The layout has changed since our last visit, no more booths, it’s a lot more open and illuminated, but still a lovely ambiant. There’s an outdoor area with a patch for kids to run around in – wish we’d seen that before being seated, but it was cold and rainy anyway. The menu is also substantially different. Several items have very unique combinations of ingredients. The pulled pork chile rejeno has raisins, walnut sauce, and pomegranate in it. I’m sure it’s fine, but it caught me off guard. I went with the regular pulled pork enchiladas, which were incredibly filling. It was tasty, though somewhat plain. The verde sauce was nice. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable given how much everything is everywhere else these days. The kids fajita beef plate was perfect for our picky child, and she ravenously devoured her entire plate and heaping portion of black beans. The kids quesadilla was also a hit. We’d come back just because the kids actually ate their food! Service was top notch. A significant improvement over our last visit. Kyla was very attentive, showed care, and was all around lovely.
