I really like this place, but was expecting more. They have great food and atmosphere, but the service really depends on who you get. Some servers are amazing and some are just OK. I haven’t been there for a year or two so I always ask for advise on things like the mash potatoes. WOW I had forgotten how plain they were, but it’s disappointing when I ask questions and the answer is “everything is amazing”. Subjectively some people like them one way and some don’t. I was really trying to get information. If you like super plain mash potatoes, then you will love these! I only took one little bite and didn’t want to make a stink about a side of potatoes because I also had the risotto. She didn’t care or ask why they weren’t touched, and was in such a hurry didn’t notice my drink was empty and had been for a long time. However, I have been there and the service was top notch, so I’ll leave it there. On the positive side of things, I would recommend the calamari planks. OMG they are to die for!
