Decided to try the take out service from Spago last night. We always enjoy the food from Spago, but the take out service was chaotic. I had to wait 1/2 hour in a tiny room with many other customers. No seats. The staff were obviously overwhelmed and would not speak to me. When my order finally came out, it was laid on the floor, as there was no room on the small countertop. The food turned out to be good overall. The salad was disappointing though, just a handful of lettuce. There must have been a mistake on the bread allowance – just 4 tiny pieces for a family meal order (see picture) We will dine in at Spago in the future, but not take out.
