Surcheros - Hinesville, GA - Hinesville

We left the establishment and took our business somewhere. I eat at Surcheros quite often in my hometown and usually have a good experience. Unfortunately, my visit to this location left me extremely disappointed. First, the restaurant was not clean. The serving area had food scattered everywhere, and the overall hygiene was lacking. The employee I encountered displayed uncaring and unprofessional behavior, engaging in unsanitary practices. I observed him using a metal utensil lid to tap off rice into the trash can, which is unacceptable for maintaining food safety standards. Additionally, the employee’s appearance was not up to par. His pants were sagging to the point where we could see his underwear. This is simply unacceptable in a workplace setting. After reading other reviews, it is evident that this location suffers from a lack of management oversight and accountability. The consistent issues indicate that the management doesn’t seem to care about maintaining basic standards. I hope they take these concerns seriously and work to improve cleanliness, employee conduct, and overall management.
