I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Turkey Melt with Fries and I also ordered the Smoked Turkey Plate with the baked beans and the bacon Mac and cheese. My brother order the brisket with Cole slaw and fries. The Sweet and Spicy Melt was soooooooo delicious and I will be ordering it again. The baked beans has brisket or some shredded meat added and it was good the Mac and cheese was delicious too. I liked the smoked turkey but I did not taste anything smoked about it just taste like deli meat but still good and it comes with tortillas for if you want to use it and put the meat in the tortilla and top it off with BBQ sauce. My brother enjoyed his brisket and fries but he said the slaw was to dry for his liking. I also tried the fries. The fries are yummy. The BBQ sauce are good. They have many to choose from. I ordered my food to go and it was quick to receive the food. I will post pics of some of my food but the pics does not justice because overall, great place, good customer service and I will definitely be back!
Excellent bbq. I had the Saturday special beef rib and after the first bite I wanted to call a realtor to sell my house and move closer to this establishment. The rub was perfectly balanced with amazingly reduction of the protein. The bark and ring were perfect. Homemade beans, slaw and potato salad added to perfection yet is not over powering to the palate. Local pops on tap are nice touch. Of course the tortillas are fried in brisket fat.
Went inside around 755p. Discovered that they were about to close at 8, and not 9 as Google specified. But the gentleman at the counter said that I could still place an order with no problem. I ordered the well-fed best for 2. While I was waiting, he offered cups of tea that were delicious. The decor is nice, I like the soda cap theme. The food was ready pretty quickly. He was graciously thanked as well as the kitchen staff. Now when I got the food opened and ate..OMG‼️ every bite of food was AMAZING and flavorful. The beans, the slaw, the Mac and the potato salad are to die for! If you have not eaten here you are definitely missing out like I was. I will absolutely return and eat (they even have literal doggy bags for pets and I thought that was awesome)

Overall experience was decent. Staff was friendly but never checked on us to see how we were doing or if we needed water topped off. I had to wave them down to ask for basics. The food was good overall. Kids enjoyed their meals. The Chile Colorado was lackluster and full of beans. Fridas Cocina has a much better burrito if Chile Colorado is your thing.
First timer. Wanted a quick bite of Mexican. The patio was quaint and quiet, but it was humid, so we ate inside. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entry. Guadeloupe was our waitress and she did not disappoint. She took our order and food was out very quickly. The chips are some of the best I've had from any Mexican cuisine restaurant hands down. I ordered the fajitas mixed and it came out piping hot and stayed that way until I'd had enough. Wasn't a fan of the burnt taste in the choriqueso but overall the food was pretty good for the first visit. I'd return again.
We moved to GA and we MISS THIS PLACE! We compare every Mexican restaurant to Casa Maria's, but none compare. We went weekly because we loved it so much and we always had fast, friendly service and great food for amazing prices! The fajitas for two were our favorite; delicious and flavorful - not dry like some I've tried, they come out sizzling, they're the cheapest we've ever found, and HUGE portions - we always had leftovers! Everything else we tried was phenomenal too - burritos, salsa/cheese dip, margs, etc. This place does get quite busy at times, but it is worth it and they move quickly!

I really enjoyed the fish, and Landon does a great job making everyone feel welcome and taken care of!
Old time Belleville favorite with a fresh decor and special vibe! Menu is unique, from-scratch creations and delicious. Recommend the fried curds as an appetizer. Friendly and accommodating staff. Well-concocted cocktails.
Visited on Halloween night, and it was everything I hoped for and more! Our server, Adrianna, was incredibly kind and gave us spot-on recommendations. We started with the honey Sriracha chicken wings, which were some of the best wings I’ve ever had. They’re made with a homemade dill pickle brine and dipped in their dill ranch—unreal flavor! For my main, I tried the Belleville Bangers (highly recommended in other reviews), paired with a honey crisp apple Brick River Cider. The dish was amazing, especially the mashed potatoes—easily the best in the area! A side of sauerkraut would be a perfect addition to this meal. My date had the Belleville Trash Chicken with a Belleville classic, Stag beer. The fries were to die for, fried perfectly in a style that’s hard to find. And as a Belleville native, I loved knowing the pickles were made in-house—they reminded me of my grandma’s recipe! The space is newly renovated but keeps an old-school charm, and the staff, including the owner, were super welcoming. Halloween decor was festive, and we even spotted Fred Flintstone and Mike Myers enjoying drinks at the bar. The location on the corner of historic Abend Street adds to the timeless feel, like you’re stepping back in time. They also have a dart board in the back and TouchTunes, which is great if you want to play your own music. I read fantastic things about their ribeye, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available because not enough people order it. I hope more people start asking for it so I can try it! Incredible food (and shockingly delicious for a dive bar), welcoming vibe, and a must-visit spot for anyone in Belleville. I'll be back soon to try the ribeye and pot roast (another crowd favorite).

*I RECOMMEND* The food is chef kiss 10/10. This time I ordered the sweet chilli & lemon pepper wings with a side of fries. Everything was so fresh to taste. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. I will definitely be back!
The place is pretty inside . The lady at the front was nice . The pancakes were good ! But the burger was extremely dried out . The fries didn’t have seasoning.. I had to add salt and pepper . It says no refund so I wasted my money on the burger .. the wings were just okay.
They had the best chicken tenders I have ever had in my entire life. The service was amazing, the staff really cares about the customer satisfaction and was super helpful. The smoothies were incredible and a great price!
Sip & Chew Express, LLC is a vibrant and innovative culinary establishment dedicated to providing a unique dining experience that celebrates the joy of food and beverages….
I was very torn on how to rate this place. Their wings are very good and unlike anything you've had before. The fries were also very good. My burger was average. Nothing craft/signature about it. It did have fresh ingredients on it, but the burger seemed like it came from frozen. For me, it needs something unique to it, and it just wasn't there. I'd like to see how their Philly cheesesteak is, next. We had a brown sugar boba, which was very cold, and a strawberry boba with popping boba. They were average. I would have preferred mine not made with crushed ice cause it is just too cold. I think they have a lot of potential but were a little disorganized when I was there. Menus seemed to be lost, boba tea had a separate menu that I wouldn't have known about if I hadn't seen someone drinking boba. They were doing some kind of counter repairs. It is a very small place, maybe it does mostly takeout orders. The staff was friendly. And we got there at 1:30, they close at 2 but our food came out right at 2 so they let us stay and eat.
My husband and I enjoyed a Friday lunch date at Sip and Chew Express. We arrived shortly after noon and I was disappointed to learn that breakfast is over at 11:30, was really looking forward to the French toast. Instead, I enjoyed the avocado BLT. It was delicious and very creamy (from just the right amount of avocado). My husband ordered their chicken wings, French fries, mango boba tea (they were out of the strawberry :/), and potato soup. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. She was happy to tell us a bit about the business and their three locations. She went on to tell us that they make everything they can from scratch as she and her husband (the chef) feel that they can put the most love into their food if it's made right there in the kitchen. She was eager to hear our feedback on the food as they desire to serve exactly what the customer is looking for. We will be back and I can't wait to try their breakfast!
My mom, grandmother, and I stopped by after a doctor's appointment for breakfast. It is a small, quaint place. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. Two of us had pancakes that were divine, and one of us had a meat lover's omelet that was superb. #breakfast #familytime #yummy

I really wanted to like this place but after dining here once, I definitely won't return and definitely would not recommend it. The interior was nice enough although very loud. The food was pretty mediocre - one of our entrees was very cold and had to be sent back, the rest was just...bland and forgettable. The service was incredibly slow and after waiting over 15 minutes for a check, we had to go to the bar since our server never returned. Even after that, we probably waited another 10 minutes to actually get it. It was somewhat busy but absolutely not busy enough to warrant that kind of wait. If you're looking for a decent meal with decent service, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. That was hands-down the worst service I've had at a restaurant in years. I'm only giving two stars because it was pretty clean.
My husband and I stopped in at Cured and Cultured for a late-in-the-day anniversary lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was empty (it was 2:30pm when we got there) and we had the whole place to ourselves. I really haven't heard people talk about Cured and Cultured, which is surprising because the food was INCREDIBLE. Every bite of each food item is flavor-packed, and not too rich at the same time. The husband ordered sweet Thai chili- and lemon pepper-seasoned chicken wings with a side of french fries (deep fried in peanut oil I think) and sipped on some Woodford Reserve. I enjoyed Leo's brisket sandwich (recommended to me by our very attentive server, Matt) with a side of bacon ranch pasta salad. The flavors complemented each other perfectly and the portion sizes were just right. The restaurant benefits from a full bar and a patio out back for warmer weather and live music. I was surprised to see a mini liquor store when we first walked in. I even questioned if we went to the right place because it doesn't even appear to be a restaurant. At the checkout counter is a deli where I believe customers can take home choice items. I'm excited to return during the warmer months to try more food on their menu and enjoy some music on the back patio. It was wonderful to have such a great dining experience on that side of Belleville. It's providing a much-needed boost to the area. After tip for two people- an entree, a side, and an alcoholic drink per person; we spent more than $70. I get inflation, but I do wish food this good was more accessible.
Korean ribs were very good. Fried mushrooms were tasty, but came on a big plate and there were like 8 little halves of a mushroom, very disappointing. My husband had the smoked turkey sandwich and it was so dry, he had to ask for bbq just to be able to eat it. The drinks were very tasty, but the food was disappointing. Will not return.

Eckert's food was delicious, fresh tasteful, hot, and ready for my stomach. The waitress was great the atmosphere was cool, and the setting was perfect. It's a little bit on the pricey side, but it's most definitely worth it. Fun Fact my company actually delivers to Eckert's.
This place is ok. I had the pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese as a side, and my wife had the fried chicken plate with mashed potatoes and green beans for her sides. The place just needs a little more "umph".
It's a good place to enjoy the weekend, the best part is definitely the pies, pastries and bread sold here. They are delicious! There is always live music, a pleasant place.

Directly on West Main, Fletchers is an upscale bar and restaurant. Not too upscale but definitely not a dive. Dark wood, beautiful leather or vinyl booth seats in red. Tables in the middle. Plenty of room to move. We were there at 7:30 on a Tuesday night and there was a full bar with several tables but no wait. Noise level was not too high from the bar. Tables and booths are provided. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was good. Music coming from bar and the typical clink of silver and glasses. We received our food quickly. Had pork rinds for appetizer and they literally sizzled for quite awhile. Two dips provided. Hot wing Sauce (which was excellent). Ranch sauce which was a very good ranch sauce. The hamburger was 1/2 pound which is more than I can eat. Grilled with fresh vegetables and a unique bun which was strong enough to hold up to a 1/2 pound burger. Steak fries were excellent as was the chicken sandwich. Both had tomato, lettuce, and onion and came with one side. Choices included steak fries, broccoli, soup, mashed potatoes, beets, zucchini, sweet potato fries and more. Parking lot was flat and paved. Little tight when full. Handicap spots near door. Restrooms were clean and handicap. Nice place if you’re in town. Wouldn’t drive hours to get there though
Hamburgers were very good. They received a past award for best hamburgers in St. Louis. The fries were good. Barbecue sauce was homemade and tasted good. Excellent service. The restaurant did appear to be clean. The waitress was pleasant and she provided refills with the soft drinks. We spent $15 to $20 per person. A little "hole in the wall" restaurant and hidden gem.
I usually go to the one in Swansea, but I wanted to try the other so I went there today and it was a really good experience. The parking lot is a little tight but overall loved it

Our waitress Elina/Elaine has to be the worst waitress I've encountered. Not pleasant, ignored us, didn't deliver everything with our food ordered, we asked for extra sour cream which she never brought. What's the point of asking again. The food made the highly negative experience much better. It was hot a.d tasty. Would gladly eat here again but would ask for a different waitress.
Sarah's daughter reviewing this time: This place is really good! Service was nice, servers struck up a small convo since it wasn't busy before taking orders, and the food is delicious! Unfortunately, I /did/ find a piece of plastic packaging in my salad, but overall, it was great! Told our server about the plastic, and she took the salad off the bill entirely.
I came in and ordered breakfast for my mom yesterday not my first visit the young lady took my order was totally $15.37 which she didn't offer no receipt. The next morning my statement was suggested with a tip added without my signature on the receipt or my approval to 17.60. I returned the next day after speak with the manager explain to her what happened she returned my money with no apology no sympathy or anything like that more like with a attitude. Which is mind-blowing that your employee committed fraud I will never visit this place again.

Authentic Chicago Flavors! I really love their Chicago Dog and Italian Beef. Never disappoints! This place is worth going out of your way for- I mean, their fresh cut fries alone are worth it! Highly recommended.
The place looked great. Everything was clean and bright. The menu is full of things unique to this place for the area. The crew here was nice, helpful and fun. Loved it!
Great Food! Can't get a better burger in town! Everyone is always friendly and smiling! I love there ice-cream, they have all kids of flavors! The gyros, wings and philly sandwich are excellent! I have never gotten bad food there! It's always a 5 star restaurant to me!

I'm sure they are good people and all. But they reject veterans. The owner made it a spectacle to kick dad out for being navy. I'd hope their food is better than manners. It's an old people place.
First time eating fried chicken. Too bad they only have this on Sunday. Best fried chicken I've had in a loooong time.
Great burgers. Daily specials are the bomb. Clean dining area.

We eat at the Corner often and the food and service are always great! Never had a bad meal here. Our favorites are the Zinger wings, Buffalo Chicken Baked Potato, Cod special on Friday, and of course the burgers. Cassandra and the staff do a great job. Highly recommend the Corner to everyone!
Nice bar and restaurant. They have an area set up for take out orders. I did order the pork rinds . They were good and had a little heat on the seasoning they put on them . The wings were good . Wednesdays they are on special for a buck a piece. Good place to grab a bite to eat or just a couple beers
Google asked for an update, how does "ditto" sound? They were slammed tonight (wings night), but after a small wait, we had Emily take care of us. We enjoyed the food and the busy bar atmosphere. Friendly wait staff and customers. Previously: Really pleasantly surprised on a Wednesday night. Went because of recommendations. Had the sampler, chicken strips, ravioli, mozzarella sticks and lots of fried pickles. Delivered with tomato and ranch dipping sauce. We ordered extra blue cheese and honey mustard dipping sauces for $.50 each. That sampler was really good, and a great price. Chicken strips were lightly breaded and meaty-very nice. We had the BLT and Philly cheesesteak, both delicious. Onion rings and tater tots for sides, both very good. Ally our server was very nice and very attentive. We were told the burgers are very good and most popular. We will be back for those and more.

Best smash burger, I suggest the drunken smash.. atmosphere is a fun eclectic bar. Waitresses amazing Love Love Love Amanda and love the owner Kim..
Incredibly enjoyable small town bar. Room for maybe 30 to 40 people comfortably. Absolutely great prices, good menu, friendly workers. Only downside I can think of is that there is no beer on tap and most of their bottle selection focuses on IPAs.
Everything you want in a bar...ice cold drinks, delicious food, beautiful bartenders, great service, plenty of seating, event room that easily seats 50 people, clean bathrooms, covered patio outdoor smoking area and nice views. Pool table, gaming machines, large TV's, music, and always a good crowd. This place is awesome!

Decided to give this spot a try. Was not disappointed at all. The location is very nice, very big inside. It was a somewhat different style for me. You walk up to the counter and place your order. After your order is completed, you're giving a number. Didn't have to wait to long for my food at all. Prices were very reasonable. Their pizzas looked delicious. Will be back on Tuesdays to check out the specials on pizza. I ended up ordering a burger and fries. Was under 7 dollars. The good was good. The burger had seasoning and flavor! Will definitely stop back in again and bring the whole family. Update came back with the family. Tried quite a few more things on the menu. I'm not a big fan of the sweet potato fries, just a bit soggy for my liking. The onion rings were very delicious and a favorite for sure. Aldo tried the fried chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese. Was tender and juicy and fried to perfection. The chicken quesadila wasn't that good. The chicken was somewhat bland. The mozzarella sticks were on point. The boneless chicken wings were a big hit when paired with ranch. However, the star of this get-together was the pizza. It's absolutely perfect. Thin crust deliciousesness. Tuesdays are a great deal for 8 bucks. New to the area what find, a diamond in the rough.
They have really good food, and their prices are not bad. We came on a Sunday night. We did not know it was pizza night. On Sunday and Tuesday you can order a large pizza (16 inch) with any toppings...we got supreme with every topping but green peppers. Their chef salad was very good also, so was the cheeseburger, the onion rings, and the mushrooms. We will definitely be going back!!
Cutter's is the place to go for cheap food and drinks. The service runs similarly to a fish fry- order at the counter, take your ticket, and listen for your number. While waiting for some of the lowest priced food in town, you can make your way to the bar- which has one of the largest wooden bar backs I've ever seen! It's massive. The food isn't special, but it's so cheap and does the job. It's a good place to go when you just need to eat and are looking to enjoy drinks with friends, as they serve beer by the bucket.

A friend was performing at Bennie’s pizza pub and invited us…it’s always an easy ask when pizza is involved. Good atmosphere and practical but pizza was made from frozen dough the toppings, excellent and if not for the OK crust would have been a great pizza vs good. Staff was fine but appeared tired and not engaging with people. It’s a good place and good pizza, just still some room to grow.
Even if you are afraid of jalapeños... try the Hawaiian Hawg Pizza! Also, the salads are huge and DELICIOUS! I absolutely love that they serve food LATE, LATE, like 1:45 am late! They carry Fitz's soda, too! They are known for great pizza, but they also usually have good live music and are great supporters of the community. ❤️ I love how invested they are in sponsoring local events and promoting Main Street.
Bennie's Pizza Pub is a fun place to get a tasty bite. Their unique pizza flavors make them stand out. I've had the Pepperoni, Hawaiian Hog, Meat Lover's, Supreme, Dill Pickle, and Crab Rangoon slices. Slices are cut to 1/4 of a pizza- which is fun, filling, and affordable. When we go, my husband asks for our slices to be cut into thirds and then we share with the group. It's a good way to get a sampling of what they offer. I don't think the pizza's flavor is outstanding (though it is still definitely good), but they compensate with the uniqueness of what they offer. I think the thickness of the crust hampers the flavor of the pizza itself. Bennie's also hosts live music and has a great drink selection (including seasonal cocktails) at the bar.

I came here for lunch with my girlfriends. The place was great. The food was really good and the service was pretty fast. We ate outside , the weather was good and the scenery was cute. I got the fish tacos. It was fantastic. Will definitely come back if I am back in town.
We visited The Boathouse tonight for dinner. My daughter and I both enjoyed our meals! The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Bathrooms tidy and clean. Our meals came at the perfect time. The menu is expansive. Lots of choices to choose from, as you can see from the pictures. Options to share meals too. Our server MacKenzie was so personable and friendly, we loved her! It was my birthday, so we received $15 off my entrée, which was so cool! We were so full when we were done, there was no way we could have dessert! I imagine in the summer months this restaurant is rocking, with the patio by the harbor. A real draw for sure. *My only rec would be that the parking area in front of the restaurant has some garbage kicking around by an old sign. I took a picture for reference. It doesn't give a good impression, walking in.
We came here on a Thursday night around 6pm and the restaurant was full. They have a spacious dine-in area and patio. We sat on the patio to enjoy the view and of course you don’t have that chance all year long. The tables inside were almost full and it was loud; everyone was enjoying a nice meal and the company. The staff are nice and friendly. We ordered “Shrimp Taco”, “Seafood Linguini with Alfredo Sauce”, “Battered Haddock”, “Salmon New Orleans” and “Sautéed Shrimp”. Our food came with sides our choice; grilled vegetables, fries, green salad and mashed potato. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Absolute best pool tables in town!! Had a super fresh taco salad and an extremely attentive waitress... this isn't just the college bar of the past! We slide over a few times a week and always leave impressed with full bellies.
The food was ok. I had a buffalo burger and it was decent. The fries were awful. And my wife had the same. She thought the same. Our friend had a regular burger and couldn't finish it as it was way overcooked and super dry. So for almost seventy dollars including a tip.. Are you waiting....almost 70$. Not worth it at all. The place is clean and the servers are excellent but their prices are crazy. 13$ for a pint of rickerds red and 9$ for a Smirnoff ice. Absolutely crazy. And when the band came on the sound was awful. I really doubt the sound engineer had any kind of training. He had no clue. Everyone was commenting on how bad the sound was. So not really impressed with this place. Get a real sound man and improve on your prices.
The place is beautiful! Immaculately clean. The food and the service leave something to be desired. The $10 steak deal is a small THIN piece of meat... About 1/4 the size of the advertisement photo. Also, NO SIDE with it. That's extra. 7 onion rings are $7. The waitress while relatively efficient was inattentive and could have been much friendlier. She was attentive to those sitting at the bar. Suggesting better service and more reasonable prices & bigger servings. Again, the place looks fantastic!

Great food and amazing service from Crystal! The best duck wings (maybe wings period) I have ever eaten!!!!! The brie is also spectacular and the pear dessert is a lovely finish. Well worth a trip downtown.
My wife and I made a reservation for dinner Friday night to ensure we got a spot. When we arrived we were surprised to find it was not busy and we had the pick of outdoor patio seats. We enjoyed a glass of wine to the music of a solo guitarist and tried a couple of appetizers. Both the shrimp and Burrata Bread were really good. But the main dishes were amazing. I had the Chicken Polenta which was cooked Sous Vide and finished perfectly with a crispy skin and a hard set Polenta that matched perfectly. The Caponata was a fresh version of what we found recently touring Sicily. My wife raved about the Cauliflower Mole and trying it I was really impressed with the Black Bean Mole sauce - it was delicious! It has been a while since we were at Capers, but we will be back to enjoy these delicious menu items right in the downtown core.
My wife and I had such a great experience last weekend with friends that we came this Friday for date night. It was amazing both times, and we would highly recommend it. They also had live music, and the atmosphere was amazing. I'd call and make a reservation . Give them a try !!!!!

This is a welcoming, family-friendly restaurant with English-speaking service and charming decor. We were one adult and two small children and found that one appetizer and two main dishes were more than enough for a satisfying meal. Appetizer: - Lobster roll Main Dishes: - Brown butter gnocchi - Goat risotto My girls shared the lobster roll and the tasty gnocchi, which was topped with petals that made their eyes sparkle. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the risotto as much. Overall, it was a great experience, and I recommend this restaurant to any family.
We dined at this restaurant last month. We had a long drive home but really wanted to slow down a bit and enjoy a nice meal. The Lark in Belleville (on Front Street) was perfect. They seated us at a 2 person table and made us feel very welcome. We chose the Table D'Hote ($55/person). For starters, I had the salmon cakes that were dilly...just the way I love them! My eating companion had the insalata caprese that was presented beautifully and delicious! The two mains were brown butter gnocchi and beef cheeks pappardelle. Both were so flavourful! We shared a delightful dessert, ricotta cake (aka Pandoro Della Florentine). It was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant. I read somewhere that they are known for their cocktails; however, we did not drink any alcohol as we had a long drive home. Take some extra time and check this place out.
If I could give 6 stars I would. This is the best Italian food I've ever had at any price point (and the Lark's is more than fair). I had the burrata, carpaccio, gnocchi, pappardelle, short rib, chocolate buddino, and Pandora Della Florentine. Everything was excellent and every ingredient had a purpose. I can't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic spot for a upscale dining experience. Staff was fantastic and treated my kids like adults and went above and beyond to make them happy with their experience. The atmosphere was everything you would expect from a fair price Italian eatery. The food was delish, the desert was even better. The portions of each meal were more than enough for each family member. The patio was experience was transcending.
Nicely varied menu, excellent flavours. I had the arugula salad and veal with eggplant and penne. The half litre of wine brought the total to just under $80 which seems reasonable considering the excellent meal. The setting is dated and strangely lit with rope lights however our group all enjoyed the experience enough to plan a return visit.
Amazing Italian food. Decent craft beer on tap. Service is really good. The patio is small but nice. The food was all great - some of the best lasagna we've had. The lamb was absolutely perfect.
