We are big fans of Khazana by Chef Sanjeev Kapoorās Brampton branch, so we decided to celebrate Diwali by trying the Milton location. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant and definitely not what we expected for such a special occasion. To start with, the restaurantās atmosphere was disappointing. The place was filled with smoke, making it hard to believe this is a Chef Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant. It seemed like their exhaust fans werenāt working properly, which made the experience uncomfortable. As for the food, we ordered Corn Crispy Tikki and Sindoori Paneer Tikka as starters. While these were okay, the main course was a major disappointment. The Paneer Tikka Masala looked and tasted completely different from what weāve had at the Brampton location, and the Makhan Malai Kofta was the worst weāve ever had in Canada. The Garlic Naan was decent, but it couldnāt make up for the subpar dishes. We shared our feedback with the owner/manager directly, but I felt compelled to write this review because of what happened afterward. Something was extremely wrong with the food. I ended up with an upset stomach and food poisoning, which ruined my Diwali night and left me unable to sleep. This was a terrible experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant. A big no from us!
