My experience at Gran Agave was mixed. Upon arrival, the restaurant was completely empty, setting a quiet tone. We ordered both food and drinks, but there were several hiccups in service. The food arrived first, and it was only after a 10-minute wait and a follow-up inquiry that they realized they had forgotten my drink order. Additionally, there was a mix-up with the food; we ordered tacos al pastor, but received beef tacos instead, which had to be exchanged, and unfortunately, I couldnāt take a photo of the original dish. Once these issues were pointed out, the staff became more attentive. While the food was satisfactory in flavor and portion size, the presentation of the combo plates could be improved as everything was jumbled together, making it hard to distinguish the components. Overall, the food might merit four stars, but the initial service issues brought my overall rating down to three stars.
