Used a groupon – Deluxe Date Night + Wine for TWO. 0.5L of wine, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert, 2 entrees. We didn’t drink alcohol so we were offered a mocktail each. Our friend who went the week before was offered 2 mocktails each, additional appetizer, additional dessert. So for value, it was poor. Food: blackened creole chicken breast – overcooked, dry, hard as a rubber sole, pretty salty. 0/10 Steelhead salmon – steelhead are trout, not salmon. It was overcooked, but less dry than the chicken. 6.5/10 Wagyu carpaccio – all the accompaniments overwhelmed the taste of the raw beef. I could only taste the arugula, capers, mayonnaise, toast, and none of the beef. It’s okay. 5/10 Creme brulee – French macron was hard and not tasty. The sugar had an off taste. The creme was brown – due to gingerbread being mixed in. Overly sweet. 3/10. Seasonal mocktail – tasted strongly of cinnamon, with some fruits mixed in, that’s all I can say. Cinnamon was not listed on the menu as an ingredient. 1/10. Pretty disappointed. Service was mediocre. Food was bad. Value was terrible. I probably wouldn’t come back even if the meal was free.
