The worst, most disappointing, disgusting thanks giving dinner I've ever eaten . How they could serve this to people is beyond me . The turkey was fatty and did not resemble turkey at all . The mashed potatoes were both lumpy and runny. The only edible part of the whole dinner was the salads . Huge disappointment . You would get a better meal at a soup kitchen .

The food is absolutely amazing. We got the bruschetta to start then we each got a burger. I only wish the golf course wasn't torn apart and down sized otherwise we would have stayed for a game. The course is about half the size and the green fees are the same. It's really unfortunate.... food was on point tho will definitely go back again.

We went for Mother's Day brunch and it was extremely good. They were quick to seat our party of 13 and kept the coffee and drinks coming. It was a great selection of food and a nice desert table. I would highly recommend them for a dinner or lunch

Very nice little diner. Only serves breakfast and lunch, very reasonable prices and fantastic coffee. Lovely service as well, though I'm not the biggest fan of the atmosphere of the place. Their soup is amazing and felt very homey and like a grandma's cooking.

This place was a wonderful discovery. I do a lot of traveling for work, so I see a lot of restaurant meals. This was like sitting down at my grandma's family table for a healthy serving of lovingly prepared food. Wonderful owners. I'll definitely be back.

Pv Blvd is a quaint coffee shop and bakery in downtown Armstrong. I had the breakfast wrap and couldn't resist the wildberry gallette - so delicious. I will stop here again.

We made a stop here on the way to Clearwater. Great selection of pastries. The chocolate brownie is to die for. Great customer service with a smile.

Want to ascend to another flavour dimension. Order the quiche. Blew my taste buds off of my tongue and transcended them to flavourtopia. Whoever made the quiche ensured there was the secret ingredient added in - hint - first letter L last letter e. Don’t thank me for enjoying the quiche, thank the chef. Enjoy ! Oh and well priced cause I’m frugal like that.

Hands down best pizza in Armstrong. Staff is lovely and the pizza is always fresh! The wings are a must try! Highly recommend the cheesy bread as well! Thanks Sam

Fresh made pizza, exceptionally made with fresh dough. Great spot for a slice or entire pie! And they also have vintage arcade games!!!!

Took a very large order from me on short notice. Pizza was excellent, and they were kind enough to help load it into my car. Immensely satisfied.

This is the second time I have been here for breakfast. The waitress was a lot friendlier this time around. Engaged in conversation and was a treat to deal with. Last time I was there there were a lot more customers so I am assuming that she may have been overwhelmed. There were only two tables being served for the visit. It was pleasing experience this time.

It was my first time eating here. We came here for the $7 breakfast meal. I was expecting small portions, but it was a legitimate breakfast as toast, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns are served on a full plate. My friends were all happy with their meal. I just wanted a big serving of hashbrowns. Everyone only had to pay $7 excluding tax and tip. This was with full table service too. The bathrooms were clean and the venue played country and hip hop music. If you're not in the mood to cook, but eager for top value for money, you need to come to this pub. Please note there is no physical menu for breakfast.

This place is a hidden gem!! The service was top notch, the food was amazing! Came for the meat draw & will definitely be back here for the entertainment on the weekend.

Log Barn was a recommended stop for us on our way to Kelowna. And we were so glad we stopped. What a brilliant, interesting place to stop by. We loved to feed the goats and wander around all of the fascinating statues and bits and bobs. The shop was also lovely with freshly baked pies and ice cream available. Definitely a must to visit when passing!

You gotta see it to believe it. There is such an eclectic mixture of animal and dinosaur statues outside that it boggles the mind. There is a petting zoo with a crazy 30 foot high goat walk. My wife and I come here for the butter tarts, Mennonite sausage and the smoked Gouda. Also the homemade salsa is delicious. There are piles of nicnac gift items. There is an ice cream stand here also. There is plenty of parking. Lots of picnic tables. There are public restrooms available also. My wife and I enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back.

The Log Barn 1912, we visited this place on our friend’s recommendation.There were loads of decorations, very creative and well maintained place. It was our first time visiting, and we had a lot of fun. We saw goats, llamas, bunnies, and horses, and they have a shop filled with cute stuff and souvenirs. The food was delicious, especially the pierogies.

Oh wow! Came to a small town BC looking for authentic and homemade breakfast. And what a catch. This place is full of authenticity and homemade dishes. Fantastic food, amazing staff!

My family and I went for a drive today, and ended up in Armstrong. We passed up on the fast food options and for the first time in a very long time, we went and sat down as a family in Country Manor Kitchen. My kids loved the antique oil lamps, woven reed picnic baskets and the cabinet full of pies and baked goods! The restaurant is clean, fresh, and in a fantastic spot on the main drag. We were in on a Saturday, and the place was busy, but they were able to find a table for my crew without a problem, and we were served by the very friendly waitstaff. We ordered from a rather large menu (hard to make a choice, as there were so many options for breakfast and lunch!), and the server suggested the clubhouse to my wife. Excellent choice, and full of real, roasted turkey.We were served before the kids got antsy, and each of us enjoyed our meal. I had the steak and eggs breakfast, which was incredible, but the highlight for me was watching my youngest giggle her way through her pancakes shaped like a teddy bear. A great outing, and a really lovely meal.

The burgers we ordered excellent. We also ordered 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio each as the glasses were quite small. We were charged for four x 9oz of wine = 36 ozs which is 1.38 bottles of wine. The glasses held barely 5ozs of wine and we felt totally ripped off when we returned home and looked at the bill. It is unfortunate that this happened and possibly the server would not have charged this amount if we had not been from out of the area. UPDATE After the owner read my review, they reached out to discuss my concerns and was not aware of how many ozs were in one of their glasses. They are in the process of updating their procedures for serving wine and were kind enough to refund the amount paid for wine from my bill. It appears it was an innocent mistake and the owner did the right thing to rectify the situation, well done and I will definitely return to Country Manor Kitchen whenever I am visiting Armstrong.

This was my first time dining in at Haru. I showed up at 3pm and hadn't eaten breakfast yet. I splurged as I ordered asparagus tempura, yam tempura rolls, veggie yakisoba, and nestea. After tax and a 20 percent tip I paid $44. This meal was absolutely delicious. I am getting hungry just from writing this. The rolls are huge. The asparagus tempura was crunchy. The veggie yakisoba had that perfect flavour. I highly recommend their menu if you come here. They know what they are doing.

Phoned in and ordered several items off their menu. Pizzas, donair, onion rings, and the cinnamon bites. We were quoted 30 minutes. When we arrived to pick up the order, we had to wait another 20 minutes. When we got home, they had given us chicken wings instead of onion rings. The spicy beef donair was disgusting. The pita bread was dry, and so was the meat, which tye had lathered in sauce. There were barely any veggies or peppers in it. The spicy tropical chicken had no flavour at all, and the Hawaiian pizza had not much ham or pineapple, and there were no toppings at all for large areas around the crust. The tomato sauce they use has some sort of weird flavour to it, and we ended up not eating most of it. Hoping to at least finish off with a nice dessert, the cinnamon bites were like eating crackers. They were so dry and overdone that they crumbled into powder when you bit them. Another item that went in the garbage. We phoned to complain about the onion ring mistake and the terrible dessert, and the lady told us we had made the mistake, and that the cinnamon bites could not have been dry. In the end we just chalked it up to an overall bad experience, one that we will not try again, not with other much better choices in town.

So I had a hankering for a donair. Sure enough I found a donair place. So I get this donair and it's like a footlong. This thing is amazing, so full of sauce so delicious and I'm eating it in my car. It's getting all over my shirt but I don't care because it's just so delicious. Now when you eat a donair you rip off the top of the foil and leave the foil on the bottom. Well the foil on the bottom ended up losing some structural integrity and more juices started flowing. Halifax sauce was everywhere. I had to step out of my car, so now I am standing on the side of the road eating this donair with juices flowing down my beard. I was quite the sight but I had to keep going. This was the best donair I've had in a long time. 10/10 I'll be back.

Basic Chinese foods. The food was very bland and nothing special. They had Only one tiny menu given at lunch time and only the basic on there. Not toddler or kids friendly they don’t have a kids menu so of course they won’t have kids juices either and they didn’t . Their sweet n sour sauce tasted extremely weird. If you want to save a few extra bucks instead of going to a nice Chinese place then this is the place to go!

Very happy with the service and quality of the food. Special combos are a big size. We got food just before closing and it still was hot and tasted fresh, not dried up. Only took 10 min! Will be coming back!

Cool neighborhood restaurant with a sailing ship theme. Food was excelent and although not busy on our visit the locals we dined with were surprised it wasn't busier.

Service was great! She was on the ball with refilling our drinks. The burgers were delicious. I wouldn't get the sweet potato fries again, they were salty and the sauce they have to go with it on the side was not to my taste. The fish tacos were alright and the fish was a little under cooked.

I've tried every pizza place from Vernon to Enderby and I've got to say the fresh slice in Armstrong has got everybody beat. They're unlimited topping pizzas are to die for. I've been ordering here for the past year and a half and nothing but good pizzas from them triple thumbs up

I don't know, I do not recommend the Mediterranean, the XL seemed sparce on cheese and toppings. More like toppings for a medium with more crust. I will try other local options next time.

Ordered these pizzas today for mom and sister and both have rave reviews on taste and quality. The chicken bbq with cauliflower crust was amazing and the loaded multi topping pizza with the garlic cream sauce on a thin crust equally good. So nice to have a local place available to order from. Was intrigued by the home made food sign. Not even close. I make my own meals from scratch all the time, including lots of home made soups, with real ingredients so know the difference. Asked for the vegetarian borscht and when inquiring about ingredients in theirs the lady acted put off (really?) so just took it. First of all borscht is beet soup, no beets. Tasted like a bad vegetable soup. Ingredients are sub par with no life to them as if they had been sitting around for a long time or very low grade. I doctored it up to try and resucitate the off taste and it was barely edible. And at $8 for a small container that’s ridiculous. Tired of business trappings with labels that don’t line up with what they are selling. Wouldn’t dare try anything else here. Just sub par frozen food and I’ve had better from the grocery store. Very disappointing.

Lucille and her team has done such an incredible job bringing homestyle cooking to the masses. The food is so tasty and there is always something different to choose from. What I like is the fact that the food comes packaged in sizes ranging from small individual for the light eater to family sized. The pot pies are my favourite to bring home to the family after a long day at work. Congratulations Lucille! You have hit the mark.

My husband and I are so incredibly thankful to have found Heritage Kitchen, it saves us so much time and tastes absolutely amazing! It gives us peace of mind knowing that we can have such wonderfully delicious meals made with so much love. Some of our favorites are the baked potato soup, Swedish meatballs, mexi-fiesta bake, spaghetti & meatballs, and the chicken fettuccini alfredo. Everyone there is so kind and patient!

My review is for Askews Bakery. Both my boyfriend and I have Birthdays in May, at the start of the month we ordered the Odessa cake for his which was super delicious and he thoroughly enjoyed it! My birthday was just this past weekend and I ordered the Cream Cheese cake. The cake was amazing, decorated beautifully and tasted so good! Both cakes were fantastic. Totally worth the money if you want something a little nicer than any other grocery store bakery cake. Quality and price is far superior than other places.

The Chicken and Mojo's from the Deli i bought today were barely crispy, and entirely flavourless. it was a terrible waste of money. Buyer Beware.

It's unfortunate that I can only give 2 stars because I like supporting local, but the items are waaaay overpriced....especially for the main grocery store in town where many people have no choice but to shop. That, and the staff are seemingly untrained and unknowledgeable about promotions that the store is offering AT THE TILL. The meat is top quality, that's about it.

I come here weekly and can’t rave enough about this place. I was shocked that this place doesn’t have a 5 start review rate. I went through and read the negative comments and I do not agree with any of them! Aside from having delicious food options and an always changing drink menu, this place is really a hub for our community. It’s hard to be a small business in a small town, especially given the challenges in our economy. The Wild Oak goes out of their way to support other local businesses and farms by showcasing their products and incorporating seasonal produce into their menu. I have had many encouraging early morning chats with the staff. They are hard working. The times when it was busy and I had to wait a little longer for my food, it made me happy that others love this place and are supporting local! Well done Wild Oak Team!!

I was just in your shop for the first time and had the balsamic chicken salad and iced coffee. I just want to let you know they were both SO GOOD and satisfying. The flavours of the salad were perfection and the coffee was great, better than Starbucks. I will be back ✨

Ordered Blizzards for my family as a desert after dinner. as i normally do. And absolutely every time the staff trys to hand out the blizzards without lids or a tray to hold them, as if one single person in a car is going to consume 4 blizzards at once, or balance them somewhere while they rapidly melt and make a mess. But that aside, it was this time spurred me onto writing a review as the blizzards i ordered were not even mixed. Half way down it was just regular softserve. There needs to be someone there for quality control during the evening shift, its bad.

Fries were fresh & hot. Crispy chicken was crispy & hot. Staff were helpful & friendly. An excellent DQ experience even without any cool treat!

I recently visited Dairy Queen and was very disappointed with the service. Despite there being few customers in line, it took an unusually long time for my order to be taken and fulfilled. The staff seemed disorganized and unmotivated, which resulted in a lack of communication and a delay in getting my food. When my order finally arrived, it was incorrect and had to be sent back for correction. The staff didn’t offer an apology or show any concern about the inconvenience. Overall, the experience was frustrating and left me questioning whether I’d return. It’s unfortunate, as Dairy Queen usually has a good reputation for service and quality.

The top was burnt, the filling you could hardly find. The pizza was beef and mushroom and by the time we got at home, it was very cold. I understand driving 20 minutes with pizza. I expect it to be cool but not cold. I would like to try again, but unfortunately like most of us we don’t get to go out. So I think it’s going to be a hard pass.

Had to stop in Armstrong because of a broken windshield. Decided not to stick around the business and went site seeing. Came across this pizza place and thought why not. Came in and it was clean and not very busy at all . But I could see a man in the kitchen area, he was in the process of making a pizza. After he wash his hands he came up and asked us if we knew what we wanted in a pleasant manner. I asked about the sombrero pizza if the beef had any onions and he replied no. We placed our order of a sombrero pizza told 30 min. We decided to go for a walk, And came back in 20 min and it was done

Great pizza. Not too much sauce. Lots of cheese. Love the crunchy crust. Not thin. Not thick. Attention cold pizza lovers, this is your pie! Walked in, ordered a pizza around 430pm, had it by 445. Speedy.

Pleasantly surprised by this gem in Armstrong. A perfectly designed menu. The perfect size to concentrate on quality and creativity. Service was casual and absolutely outstanding. My wife had an espresso martini. Both delicious. I had the birria tacos AMAZING. So much flavour. Blown away by the quality and the price. Elevated food for all, in a lovely casual historic setting. We lucked out getting a table. Do make a reservation. Especially in the cooler months. They lose their outdoor seating. Well done the Clove. I'll be back.

Came to okanagan like 4-5 times, this is probably one of the best meal I’ve ever had, just straight up wholesome, real cooking. Had the fried chicken burger omg it was perfect! How do they make chicken breast so tender and juicy? Their soup is sooo wholesome and yummy! Not at all too salty, just yum. My gf had cheese melt, well I don’t need to describe it, you know it’s that good. The owners serves us directly, super friendly young couple who is passionate about their food and restaurant! We literally drove all the way from Oliver our Airbnb for this place, 100% worth it!! Will come again! Ohhh the stuffed meatballs definitely hit the spot! Forgot to mention the place is cute inside!! Damnnn! How perfect can this place be?

A cozy family stop. You should have no issue finding a nice meal from their varied menu. Our group of 8 all enjoyed appetizers, drinks including a selection of cocktails, mocktails and dinner. Dishes tried were garlic prawns, ceasar salad, fish n chips, jambalaya, clove curry, stuffed meatballs (a big hit) , spinach dip, bruschetta. A nice stop and worth the drive for a nice dinner. We came from vernon and will be back again.
