joint, amazing brisket, Charro beans and Jalapeño coleslaw. Best BBQ i’ve had in the Prescott Chino Valley area. Price is very reasonable with a discount for cash! Also had live music on the Friday I was there.
Danny B’s Fish and Chips is a premier dining establishment dedicated to serving the finest in traditional British cuisine, specializing in expertly crafted fish and chips….
The service is good and food is okay. The battered cod sandwich portion is small. The shrimp and lobster quesadilla is tasty and has enough shrimp but one lump or strip of lobster. The French fries are crispy and delicious and the badass burger was really nice and big and seemed it was freshly cooked, not frozen. It’s a clean place, and great to go if you’re hungry. The staff is amazingly courteous.
First time at Danny B’s. Great Food and the service was awesome. Terrific experience with a fun atmosphere. Plenty of food & it was delicious. Highly recommend Danny B’s!!
Sadly we went by this place many times and since we are looking to buy a house in Chino Valley we hoped to find and use a local restaurant not a chain we could try and put on our go to place. We go out of our wat to patronize small local places. We saw Danny B's in Chino Valley on the main road and we like fish so went there Wednesday at 4PM Since it is a small place and we did not want to wait we went early driving from Prescott. We both were not very hungry but felt fish and chips would be a perfect portion To be expected the place was empty with only one employee and us the only customers. A very nice lady who was the waitress, cook and everything else. I ordered a draft beer my wife ordered a fruit drink. Since the main dishes include a variety of fish and chips my wife ordered the cod and I ordered cod and shrimp which came with 2 piece of cod and 3 shrimp. Even though this is a small place and basic each dish was $20. It came with slaw and fries and hash puppies. It looked OK at first but we soon found out the cook/waitress left everything in the fryer way to long. To say it was over cooked is not saying much. My wife's was overcooked so she only ate 1 1/2 pieces of her cod then gave up selecting the piece less done. Mine was worse. The shrimp was as close to burnt as it could be. The shrimp was so dry you could bang it on the table and very over cooked. I ate part of one shrimp and gave up leaving the other 2 as they were the worse. The cod was way over cooked. The top piece looked ok at first but the one under was smaller and even more well done. Normally I would have sent it back but by that time neither of us felt like eating. When we got the check it was very plain that I left most and my wife only ate about half but the waitress made no comment. My wife and I have a soft touch for someone working hard for a living and not wanting to make an issue ruining her day since there was no manager or owner on site but she should have noticed the uneaten food and at least made a comment. There was no way she could have missed this. In spite we were very disappointed we paid the check and gave her about a 24% tip. I feel bad about writing a negative review since there are so many good ones but I am sure if the food was prepared properly it might have been good. Like I said we are looking for a house or lot to build but have not found one yet. If we do we probably will give Danny's another try so many good reviews mean it was an off night but could have been rectified if the lady seeing the food was overdone in the first place and redid the order or offered to not charge us.

Ashley, our waitress was incredible. Her service was amazing and a fabulous smile. Nino who made our amazing pizza today. We love love, love the crust. It was crispy and not greasy. We really enjoy it. I’m sure Steve the owner is great and a hard-working man who is trying to provide for his family. But under the current world it’s very hard to make a profit. I hope someday, they a give the place a good cleaning and give it a face lift, it is well overdue. I did talk to gentleman and his wife that drove 15 miles today just to get your steak sandwich. They said there’s no other like it in the area.. I’d love to give you a five, maybe next time we can get the community to come in and help give you like a shoe shine, it definitely needs to be polished. Also, please bring in spicy Italian sausage. You want to keep us Italians happy, lol. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Fabulous food and friendly, attentive staff. I can hardly wait to come back into town again and try something new on your menu! Seriously the best thin crust pizza I have ever had, hands-down! And this is in comparison to the great Chicago pizzerias I enjoy so much. The crust was absolutely PERFECT! The fried mushrooms were also amazing, very flavorful... I wish I'd ordered more to take with me! Our server was extremely friendly, stayed on top of everything, and even anticipated our needs, bringing us a box for the leftovers before we even had a chance to ask. The food was fresh and arrived more quickly than I would have expected, considering that there were other customers ahead of us. Also, the portions were generous, and we have some leftover slices to enjoy later. The booths could use some upkeep, but everything else was so absolutely wonderful, I would never hesitate to return. Keep up the good work, guys! I look forward to our next visit!
We have lived in Chino Valley for over a year now and we finally had a chance to try Aroma’s Pizza. Service was nice & friendly and the restaurant was clean. We ordered their special: large cheese pizza & 20 wings for $35, which is a great deal. We also ordered a medium monster pizza sub pepperoni for olives (I wanted more of a “supreme” style pizza). Pizzas & wings were pipping hot and fresh. They included parmesan cheese and red pepper packets and 2 sides of ranch (I’m assuming for free since we did not order any ranch…. Maybe for the wings?) when I tell you WE REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS PLACE, we did. The pizza is boring. The crust is flavorless & the sauce is flavorless. Please know it was cooked perfectly, the textures were great as well but the pizza is boring. We had to add salt to the cheese pizza to bring out some type of flavor. The wings were great, a little too heavy on the sauce but hey, I’d rather have more sauce and scrape some off than little too no sauce. Absolutely no disrespect to this restaurant, it’s been here for years and I’m sure they have a loyal clientele that sware by their flavor, but this is just my opinion. Absolutely give it a try for yourself but unfortunately I think next time maybe we’ll try their pasta dishes and give that a go, but for pizza, we won’t be back.

Driving through Prescott on our way home from Northern AZ, I was looking for a locally owned lunch joint, and chose Gabby's because they had a good overall rating..... and it's the nickname for one of my sisters. But a look at the menu sold me it would be worth the stop, and we were NOT disappointed!! My husband had what he says is the juiciest and most flavorful burger he's ever had (mesquite burger) along with some killer fries (crispy yet fluffy inside, and good seasoning). I enjoyed the apple chicken walnut sandwich with potato salad. I was quite skeptical about toasted raisin bread, as a croissant is probably a more typical delivery system for a chicken salad sandwich, but WOW. It was a surprising depth of flavor, and I also enjoyed generous chunks of both apple and walnuts in the chicken salad. And the potato salad was herby and satisfying, reminded me a bit of family picnics as a child. And no issues with the staff. We were seated quickly and felt we had adequate attention at our table without feeling rushed, despite arriving within the last hour of business for the day. If we lived closer, we would swing back in for a meal in a heartbeat! And have already recommended Gabby's to anyone we know who has plans to be in the area. It was a delight, and we left feeling well-fed and ready to tackle the rest of a long drive home.
Busy place. Can see why. The food was off the chain! Will be back. Our server was awesome as well as all the other employees. Highly recommend. We had breakfast.
The food was so good. We had to come back a second time on our way home from vacation. The staff is very friendly and the food was very flavorful

The lady who takes orders was very kind and she answered all of my questions regarding the dishes. Food was so good, we loved their wonton soup and Thai BBQ chicken. We also tried their cream cheese wontons and pork thai fried rice which were very tasty. Would love to try their Pho next time
Awesome fresh food, cooked after you order. This is GOOD Thai food, not an "Americanized" version. Great portions at a very reasonable price. You cannot go away hungry. I'd highly recommend this place.
We decided to check this place out on a whim, and I am so glad we did. The food is delicious and the portions are great. My boyfriend doesn't really care for noodles but even he said he'd get the Pad Thai any day! Will definately be coming back here and I would highly reccomend it!
