Itās been a while since weāve been to Jack Allenās, but we always enjoyed the food. This is our first time at the Cedar Park location. The place is nice and clean and has a rustic look and feel. Checking out the menu, everything under āstartersā sounded delicious, but we only ordered the pimento and cheese and the fried pickles. Both were very good. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the first two bites of the sandwich were great, but I felt the rest of the sandwich after the initial taste was just OK. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The kids had a quesadilla, which was OK and another one had the mac & cheese which they didnāt like. For drinks we ordered the breaking bad margarita, which was excellent. We also ordered the cucumber jalapeƱo margarita and that was really good. The Customer Service was pretty good and our server checked in on us occasionally. Overall, a thumbs up for this visit.
