Wanted to try a fancier restaurant in Saguenay. Service- My friend and I waited 45 minutes for our main dishes after our appetizers.. NOT ok. I was extremely disappointed with that. Our waitress was professional, nice. Food- I got the âFondue aux Fromagesâ as an appetizer. Not what I expected and all, I donât like their take on fondue. And it was very mid. Definitely overpriced. I got the âContre-Filet de bĆuf highlandâ for my main dish. It was pretty good! Cooked to the temperature I ordered. The sauce on the plate went well with everything else. Parsnip purĂ©e was good, however, it was cold rather than room temperature/warm. Carrot was cooked well, it wasnât hard to cut. I didnât care for the other vegetables personally. Cocktail- I forget what the full name was but âDâavrilâ is in the name. The cocktail was well made, strong, good and easy to drink! Dessert- classic crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e. Yummy. Due to the wait for my meal alone, I wouldnât return here. I also think they are a bit overpriced.
