Oh my goodness exactly the type of place I was looking for to satisfy my comfort meal craving! Catfish seasoning is crazy, I know fried chicken is popular, but not everyone can fry fish to perfection, and they do that every time. I went back twice in a week for the same order. Only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because they’re pretty bad at answering the phone. Don’t order online though, apparently they don’t get the order and I had to show them I paid for them to make the food. They told me to call next time, so I called 4x to place an order, I kid you not, and then ended up just walking in just to find only 1 customer waiting. So why couldn’t anyone answer the phone to place my order! lol it’s okay it was worth the wait but that can be improved upon. Go check them out though, soul food that’s good and not in Oakland is rare ☺️
