We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It’s a beautiful restaurant with very kind staff. We went at 6pm just as the sun was setting so we didn’t get the view but it was still nice to look out on the water. We were seated right in front the door to the outside seating and beside a table that was really loud. The constant traffic of people coming in and out of the door was distracting and didn’t make for the best experience. We tried to wait it out but eventually asked to be moved and the staff was really understanding. Aside from that, the meal was good. We chose the tasting menu and my husband added the wine pairing. The food was delicious and the service was good overall. The portions are small in the beginning but you will not leave hungry. I’ve seen a few comments/ questions about price and our bill for two was about $500. One minor nit is that they forgot the birthday cake for my husband. I’m thinking it was forgotten because we switched seats. Not a big deal but it would have been nice.
