Everything is thoughtfully and tastefully done from the details of the food (thick slice tomatoes on the burgers) to decor (excellent lighting). The staff are friendly and purposeful (quick service without a frantic vibe). I could not love this place more!

Worked our way through the entire drink menu. Every cocktail is a clean 10/10. Truly a hidden gem. Staff was fantastic, attentive and had great suggestions. Atmosphere of this venue is amazing. Decor is great and the entire place is clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend.

I recently had a great dining experience at this restaurant with a lovely patio. The outdoor seating area was nicely decorated, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The service was also impressive—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Overall, it was a wonderful place to dine with a nice patio, tasty food, and excellent service.

We've been here a few times and it's always consistently good food, generous portions and always well presented. Disappointed today when we ordered an appie and lunch, and everything was brought out together - made it difficult to truly enjoy everything. The spinach dip was way too thick and cheesy, the cheese overwhelmed everything. The servers are all very friendly and nice, and the atmosphere is lovely, very clean.

Our experience today at the Wood restaurant was almost perfect. Great selection of wines by the glass. Interesting lunch menu. The service was timely and friendly. So nice that our dog could join us on the deck. The interior renovations are refreshing. Definitely recommend and will be back.

I was super excited to try this place! I love trust the chef experiences. However, this was overall disappointing. The lamb croquette was difficult to cut as the breading was so thick and chewy. The lamb inside tasted okay and the sauce was tasty and well balanced though. The pork with ancient grains was the most disappointing. Difficult to cut through. Extremely dry. We ended up sending one back. By the time we got it, we were all done ours but tasted the fresh one and realized HOW BAD they actually all were. We told our server who did not offer to compensate us in any way. The chocolate cake was dry. Would not recommend and will not be back. The place only had 4 other people in total in the restaurant so I’m not sure why our meals were cooked so poorly.

What an absolutely phenomenal experience! Our February wedding at this venue was nothing short of perfection. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was taken care of with kindness and accommodation. From the seamless setup of both ceremony and reception to the mouthwatering cuisine, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The ambiance, with the majestic mountain view framed by the illuminated windows, was simply breathtaking. We highly recommend this venue for both weddings and dining experiences. Our heartfelt thanks to the team for making our special day truly unforgettable!

Celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday here. The space was fabulous. Great views of 3 sisters and Rundle. If the weather is nice you can also use the huge balcony. Nice that you have the entire space to yourselves. Bartender was attentive but not overbearing and offered a nice selection of cocktails and local beers. They also offer a corkage fee if you would like to bring your own wine. The menu is reserved in advance with a nice selection of protein. Food was very tasty and well presented Service was elegant. If you want to have a private event in Canmore I highly recommend Sensory.

Our service was fantastic and our meal equaled every bit of the service we received. There are just some places that you say “I’d eat there again and I’d order the same thing again” and this is very much one of those places. We very much enjoyed our visit.

The Grizzly Paw Pub is a great place to stop for a bite to eat while in Canmore. We grabbed some lunch on a Sunday while travelling through. It was very busy, which is quite normal during the summer months, but we were quickly seated. Our server was very prompt and helpful. Their house brewed sodas are awesome, a hit for the whole family. Our children decided on the Cubs Cheeseburger and the Cubs Mac & Cheese. Both meals were devoured. The mac & cheese was very creamy and cheesy, and definitely didn't come from any sort of package. My wife ordered the Famous Boss Burger, and I went for the Hot Honey Fried Chicken sandwich with a poutine. Everything was very tasty. I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich, and didn't find it overly spicy at all. We'll definitely return again.

Good food and beer crafted in house. Good location downtown with atmosphere both inside and out. Service is good too. This combines to make it a very popular and busy place. No parking on site. TIP: Some beer is seasonal, so make sure you try it while you can. You can also buy some for carryout. Street and lot parking is not fun. You are better to park further and walk.

Highly recommend! We were craving pasta, and coincidentally it was Thursday. Saw that they had a Pasta Thursday deal so it was perfect. It’s a selection of pasta that you can get at a very affordable price. My boyfriend ordered the lasagna, and it was delicious! But I love seafood pasta, and they had that as one of their signature dishes. So of course I had to order it. It was on their regular menu so I paid full price. And it was excellent! The restaurant was packed that night so we were asked if we wanted to be seated at the bar. It worked out well for us since it was a bit more peaceful , and my boyfriend could watch baseball while I planned activities for the next day. We also had a misunderstanding with other guests, and our server/ manager went out of his way to make up for it. We greatly appreciated the excellent service. We highly recommend this place !

We liked the very special and tasty dishes. Good variety of gluten free dishes, too. Ronnie the waiter was frienly and helpful. The atmosphere was great, nice music and not too load. We enjoyed very much!

Had an excellent dining experience. Service was fantastic from start to finish. Food (see picture) was delicious, well presented, and properly proportioned for four of us to leave just enough space for their desert menu. Ten Peaks draft was perfect with the wings and burger.

We enjoyed the food so much we ate here two nights in a row. Everything we ordered was delicious! The first night we shared the Seared Scallop appetizer. They were so amazing we went back the second night so we could each get our own. Mackenzie our server was excellent!! I do not normally get dessert but she recommended the Blueberry Cheesecake and it was also delicious!!

My family and I were visiting and everyone was telling us to try Alberta steak. Table was the nearest to us and trying steak in downtown Banff was expensive. Checked off “trying Alberta Steak” in this restaurant and I would say it’s good. Price was more affordable compared to other steakhouse. The truffle fries was an amazing complement as well as the purple sauce that came with it. We also ordered skillet cookie and cheesecake for dessert. I prefer the cheesecake because the cookie was a bit doughy. It would have been five stars but there was some hard plastic in our dessert which I understand was a mistake. However, it is a choking hazard for children. Other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our waitress was also apologetic about the plastic.

Located inside a hotel, food was fine. Service could have been better. They forgot to bring us plates and utensils after they said they would. The papperdelle and short rib were really well cooked and delicious. The mussels and broccoli were also very good

The attention to detail! From the decorations of the restaurant to the choice of music. It was such a lovely environment. The food is a work of art, very creative & well thought out. Beautiful execution, highly recommend for the unique experience in Canmore.

Definite wow spot! Creative, delicious food with great presentation. All sorts of interesting ingredients you’re probably having for the first time. Service to match. We were there in late June and they were just starting in on the Drupes and Wildflowers menu. We both did the hunter menu. I had the wine pairing and my wife the juice, and both were a great compliment. I also had a pre dinner cocktail that was a scotch-like local whiskey along with smoke that the bartender captured right from a burning board….delicious way to start!

We had an exceptional birthday celebration dinner at Canmore's Sauvage. The 5-course meal with wine pairing was an amazing experience. Each dish was an incredible, unique, all-Canadian tasting and perfectly complemented by the wine selections. Our hostess was outstanding, explaining each course and pairing in detail, and patiently answering all our questions. The evening was a true culinary journey and standout success, including the candle on dessert and the staff signed Birthday card! We were thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Highly recommended!

All our dishes were good. I just wish that my calamari was not mixed with 2/5s peppers. My sister’s spaghetti had so much tomatoes. My husband was happy with his chicken parmigiana. So was my son with his steak and my Nay with her lasagna.

Excellent food!!! Amazing portions making the cost of eating out extremely reasonable! We could not get over the portions size and the great quality and fantastic taste, super delicious dinner!!! Our server Jana was super sweet, pleasant and all around gave great service! Highly recommend Patricia Steak House!

Food was great, also with nice view. After a whole day hiking, me and my boyfriend enjoyed it so very much! And he is a czech, he was very pleased to see czech beer here.

I loved the Iron Goat Pub & Grill here in Canmore!! I really liked the building and interior, additionally the views on the patio were phenomenal! The staff were extremely kind and accommodating too! When a beer was mistakenly given on a flight, the staff replaced the wrong one right away! As for food, it was on the pricier side! But it was delicious! I had the salmon and it was flaky, flavourful and delicious! Definitely coming back here!

Loved this restaurant so much we chose to eat there two nights in a row. Our servers were great both nights and the food was wonderful! We especially loved the mango berry cheesecake and of course I forgot my pic of it. We loved it so much that if you decided to ship us one, we would be forever thankful!!

Parking lot is below the hill, but the spaces are kind of tight if people do not park perfectly. I came here because it was recommended by a friend who visited last year. My experience was not as pleasant. I made reservations long ago luckily as they did not allow walk-ins, and we were seated quickly. I ordered the bison sirloin, and my girlfriend ordered the coconut shrimp salad. The beans and carrot for the bison seemed like an afterthought and didn’t really go with the dish. The fries were salted nicely and the bison were really good. My girlfriend really liked the coconut shrimp salad and I had a bite of it as well. I have a 3 star rating because of the price they charged overall for the food and service provided. The service was pretty poor, water was refilled once, my girlfriend was thirsty and ended up drinking my water as well. Our empty glasses were on the end of the table and were visible. Waitress visited us a handful of times and remained absent for most of the time. I saw her refill water at other tables but seemed to have forgotten about us. I would visit other restaurants in the area as there are similarly priced restaurants that provide higher quality service.

BRAZILIAN ALL YOU CAN EAT MEAT This is a great restaurant for the special occasion to try a variety of barbecued meats including: beef rib, rib eye, picanha, lamb, and many more. The sides are also delicious and salads are delicious. But save room for the meat. Great place to taste a little bit of everything. Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best food and service we've had in a long time! Best Brazilian Restaurant by far. Expensive, but worth every penny. LOVED the sides and salads... The cucumber pineapple was amazing as was the chicken stroganoff and my husband could not get enough of the chicken wings, to die for ribeye and, well, everything else! So good. So special. Such a treat among the regular OK food. Treat yourself! Would eat here everyday if possible.

My wife and I ate her yesterday and had a wonderful time. First we had a reservation at 7:15. We were pretty impressed as it was only about 1/2 to 2/3 full upon our arrival. We were sat down and our waitress quickly gave us the run down of how to order etc. She was very nice and really responsive removing plates and refilling drinks. First, The sides were very good with our favorites being the acai slaw and mashed potatoes. The slaw was very fresh and the potatoes were well seasoned and came with a gentle amount of cheese. My wife and I also don't drink alcohol, but decided to splurge and found their non alcoholic drinks to be very impressive. Especially for 7-8$ there were the best drinks we had in canmore. The meats were all great as expected. I especially liked the ribs, garlic steak, ribeye and picanha. Overall, if your the carnivore type a really great stop with great food and drinks all around. If your not a huge meat eater, the sides and drinks were still very good but you nay struggle to justify the 70$ price tag.

My partner and I had the most amazing experience at Crazyweed last night. We had Spencer as our server and he was by far the best serving experience we have ever had. He totally took care of us and offered some great recommendations for dishes. We were especially blown away by the Labneh, and the fried chicken. I’m glad we had desert as well because the chocolate coffee cake was to die for! Amazing experience and really lovely restaurant atmosphere. Thank you again Spencer for making our dining experience so special!

Lived up the the fine dinning experience. Loved the vibe - lots of light , big open spaces , nice decorative touches We are vegan, the server highlighted items on our menus ( we sat in the bar area , for dinner ) that were vegan - this was limited to side dishes. We ordered ; mushroom skewers, mixed greens, grilled broccoli, beets , chips, and salsa Quantities were small which allowed us to experience a number of dishes without over ordering Each dish had some unique element which added to the experience In hindsight, we should have asked about spice levels, as we found all dishes ( except the salads ) were slightly hotter / more spicy then our taste My favourite dish was definitely the mushroom skewers ; followed by the salad and which had a great tasting dressing - served in the side which I appreciated

We actually went twice during our trip - once for dinner and once for happy hour (half off pizzas and drinks). The pizzas were delicious and definitely our favorite items. The parmesan churro was also good. The steak tartare was a bit too saucy for our taste, though. The high tea sour was amazing.

Timing may be everything. We were a little early for dinner and it is the off season so we’re sure that may have been a factor, but none-the-less, it was almost library quiet when we began our meal. Overall, the food was good and service was great. If we get the chance to return, perhaps the experience will be more lively if we come at another time of year.

No way this place should be less than 4.5/5 stars. My buddy and I went here 3 times during our week-long vacation here because the food was that good. In particular, the duck wings were fire. They were crispy and had a nice sweet glaze on them. Also, the braised lamb dishes, including dip sandwich and the fried udon noodles hit the spot. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you’re looking for chill vibes, good beer, and excellent food for the price, you must go here.

Highly recommended and a must go place in Canmore! Could not believe it has been rated below 4.2! We love the vibes, service, food and beer. Nothing to complain about but a road construction next to the restaurant but it didn’t ruin any of the quality! We look forward to come again!

From the initial welcoming, service was exceptional throughout the night. The service staff was very attentive and always asking questions on preferences and ensuring each item came out too expectations. The food and the cocktails were beyond my expectations. I traveled from Chicago, and this quality of this meal was beyond what I expected. I had the 6 course chef tasting and each dish was so unique with great flavors. The cocktails were also beautifully crafted and tasty. The quality of each dish was seen and no detail missed.

Unique dishes, interesting and complex combination of flavours in their 6 course chef's tasting menu. Delicious! Incredible service - above and beyond -- you really can't find such sincere, friendly and knowledgeable service like this in many establishments these days. It was a great dining experience overall!

Celebrated a birthday here with the tasting menu. We found the dishes to be adventurous and delicious. The tasting menu included: Amuse Bouche: Assorted seeds and nuts w fig chutney and feta foam. A surprise of how light and flavourful this was foie gras w/ house brioche, rhubarb, lavender, burnt honey gel, pistachio. This one was not a hit, and a bit of disappointment. lamb tartare was delicious and creative w strawberry, hazelnut crunch & a bit of dijon mayo. The mains of pork & scallop and the duck were both excellently prepared and absolutely amazing. This is a culinary must for any foodie. Well our server was also super friendly and knowledgeable. the restaurant was also very accommodating based on our preferences. The only drawback was the atmosphere. It is an open concept and a bit cramped based on crowded it was and quite noisy. Not exactly the special or romantic experience we were looking for.

We had an incredible dining experience at 4296 in Canmore! We opted for the chef’s tasting menu for two, specifically the vegetarian option, and we were blown away by the variety and quality of the dishes. We were served 7-8 different items, and every single one was delicious, perfectly crafted, and full of flavor. Matthew, our mixologist, went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration special. His attention to detail and hospitality truly elevated the evening. We were so full by the end of the meal that we had to take our dessert to go! If you're in the area and looking for amazing vegetarian or vegan food, I highly recommend 4296. The portions are generous, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. Can’t wait to go back!

4296 is in a class of its own when it comes to restaurants. The service was incredible. Our waiter, John, was attentive, friendly, and perfectly matched the energy of our group. He was fun to be around and adeptly accommodated our vegetarian and seafood-avoidant members. The food here is some of the best I've ever eaten. With its fresh, high-quality ingredients and inspired fusion of flavors, the menu took us on a culinary journey around the world. This restaurant deserves all the praise it receives; it's genuinely on par with 2-3 Michelin star establishments. I truly loved 4296, and Chef Blake, who is nothing short of a culinary savant. If you have the ability, go. Just show up extremely hungry.

Chef Blake and his staff deserve 10 stars! Seriously one of the best meals we have EVER experienced! Thank you to their entire team!
