Best Restaurants Open for Newyears Eve this year in Ashcroft – 2024

I recently stopped at the Husky gas station in Ashcroft for a quick fill-up, but was met with an unexpected and inconvenient situation. Despite the station’s usual reliability, I was disappointed to find that they had run out of gasoline. The attendant, some what polite, informed me that the system was down and, as a result, was unable to process my refund or allow me to fill up my tank. I spent over 20 minutes waiting, hoping the issue would be resolved promptly, but to no avail. The attendant insisted that no transactions could be made until the system was operational again. While I understand the importance of following protocol for system errors, the lack of a timely solution and the inability to access my funds left me feeling frustrated. In the end, I left the station without gas and without my money being returned. This experience has certainly affected my view of this Husky location, and I hope they implement better contingency plans for such situations in the future to improve customer satisfaction.

I’ve been going here for sushi for years. It seems now that every time I get it from the ok-stop, it gets worse. Today I found hair in my California rolls. the avocado was brown and about to turn black in the crazy rolls and it seems they put less sauce on top every time. It used to be so fresh and so tasteful. I can say I will not be coming back here anymore.

Was surprised to see a restaurant of this quality in Ashcroft. Very underrated Huge portion size and a good price in today's economy. Could be a bit cleaner Should also have advertising as you can't really tell it's a sushi restaurant from the outside. Need a sign on the freeway and the customers will pour in.

Ash and noor are the best most helpful and handsome employees I've ever met. They take such good care of the store, restaurant, and customers you would think it was their store.

Awesome that they have a KFC express Got crunch burgers , fries and gravy and ate in the park . Very good .

Take-out only, not a dine-in place. Seemed to be run by a bunch of very friendly young guys. Yes, they asked me to leave a review, but they're working hard, the food was hot and fresh, and they try to have fun with you...so I'm happy to say it's a great experience!

Same as any other Tim Hortons you will visit. The espresso machine and ice cap machine were down but they thought quick and offered me an iced coffee that was just as good as the ice cap. Drive thru was closed at the time of visit

The people there were extremely rude. They didn't even acknowledge, I was even there. I had trouble placing my order. Was looking for a place for dinner on my way into Vancouver and this place popped up in Ashcroft. It's just a couple minutes into town which is quite scenic. The restaurant is very very quirky small town feel with a large outdoor patio. Got the Grand Central Burger, and whatever else you can say about this place, this guy knows how to make a burger. The handmade patties literally melted in my mouth without needing to cook it medium. Definitely one of the better burgers I've had, so you won't regret going at all. The owner is a little odd but very friendly. Will definitely share some interesting opinions with you though if you let him engage in small talk.

We were attracted to the restaurant when we observed tables with chairs on a pseudo patio in front. We wanted to have a beer with our meal however we couldn't sit on the deck as it wasn't licensed until later on in the month (don't we all love gov't liquor controls). My traveling companion had the special and said it was all right, I had the pizza which had the right amount of ingredients on top however I found the base quite starchy.

I just ordered take-out so I can't comment much on atmosphere but the food what great. I ordered the Ashcroft burger, fries, and a salad that was on special, (spinach,goat cheese, and beet). Kind staff and delicious food!

We were passing through Ashcroft this week. Our friends, who live in Ashcroft, suggested that we meet at the UniTea Cafe. The quesadilla was really good. The Greek Salad was the best I have ever had. Our friends said that this spot is a favourite among locals for the great food and entertainment.

We stopped into this diner as we passed by on a day trip, just for dessert. Old style milkshake and cake and ice cream. Great feel to this place and great treats.

We stopped for lunch at a small diner in the Thompson Country region. The restaurant was empty so we could place our orders immediately. We planned on eating outdoors and found some benches in the shade of trees. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to bring plates outdoors, so we had to ask for takexcellentprisingly, the food quality was very good. The chef even came out of the kitchen to talk to us, and he was very nice. The picture doesn't do justice to the quality of the food, but we had to pack it as takeout. The only thing we didn't like was that we were told the restaurant would sell ice and their bags would be much bigger than the ones in the supermarket, costing $4 each. We decided to give the restaurant additional business and returned to purchase ice. However, in the 30 minutes which had passed, the price had changed to $6, and the bags were smaller than the regular bags sold at every grocery store and gas station. Cheers!

Me and my mom went here for a burger. We ordered and were seated in less than a minute, and the food was amazing. Sam was so kind, and it was reasonably priced too. I wish Sam good luck on his retirement, and I really enjoyed eating there.

Delightful Gem on a side street in town! Friendly service. Fresh food. Fantastic baked goods. Really cozy atmosphere with a few bar stools at the window for sitting. The rest of the space is packed with goodies and gifts. I really and truly wanted to order one of everything! It is busy busy busy though so if you want certain items you may have to get there earlier in the day! I will definitely return when I am passing through town again!

Decent bakery with good coffee. It may be useful to put a sign for no smoking by the tables outside the bakery. We didn't sit to eat because some ignorant self centered dude was enjoying his fag with his coffee. Less than a foot from the main door, isn't it against the rules anyway. I guess he felt deserving.

Cute little bakery in the small town of Ashcroft, BC. Busy place, friendly service. We had some really huge and excellent cinnamon buns and yummy nanimo bars, as well as a few other small treats. It exceeded our expectations, we will definitely return when we are in the area!

What a cool place, was my first time and it was busy! Don’t go on a long weekend Monday but staff are very helpful, they have amazing prices. Check their website before going so you can know what’s what when there. Super kid friendly. They sell ice cream, but no other food or drinks offered on site (besides pops). So if you’re driving in pack or buy a lunch. They have benches outside.
