We absolutely loved dining at Vic’s! We didn’t have a reservation and were quoted a 20 minute wait, but were seated almost immediately! Collin was our server and he took my fiancé’s allergy to dairy very seriously - ensuring everything would be made clean pots and pans. All of the food we had was absolutely outstanding, we will definitely be back in the future!
I’m so glad we tried this place. It was delicious! It was a little pricey but well worth it. My husband had the crab cakes and I had the scallops… both were absolutely wonderful! The service was also impeccable. The only reason I didn’t give it four stars was that we sat outside and the view was of the town, not of the river. They had no seating outside by the river. You could sit inside and see it but it was too cold inside for me.
This gem was near our hotel so we tried it out and I’m glad we did. The server was one of the best I’ve ever had and that’s high praise as I was a server/bartender for the better part of two decades. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t miss a single detail. Our family was thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding. I got a catfish poboy and I was tender and flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was also gorgeous. This will be my first stop the next time I go to Savannah.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Food is a spin on classic dishes that knock it out of the park. We had the double wide dog, the sloppy Joe, patty melt and the shrimp and grits tacos. All were excellent. Everything except the tacos came with waffle fries and a lot of them. They were good but could have spent more time in the fryer. One of the few places that serve Natural Light too! Service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable for a touristy area. You should definitely make this a stop on your Savannah visit.
Absolutely love this place!! We stopped here for lunch while exploring downtown historic Savannah and it was excellent! We got the caprese sandwich and chicken biscuit. The waffle fries were super tasty!! The food is reasonably priced and the restaurant has a great atmosphere! Highly recommend!
We had a few locals recommend this place so we checked it out :). Service was great and as expected. This is a casual spot, great to unwind, have a drink and have some comfort food if that's what you're looking for. What to order: Appetizer: The cheese steak egg rolls were so good we came back just for another order the next day. I also got a to go order for my front desk concierge who recommended them! Must try. We also had the nachos on our second visit - the nachos have pieces of fried chicken in there (bonus). Mains: My wife ordered the Sloppy Joe, which if you're into sloppy joes you may enjoy however it's not my thing. The chicken pot pie burrito however, comfort food at its finest. It's unique and flavorful, EAT IT WITH YOUR HANDS! I was using a fork and knife at first and it wasn't the same as the last few bites when I decided to just go for it. Atmosphere: Like I said, super casual - if you're looking for an easy night out with some good comfort food, come here.

It's in a nice part of town. Not congested. Good for big parties as well. We got to sit in the lower level. Felt really nice and private. I had the pork chop. Very tasty. They have seafood options as well. Decent drink menu service was a little slow but they were busy. Overall, a nice spot to grab dinner
Stop thinking about it and make sure to go here for lunch! Delicious sandwiches and other great food. We loved it! Outdoor seating, plus two levels of indoor seating and a bar. Don’t think they take reservations but it was quick to get a table (maybe 10 minutes). By the way, the drinks were delicious and our waitress was very nice. Plus it’s connected to a great coffee shop!!!
The Public Kitchen & Bar in Savannah, Georgia is a quaint establishment with very good food and drinks. The shrimp and grits were very well done— delicious sauce and full on flavor. My cocktail was well-mixed, but I can’t remember the name. The staff was friendly too. Was nice and quiet for lunch. I would return.

This restaurant has quickly become our favorite stop every time we travel to Orlando. We've been twice now and every visit the food is fresh, service is fast and staff is friendly. We particularly love how the placemats have historical information about the building.
Great customer service. I got the Low Country Santa Fe Pasta dish and it was delicious. The food is a little pricey to me but other than that everything was great. They even gave us a tour of the restaurant which was very interesting.
This place was very accommodating. The service was great! The steak and pork was not cooked to order and the team did us a solid. The fried chicken had an amazing sweet glaze; The calamari was on point; and loved the pirate themed hat, eye patch, etc for the kids.

Pretty dope underground spot in Historic Downtown Savannah. They had a sign outside the entrance saying “$15 bottomless mimosas,” and that was the hook that pulled us in. The catch is that you have to order an entree in order to get the deal, so please be aware. The food was pretty good overall. We tried the Chicken & Waffle Gyro, with loaded grits, along with the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and cornbread. All of it was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned, and the loaded grits with cheese, bacon bits, scallions, and the whipped marscapone was fire The cornbread tasted sweet and homemade, which I loved, and they give you two pieces. The prices are moderately high, but expected for the area. Stop by if you’re around town, you wont be disappointed.
My first time at The Ordinary Pub and also my first time having bison. The bison seemed bland, having more emphasis on the fried breading and not spiced much at all. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were very delicious. My date had the fried green tomatoes sliders appetizer as her meal which was more that sufficient and said was very delicious. The service was continuously attentive and friendly, definitely worth a repeat visit. The atmosphere had a good crowd. The music was a bit loud where we were but that was because we were next to the speaker. Overall a very good experience and will try many other dishes here.
Great brunch spot! Wonderful service, espresso martinis and food! I ordered the steak eggs and grits with Gouda cheese, and highly recommend it but they have a lot of great options on the menu to choose from. Vegetarian and vegan options as well.

As soon as we stepped in we saw all the amazing decor it was like we stepped back in time to an old yet modern bus station. The service and food were amazing. We were here to start our honeymoon, and our Server Ben met us with two glasses of champagne to congratulate us. He explained the menu and some of the history to us. Ben was probably the most attentive server I’ve ever had he kept the food coming and the drinks full. He congratulated us again at the end with a delicious dessert. And the surrounding staff were great, if you got up for something they immediately came and folded your napkin and refilled your drink. They ensued the cleanliness of the area at all times. And the food was amazing we had a felafel eggplant appetizer and a whole snapper entree that was more than enough for both of us. By far the best culinary experience we’ve had while being here in Savannah.
Dined here on 9/28/24. Sadly I had high hopes for this place and the reviews make you think otherwise. The service was okay and the decor beautiful but the food...... I was VERY disappointed. Not too mention the portions EXTREMELY SMALL and the price absurd, but food was literally (I mean literally) flavorless. I was shocked and appalled at such a lauded restaurant that's still delivering beautifully plated culinary trash. The worst sweetbreads I've ever had. Appetizers and mains came out at the same time. Oysters came out late and the fish was all bone, zero flesh. Would not recommend or return.
After watching a feature about The Grey on CBS Sunday Morning, we added The Grey to our destination restaurant list. Our dining experience lived up to the hype and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in to the final bite, the service was impeccable, and the food was simply outstanding. The lamb was perfectly cooked, and the Mango Lunch cocktail was a delightful surprise. Every detail, including the valet service, was flawlessly handled. We highly recommend The Grey for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Excellent experience! We got lucky and didn’t have a reservation, got seated right away. Very nice staff and waiter! Food was excellent! My wife got the pecan bourbon salmon and it was fresh and tasty! I got the grilled chicken and it was delicious, perfectly cooked! Not to mention the praline cheesecake was the perfect ending to our meal! Highly recommended!
River House is downtown on River Street directly across from the Savannah River. It’s in an old revitalized building that has been part of Savannah Historic District for ages. The food was good but not amazing; we had a fried shrimp plate and the Grouper with crab, mash potatoes, and asparagus. We also had the crab claw scampi dish. Unfortunately, we sent back because they were not fresh; the claws were hard and chewy. Perhaps a seasonal variety. The wine list was excellent with many choices. Overall, the experience was good but the price for 4 people would rival a high-end steak house. Would we return? It would be tough with so many other spots near to try without white table clothes and horrible parking.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. Fried Green Tomatoes: A standout dish! Perfectly crispy on the outside while maintaining a juicy and tangy interior. The accompanying sauce added a delightful kick, making it an absolute must-try. Catfish: Cooked to perfection, the catfish was tender and flavorful. The seasoning was just right, and it paired wonderfully with the side of hush puppies and coleslaw. A true Southern classic done right. French Onion Soup: Rich and savory, the French onion soup was a comforting bowl of goodness. The caramelized onions and melted cheese atop a slice of toasted bread created a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. Lobster and Crab: An indulgent treat! The lobster and crab were fresh and succulent, served with a delicious garlic butter sauce that enhanced the natural sweetness of the seafood. It was a luxurious dish that left us craving more. Desserts: Make sure to leave room for dessert! We tried the peach cobbler and the white chocolate coconut pie. The peach cobbler was warm and comforting, with a perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors. The white chocolate coconut pie was a delightful surprise, rich and creamy with a satisfying crunch from the coconut flakes.

Great service and atmosphere. We were supposed to go to the restaurant down the street but there was a long wait so we decided to try Husk out. I’m so glad we did. Beautiful restaurant and the food was excellent. The deviled eggs were delicious. I think they were mildly pickled. Burned garlic Caesar salad was good and the shrimp and grits were perfect, not too greasy or cheesy like some places do it. The burgers were also awesome. I’m usually very picky about the beef meat and it was so flavorful. Just perfect. They also have a great drink menu selection. I had an espresso martini which was good but my husband’s mixed drink was delish. I can’t remember the name. They even did a gluten free option burger for my son.
Great atmosphere and good service. I had high expectations but unfortunately the chef missed the mark. The pork loin was dry, the sauce and sweet potatoes were bland and unexciting, and the garnish on top of the pork (cocoa nib) was burnt and unrecognizable. The rolls were delicious, but the vegetables were mostly pickled which is strange, and the grits had a vinegar taste with no salt, lacking familiarity and not resembling the traditional dish whatsoever. The cantaloupe and ham was interesting, but the melon wasn’t sweet so the dish was mainly salty, which didn’t create a nice balance. Cocktails were delicious, and ambience was wonderful, acquiesce of an old plantation home. Overall, I was very disappointed but enjoyed the rolls, ambience and cocktails. The Grey was a much better experience.
Upscale hipster joint in a beautifully restored historic building. Local sourced meat and produce, carefully curated. Food was truly exceptional and so was the service. Flavors were bold and plating was intentional. Brunch burger was a truly spectacular smash burger. Didn’t put it down once I started. Deviled eggs were 10/10.

We both had tasting menus. I had the vegetarian one, and my husband had the normal one. He said the fish was extraordinary, but his other courses were a bit average - pretty decent to okay. Most of what I ate tasted that way. The mushrooms, soup, and pickles were good. The rest was just okay. And a few items in my tasting menu were reused and repeated for other courses. A bit disappointing. Service was friendly. (They did spill water all over his lap though)
Visited from Indiana. Everything about this place was wonderful. The food. The atmosphere. And most of all..the service. If you were to look up the definition of restaurant teamwork, you would see a photo of this team. They accomodated our shellfish and gluten allergies. We had full bellies by the end of the night. We left with a great experience. Highly recommend!
I recently moved back to savannah and finally made time to go to Elizabeth’s - 20 years overdue. So many times I am disappointed by restaurants I read rave reviews about but Elizabeth’s was everything I’d read and more!! The service is exceptional! The atmosphere is lovely. The food tonight was unbelievably delicious. Every flavor was perfectly chosen and unique, the presentation was on point, and everything was cooked exactly as it should be. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience tonight was. Brilliant!! Absolutely brilliant!!! I tried to remember to take pics but as you can see, I couldn’t resist trying everything the second it was placed in front of me. lol!

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants of all time! I feel like home every time we go. Fantastic service and food! A must-go when in Savannah. Asia makes it even better. She is the best server and so kind. She makes every visit so special. Also, the managers are always so kind and sweet.
Another outstanding dining experience at C&R. The service was amongst the best I have received at any restaurant I have dined at. Friendly, present and extremely knowledgeable all while not being intrusive. The food was amazing from start to finish from the charcuterie to the phenomenal wings, salad and entrees. Lets talk about the finish. Our server saw how quickly we demolished the desserts and the sad look on my face that it was all gone and the server appeared a couple of minutes later and dropped off another caramel peach tea ice cream dessert with a grin and a nod. This shows and incredible amount of experience from the ownership, management and floor staff to have such a nice touch be so easily executed. Well done team Cotton and Rye.
Excellent food. Visited July 2024. My steak was a perfect medium rare, nicely seasoned with some grilled tomatoes. The shrimp and grits side were sublime. My companions mushroom gumbo far exceeded our high expectations; nicely flavored and a hearty portion. The appetizer chicken wings were crispy with excellent flavor throughout. The prices are reasonable for the quality; our last visit was 7y ago, this place continues to be excellent. The reason it's not 5 stars is the covered patio area is quite loud and makes it tough to have a conversation with more than one other person.

My girlfriend and I did not know what to expect when we arrived. We really enjoyed our waitress Betty. She was a witty French madam that took really good care of us. She was the highlight of our trip to savannah.
We ate dinner here. The restaurant is very quaint and unique. Our server, Emily, was very nice and accommodating. We ordered a roquefort salad which we split. We are so glad we split it because it was so big. It was delicious! I had the striped bass with parsnip and potatoes. My husband had the seared scallops with pork belly. Both dishes were delicious. One major complaint is the hour wait to get our entrees once we finished our salad. Another small complaint is that they were out of some items and we ate early (6:30).
Hello. Without a doubt, the service along with the food is impeccable. I have to explain. My son is a college student in the area. It was his birthday. My husband and I weren't able to get out there to celebrate with him, so our son invited several friends to one of his favorite restaurants in Savannah; Circa 1875. I still wanted him to know, that evening, we were of course thinking of him and wishing him a wonderful time. A birthday cake! I needed to get one for him! I spoke to a lovely Circa employee, Emily. She gave me some thoughtful suggestions, and because of her and her generous nature I was able to facilitate one locally in Savannah. If it hadn't been for Emily, the cake never would have made it to the birthday table to help celebrate. Again, the food - always delicious, but the employees are certainly something special and should be treated as such. Thank you Circa 1875 family, you made the evening very special indeed.

Celebrated a birthday dinner here, and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better! The staff was super helpful with everything, and the whole place had such a great vibe – perfect music, awesome service, and the food was just amazing. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place for a chic dinner or just to grab a nice meal. Huge thanks to the team for making it a night to remember!
Wonderful experience. The bartenders were very friendly with great conversation. The restaurant was very dimly lit which made it a perfect date night. We came here for my birthday dinner. When talking to some locals around here they raved on about the Seabass so that’s what I got and it did NOT disappoint! Loved this place. It is on the upper scale price wise
Our meal was delicious from beginning to end. Will definitely be back. So glad we discovered this place! The she crab soup was soooo good, we ordered a second bowl. We had the Sea Bass and Striped Bass, mussels, and shared a salad....Pecan something. DELICIOUS!!!!! Will was our server, and he was great.

Came here for dinner and a couple of beers. Ordered the Stuffed Shrimp and had a couple of Guinness beers. Food was excellent, atmosphere was great and service was great! Would definitely come back. I sat at the bar.
River Street can be full of tourist traps, but this isn't one of them. There are great cocktail choices if you just want to stop in for a drink. You really feel the history when you are in this place. Of course I had to try the she crab soup and it was very good. The bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing but we didn't really care for the 'slaw' that it came with. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
The steaks were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the fact that my asparagus was crisp and not drowning in butter. The bread pudding was one of the best I've ever had; the creme anglaise really made that dish. The ambience was suited to Savannah, old world charm with a hint of dark moodiness. The sweet potato waffle fries were a bit over done and hard. Other than that we enjoyed our overall experience.

Our server, Hannah, was excellent. Her knowledge of the food/menu items is extensive. She was attentive without being intrusive. Her excitement regarding the antelope dish convinced me to try something new. So pleased I did, it was amazing. So tender and full of flavor. We enjoyed the alligator appetizers. This is not fried alligator nuggets, thank heaven's! All three were amazing. The Mr. enjoyed his scallops as well. Full bar and decent wine list. Definitely look through the restaurant at the artwork.
My husband and I picked Savannah GA to celebrate our 19th Wedding Anniversary, and I made reservations at Alligator Soul, I will tell you, it was one of the most delicious meals we've ever had, and Bethany our server is such a wonderful young lady, very sweet, engaging and just has the warmest personalities. The sheep head fish was divine, and the Elk was delicious, too. The frog legs were the best we've ever had. I would recommend anyone visiting Savannah GA, dine at Alligator Soul!
The best saved for last. The dessert was seriously out of this world and loved every bite. Crab/alligator cakes were a bit dry and not the best. One of the scallops was pure ammonia but they made good on it and took it off. First time having kangaroo and loved it. The gumbo was amazing. If I could do it all over again, nix the scallops and crab/alligator cakes, and get the gumbo, dessert, and special. Service was really really good!
