The restaurant is specialty is that it is a 🍲 Restaurant
When you have a craving for dim sum, go to this place. It’s a short drive on the outskirts of the city. I’m quite sure it’s the only one in the St. John’s area with dim sum till 3 pm daily. When I went, not every item i wanted was available. Washrooms surprisingly clean. Service – typical. I can tell they’re Northern Chinese (tastes) but not bad for what it is, where it is, e.g. shrimp dumpling shell is thicker and not crystal/ translucent. Beef rice noodle has cabbage and carrots and greasier than preferred. (Although, I do like cabbage.) BBQ pork buns and siu mai – my wife liked. Pricing – more compared to GTA for what you get but everything on the Rock is gonna be more expensive. Overall, at least 3.5. I hope this place lasts as most available is N.A. Chinese. Would likely return when in the area again.
