These are photos from 3 separate dining experiences. I do recommend a reservation. However, the wait isn’t very long. Food and drink are excellent here. The seafood pasta is a bit bland, it needs more garlic and the sauce splits, I tried it twice, and unfortunately, it was lacking flavor. children under 19 are not allowed without adults at the table. An 18 year old at the time and his girlfriend were not allowed to dine at the table next to us. They had to be accompanied by an adult. The party of 10 had to split up and leave the booth so an adult was with them. The owner, Peter, got embarrassingly loud and argumentative with one of the guests when asked about the policy. The view is fantastic, ocean view & outside patio dining. It can be a bit loud, There is also a separate quiet dining room on the other side of the bar/ restaurant. There is no view in that dining room, but it has a more formal romantic dining experience. Hands down, best Pina colada I’ve had in Campbell River. On the second visit, I had a reservation for a booth, I was in crutches and explained on the phone I needed a booth to put my leg up. They said they would accommodate me. However, when I arrived, the reservation was confirmed, but I was seated at a table for 2 with my guest and nowhere to put my crutches. When I explained I reserved a booth, the waitress told me they were about to get busy, and turnover is better when more than 2 people are in a booth… I stood my ground and was eventually moved from the table for 2. 2 out of 3 dining experiences had awkward/ uncomfortable interactions with staff, and the 3rd time in the back dining room was extremely pleasant. I like to do reviews for local restaurants after 3 dining experiences because of the rotation of cooks and staff to see if the experience and food are positive or negative in consistency. The garlic shrimp and the shrimp cup( forgot the name) were my favorite. Overall, the appetizers and drinks are why I’d return.
