Drinks were great, food was good also. The wings and steak were cooked perfectly. Emmalee did a fantastic job of handling our requests and the order.

Food was delivered in a timely manner. Depending on the theme, may not be very child friendly. For example, during my visit it was "bikini week." Great place overall!

The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was served hot and fresh and was absolutely delicious. The homemade tartar sauce is one of the best I've had. Will definitely return to try other menu items.

I ate lunch here over the weekend and it was sooo good. It was my first time so I tried the meat pies, shrimp etouffee, and a shrimp po boy. My friend had the spicy chicken sandwich and my son had the Mac n cheese. Great portion size, DELICIOUS food. The po boy and etouffee had a lot of shrimp in it, they’re not stingy with it. All of this and my bill was just at $50. Left full with leftovers. For what I received, this price is a steal! Will be back!

We showed up near closing and they found a way to accommodate 12 people. The food was made fresh. This was the best New Orleans food I've had outside of New Orleans. Boudin Balls were the best ever, no question. Grilled pork chop was amazing. Their sea food boil was amazing (get all the sauces mixed). 9.5/10 easy.

The food here is pretty dang good! Fried fish is flavorful, crisp & hot. Philly cheesesteak is delicious. Hamburger was also flavorful with fresh veggies. Hushpuppies, fries & onion rings....can't go wrong. There's sodas, lemonade & tea. There's a salad bar, but we didn't get that. I will definitely eat here again! Yum!

Great spot to stop and enjoy a quick bite. The young lady at the register was friendly and welcoming. Hubby had chicken fried steak and I had the salad bar. We were both pleased. I liked the decor. It seems like you're in an old country store. Their facility is well maintained. They also sell an array of antique collectibles. I recommend you try them.

First time eating here and it was soooo good. We will back next time we are in the area.

A wonderful choice to have a cheap and delicious meal in the Collage station. My friend recommended me to have a try and it was fantastic, the lunch specials have multiple option with 2 sides and a drink, surprisingly it only cost 11 dollars, is amazing! It's where the locals eat. Great food at a fair price. I've tried nearly every main entree and side and all is delicious. The steaks are big, flavorful, cooked the way you want it. Chicken fried steak with gravy is amazing. Fried catfish and shrimp hits the spot everytime. No beer is served but try the tea, freshly brewed and ice cold.

This place is a must stop for anyone in the College Station/Bryan area. The chicken fried steak is a must have combined with the fried okra and broccoli and cheese rice. This culinary delight will leave you wanting more and will create a legendary status in your mind as a perfect place for an amazing meal. Nicole was a delightful server who made us feel welcomed and served us with a smile! Don’t miss the best chicken fried steak in the land! You won’t regret it! Also, the pecan pie combined with a vanilla bean ice cream is a must for dessert.

I was hoping the new built location was going to have better dishes. I quit going after 2-3 times at old location. Food was mediocre and it felt dirty inside. Well I went last night and let me tell you it has not changed. I sat at the bar to wait for my friend. Ordered a Bloody Mary and that was the best thing I had all night$8.00. Service was good and an add was friendly. I ordered the appetizer shrimp diablo and it was dry and overfried with the shrimp just rubbery$10. The entree was the special, blackened Redfish over rice with grilled vegetables$20. It was barely warm and had no flavor. The fish was dry and tough to cut. The rice was bland and also no flavor. The grilled vegetables were delicious though. So after spending $50 with tip left still a bit hungry and disappointed. I won’t be coming back unless I want to drink bloody jar s at the bar. Really not sure how this place stays open.

I had the crab cake appetizer and the shrimp tacos. My husband had fried fish and bacon wrapped jalapeño peppers. Delish! (*edit* we tried the new location across the street today… much nicer! I had the Boil-N-Pot… heads up… it is VERY spicy! )

Delicious! We love our meal and the very unique fish queso appetizer. The shipwreck burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had!

Great place to have Pizza in Bryant. The pizza is great, really big for the price and tasty. The bar looks really good to spend a relaxed date or a good time with friends. Our son loved the Margherita pizza.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal, and the drinks were a delightful complement to our meal. The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the service exceeded our expectations. The staff was not only friendly but also genuinely attentive to our needs. It’s incredibly kid-friendly—our children were entertained and thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We had such a memorable time and can’t wait to come back again. We attended one of their farm dinners and while the ambience was amazing the farm tour fantastic some of the dishes just left us wondering why they serve them. Well, I’m usually a meat eater. I thoroughly enjoyed all the vegetarian dishes. However, the beef belly stew that they served for a main turned out to be three pieces of nothing but fat with great flavor.

The food was great. The farm bread was amazing. The chicken fried steak and gravy are definitely a must try! Good atmosphere, the tables are a little tight but it was Valentines Day when we dined here, so that is understandable. Our waiter was a little inattentive but again, it was Valentine’s Day, so I guess it’s to be expected. Overall, great experience. We will be back.. super excited to see how the menu changes with the seasons. Be sure and give Ronin a try if you have not. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice beautiful place. The menu is seasonal and the food was delicious.I can't wait to come back and try something else. I had the chicken fried steak, potatoes and greens. Tender, well seasoned and delicious. The cocktails were also tasty. The server we had was ok. The one serving the table next to us did a fantastic job. We over heard him explaining the menu in great detail for them. Hope we get him next time. For sure give this place a try!

Stopped in for lunch Saturday. I had the Willie Norris burger with the Yuppy fries. Both were great. The wife had her burger as a bowl and loved it. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is great. Oh yeah, the drinks were great as well. If you haven’t been here yet, check it out!

We were in town visiting friends. Unique place with burgers and tacos. I had a taco. It was soggy and hard to eat. The fries with yuppy seasoning were great. We had five in our party and it was hard to find a table that would work.

I stopped by The Proudest Monkey in Bryan, TX for lunch. I tried a burger recommended by the waitress. Willie Norris burger offers juicy, flavorful ground chuck, sharp cheddar, smoky bacon, and traditional toppings, but the house Monkey Sauce—an aioli and black pepper blend—was a bit too heavy on the pepper, overpowering the other flavors at times. The Yuppy Style fries, tossed in olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, and more Monkey Sauce, had great potential but were overwhelmed by too much garlic, making them a bit too intense alongside the rich burger. Though packed with bold flavors, a lighter touch on the seasoning would have balanced the meal better. Staff was delightful and I would return and try something else from the menu.

Great place to eat. I usually come here and get the chicken fried streak or chicken fried chicken. It’s always delicious.The portions are generous with decent prices. You have plenty of sides to choose from. I love the fried okra! The service is always good . Highly recommend!

Really cool locals place to grab dinner and a sweet tea or beer. I had the fried shrimp plate with okra and fries. It was a lot of food and I was barely able to eat it all. Service was good. They brought the food out quickly and checked on us often. The restaurant is a bit dated but that adds to the appeal in my opinion.

Chicken Fried Steak is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. Service is very friendly, fast acting, and overall backed by the notorious welcoming southern charm. Highly recommended for family gatherings and work meals, you’ll walk out of this tavern fat and happier than ever before!

Updated 19 MAY 24: Had dinner with friends on the patio and experienced a consistent experience with different servers. This time I had their French Dip which was equal to any I've ever had, my wife had a basic burger. One of our table asked for a basic dog with select condiments and it was delivered promptly and with a smile! We eat outside w the dog and enjoy their American menu. Dogs, burgers, fries, onion rings are quite good. Beer selection is adequate. Haven't tried any fancier cocktails.

We chose to come here because of the 4.8 star rating on google and honestly, this should be a 5 STAR Burger Restaurant. From the food, to the service, to the friendly atmosphere, this place is AWESOME!!!! Sorry but it was too late for a burger pic! Family of 5 for under 80.00 is a steal!

Came in about a month ago and had the buffalo burger and tots, plus a beer. Burger was solid, but nothing I'd personally rave about (sauce overpowered the taste of the burger in my opinion). Tots were VERY good. Came back yesterday just because I knew they had a good beer selection and figured I might as well grab food, so I ordered the BBQ burger. Now let me tell you, this might be the best burger in town by a good margin! The flavors complimented each other and you could taste the meat and how well seasoned it was. Glad I gave the burgers a second chance because I am already wanting to come back and have another! Definitely recommend coming in and giving them a shot. Good cocktails, good beer selection, friendly service, and some damn good food.

came here to celebrate my dear friend and my chosen grandmother for her birthday! Food was phenomenal, our server, atwood, was so well educated in the menu and specials, he was very kind and a great server overall. will definitely be back for special occasions, brunch and to have that caesar salad again!

Christopher's is a lovely little place with an old world feel. The steaks were incredibly tender and had very flavorful sauces. Definitely one of the higher end restaurant experiences I've had.

First visit to Capri and it was great. The food and service were excellent, we’ll be back for sure. The pasta, cream sauce and bread were all perfectly light and tasty. We had the Cajun Tortellini and A Twisted Affair, washed it down with some wine, and topped it off with a fantastic cannoli.

I had a mixed experience here. The vibe and atmosphere were fantastic, perfect for a night out with friends. However, the tables felt uncomfortably high, which made dining a bit awkward. We ordered the ‘Twisted Affair’ pasta, but it was disappointingly watery and didn’t quite live up to expectations. With some tweaks to the seating and food, this place could be top-notch!

Went during an A&M game and had a quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend the cajun tortellini; just enough spice. Service was great.

The meal started with an amazing leek soup that was rich, creamy, and full of flavor—truly a perfect starter. If I could describe it poetically, it felt like a warm hug! Next up was the Bavarian sampler, which gave us a delightful variety of traditional German dishes, each one more delicious than the last. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making it a standout on the menu. Lastly, the bread pudding was to die for! It was so wonderfully textured and sweet that I dream of it even a week later. The restaurant has a cozy and authentic Bavarian atmosphere that adds to the overall charm. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable meal. If you're in the area and craving some authentic German cuisine, Bavarian Brauhaus is a must-visit! Next time I come out to visit my friend, I’m coming straight back!

Schnitzel is apparently their specialty. With a full menu page dedicated to schnitzels, they have many different style options, each with pork, chicken, or veal. Their hot (warm) German potato salad was also very good and nothing like American potato salad. Don't expect a fast meal, at least during the summer off-season. I would expect more waitstaff and faster service when Texas A&M is in session. Either way, I strongly recommend the food. And of course, don't forget the on-draft beer selection.

Good German comfort food and even better on Monday evenings when they have an all you can eat option. Nice variety of sauce options for schnitzel and imported German beers. Ambiance is also nice and reminiscent of a small country restaurant. Only complaint is that service can be slow at times during the busier parts of dinner service.

Hot Food - Cold Staff. Came here for Breakfast. Please note they do not open until 10:00 during the week. The Staff came and unlocked the door, but did not open the door to us. We felt a cold vibe from the Staff during the rest of our visit. Especially when the Server was sitting with other Staff at a table in the corner and wore her headphones for most of the time we were there. You grab a menu and order at the counter. If you'd like a refill on your coffee, take your cup up to the counter. Grab your creamer while you are there - there is none on the table. Grab a coffee stirrer at the condiment bar, there is no silverware at your table if you need a spoon for your coffee. I ordered the Cornmeal Pancakes and they were hot and delicious. My husband had the Morning After and said it was very good. We will be back, now that we know the food is good, just wish the Staff was more friendly. Great location, lots of food choices. They serve Beer, Wine and have a Mimosa Special.

3rd on Main offers friendly and attentive service from its waitresses. The hamburgers may look and smell appetizing, but unfortunately, they often come overcooked and dry. However, the French fries are consistently good. The kitchen is also impressively fast, with orders served promptly. One downside is the condition of the restrooms, which could use some improvement on cleanliness. Additionally, it would be helpful if they displayed a "Closed" sign or locked the door to avoid surprising customers who arrive after 9 PM expecting to dine.

Creative menu items. I had The Night Before and was extremely pleased. We will definitely visit again when in town.
