I’ve been coming here for years, but I wouldn’t call myself a regular. Whenever I bring guests who have never been, they’re always very pleased. This was the case again last week. My companion and I were very happy with all our selections. We had the fried calamari and the zucchini chips for starters and the red snapper and lamb chops as our mains. Everything was served hot and fresh with portions so large we had to leave quite a bit on our plates. The lamb chops were the best I’d had in quite some time. Tender and succulent, and they were able to accommodate my preference for them to be served rare. Staff were friendly, as usual, but service was slower on this particular visit than normal. Nice that it’s a BYOB with a corkage fee, but we weren’t drinking that evening. Prices have risen steadily over the years, but that’s the case almost everywhere. I would consider them competitive, especially given the portion sizes.
