I went in expecting an English pub and was surprised with what I found! It is more of an English pub with an American twist… You won’t find malt vinegar or HP Sauce on the tables, and the chips on the menu aren’t chunky chips, they’re lovely thick-cut homemade potato crisps. I recommend giving them a go. In general, flavor profiles are not what you’ll find in England, such as a nice fennel sausage in your sausage roll. Speaking of sausage rolls and no brown sauce, the dish is served with petal sauce (ketchup, mayo, garlic), which was new for me! The food is good quality and nicely prepared and presented. Admittedly, it’s a bit on the pricey side. The staff are super friendly and easy to chat with. Our glasses are kept full, and we were given just the right level of attention.
