I’ve been to El Agave a number of times and the food and service have always been good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. The complimentary chips and salsa are always great but the salsa can be on the spicier side for some. I haven’t ordered anything I’ve disliked yet but the favorite thing I’ve ordered so far have been the Street Tacos, which were surprisingly filling. If you can’t decide, the Special Agave is a sampler with a lot of food and a little bit of everything. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars across the board is because, while still flavorful, the Chili Verde was overcooked and dry a few times I ordered it. Otherwise, each experience has been great.
