Working abroad. Our boss took our crew out for a year end dinner. Have worked here in Golden, B.C. several times over the years. My first time dining at The Turning Point. A casual ambiance. Seems to be a popular place. Being a food aficionado. I’d say the food was Ok. I had the French onion soup to start. Nice hearty broth. For the main. I had the 10oz striploin w a shrimp skewer, carrots & broccolini. The highlight for me was there crispy mashed loaded potatoes. 2 spring roll shaped deep fried mashed potatoes with all the fixings. They were delicious, have never had them this way. Our server was Shay was awesome and handled our table of 10 like a pro. So all n all, if your in the idyllic town of Golden. Definitely stop in for a meal.
