Barrel & Bushel is a restaurant right next to the Hyatt hotel and connected to the Tysons Corner mall. The service is slow and uninterested, but luckily that suited the vibe of our dinner (we weren’t in a rush). The atmosphere is fine. Extremely high ceilings mean that everything echoes and there’s a bar with TVs next to the dining room, so it’s loud. There’s no restroom in the restaurant. You have to go to the hotel lobby to use the restroom. However, I really enjoyed the food. The LOADED TOTS are fried just right. The PIMENTO DEVILED EGGS are tasty (though very heavy on pimento). I got the PUB SLIDERS as my meals and they were quite tasty. The SMOKED CHEESE CRAB SOUP was a little different for cream of crab soup, and I liked it, though some may be put off by the amount of old bay in the recipe. My Boutique Apple cocktail was so tasty I had to order two! The CARAMEL APPLE BREAD PUDDING was out of this world and the CHOCOLATE SWISS CHALET CAKE was delicious as well. If I’m in no rush, I’d return for sure!
