Blown away by the food and service. I’ve lived in West Van for the majority of my life and today was my first time. And I will be back again and again. Calamari fritti was fresh, light and airy and came pretty quickly. The focaccia was so soft and chewy and supple, we ended up ordering a second serving (it’s small, only 4 slices, so we didn’t feel too guilty). Pasta was fresh (we ordered the veal meatballs and the sauce had bone marrow in it and the shaved tenderloin pasta dish) and offerings were unique to what were typically used to at an Italian restaurant. Service was top notch. Tables cloths and cloth napkins kind of place — anyone under age 49 there I’d consider to be young :) Will be back!
