Boondocks has been on my list for a couple of years, but it’s kinda in the, well, boondocks. The stars finally aligned and I found my way there. It seems I’ve made a terrible mistake and wasted a couple of years of terrific meals in a quaint environment. It’s refreshingly down to earth for an area that continues to upscale everything in sight. And it’s definitely worth the trip. Portions are fairly generous, the food is delicious and the staff is excellent. I know most folks opt for the fried side of the menu, but I’m quite partial to their spice blend on the grilled side.
