Angelika's German Imports - Sierra Vista

We dined in for a late lunch/early dinner. We tried the sausage platter which came with 3 different types of sausage and a side of kraut. I’m not a kraut gal but my husband ate it all happily and Said it was slightly sweet, warm and fresh. The sausages each had different flavor but all were tasty. We also tried the Pastrami sandwich on the French bread. The bread was soft and warm with a crunch crust. The veggies were fresh and the meat flavorful. The kind of food you savor. My husband tried the carbonated water which he liked and I had the iced tea which was a nice mild black tea. For dessert we tried the apple blueberry streusel with vanilla ice cream and whipped topping and a tall slice of cheese cake. The cheese cake was creamy light and rich with a hint of lemon flavor. The streusel was warm and comforting with sweet delicious flavor. The crust could have used a little crisp but it was still very good. Angelika was friendly greeted and seated us and took our order. It wasn’t too busy but there were other diners. We were tempted by all the chocolate and other goodies on display as well. Overall a delightful first visit.
