We recently visited The Proper, and I must say, it was an extraordinary dining experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. To begin, we ordered the calamari, and it was absolutely excellent. The calamari was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender on the inside, and it was seasoned to perfection. It was accompanied by a delightful dipping sauce that complemented the dish wonderfully. For our main courses, I opted for the BBQ burger, and my partner chose the Philly cheesesteak. The BBQ burger was a true delight – the patty was juicy and flavorful, topped with just the right amount of BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and fresh vegetables. The bun was soft yet held everything together perfectly. My partner’s Philly cheesesteak was equally impressive. The steak was tender and well-seasoned, paired with melted cheese and sautéed onions and peppers. Every bite was a burst of delicious flavors, and the portion sizes were generous. We couldn’t leave without trying one of their desserts, so we decided to share the tiramisu. It was, without a doubt, the highlight of our meal. The tiramisu was light, creamy, and had just the right balance of coffee and cocoa flavors. It was the perfect sweet ending to our evening. In addition to the fantastic food, the service at The Proper was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. The staff genuinely cared about our dining experience, and it showed in their attention to detail. The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. The Proper has a cozy yet modern vibe, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. It’s an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Overall, I highly recommend The Proper to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The combination of delicious food, outstanding service, and inviting atmosphere makes it a standout restaurant. We will definitely be returning!
