Tequila Jack's Restaurant & Cantina - Long Beach

We were in town for a cruise porting out of Port of Los Angeles and some of our party stayed at the Hyatt Long Beach. This restaurant is directly across from the hotel. It was very busy! Tables were full inside and out but we got seated right away which was nice. If you sit out on the back patio you’ll have a nice view of the water. We sat indoors near the front of the restaurant. When we were first seated, they sat our large party at a smaller table and the manager had noticed and come over and asked us if we wanted to add another table which was very nice and considerate. Service was friendly and fast. Food ran us about $17-$20 pp. Everyone in our party (there was 9 of us) enjoyed our dishes. Good size portions and temperature of the food was nice and hot. I personally ordered the Beach House Platter and it was HUGE! Enough for min 2 people, maybe even 3 people! One of my friends ordered a margarita and it was STRONG so if that’s your thing, order one! It’s not the BEST Mexican food you’ll ever eat IMO but it was good and we would return if we were in the area and wanted Mexican food.
